Abstract

Increasing the skills of the residents of theorphanage must always be carried out continuously. Thefactors underlying this include: the increase in the number oforphanages especially in big cities and so with residents whoneed a place to live. They come from various backgrounds.Funding for orphanages is still very hopeful for benefactorsand the local government. But the financing is not relied onsustainably and constantly. On the other hand, in general theresidents are in the productive age category, so it is verypossible for them to be able to finance themselves. Providingtechnical skills and building the spirit of entrepreneurship isone effort to reduce dependence on other parties. This wasdone by the UNM service team at the Miftahul Khairorphanage in Makassar City. The results obtained from thisactivity are assisted by the manager in preparing the future ofthe occupants. The skills of the participants increased insimple electricity installations. Besides that their desire forentrepreneurship began to emerge.

Abstract

Designing learning media based on e-learning in Malino Elementary School is an important program of activities to beimplemented in the digital era in order to improve the teaching competencies of productive teachers through 21st centurylearning. e-learning. Based on the problems of partners, realized by PKM designing e-learning based learning media with the aimto: (1) increase knowledge in the preparation of e-learning based learning media, and (2) increase understanding of thecomponents of e-learning based learning media development. Methods of activities through guidance and training (practice),methods of discussion and evaluation. Outputs and results achieved after doing this activity, namely: Outputs and results thathave been achieved, namely (1) the teachers have knowledge of the steps in the preparation of e-learning based learning media,(2) the teachers compile an e-based learning media -learning with approaches according to core competencies and basiccompetencies, (3) the absorption of mastery of the average training material is good, (4) the teachers give positive responses tothe implementation of the training, and (5) the teachers are able to make and use e-learning based learning media. Based on theresults achieved, the implementation of PKM design of e-learning based learning media for teachers was successful. Therefore,teachers get contextual guidance during training. Starting from the design of teaching materials, knowing the features that areused in stages in e-learning based learning and implementing it well.

Abstract

The need for 21st century learning concepts through 4C (Communication, Collaboration, Critical Thinking andproblem solving, Creative and Innovative) in learning helps teachers to improve the competency of students mastering a varietyof hard skills and soft skills. The 4C concept was adopted as part of the learning of the digital era, so it was very urgent toconduct PKM on the teachers of SMK Negeri 3 Gowa. PKM conducted at SMK Negeri 3 Gowa aims to find out: (1) designinglearning tools based on e-learning, (2) stages in designing learning tools based on e-learning, and (3) responses of teachers inimplementing e-learning learning in learning devices. The methods used in the implementation of PKM, namely: (1) guidanceand training models accompanied by the provision of case studies, (2) question and answer methods, and (3) evaluation oftraining implementation. The resulting output, namely: (1) teachers have the ability to design learning tools based on e-learning75% adapt their learning tools in elearning, (2) use the design stages well, (3) teachers provide positive responses with average87%. Thus PKM activities are carried out well based on the indicators produced. Thus, the teachers of SMK Negeri 2 Gowaincreased their knowledge in designing e-learning based learning tools.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui cara merancang sistem Pengendali Home Appliances menggunakan Telepon seluler Berbasis Mikrikontroler ATmega 16 dan (2) menghasilkan sistem pengendalian lampu rumah jarak jauh dan sistem pencegahan kebakaran karena kebocoran gas dalam rumah (3) melakukan pengujian pada sensor gas untuk mencegah terjadinya kebakaran. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian rekayasa merancang pengendali Home Appliances untuk mengamati cara kerja sms getaway modem wavecom dan Sensor gas. Modem wavecom digunakan sebagai komunikasi via wireless GSM. Dengan alat ini dapat dengan mudah mengirimkan data berupa SMS, atau data GPRS. Modem ini menggunakan AT command sebagai perintah untuk mengirimkan data dan diolah ke mikrokontroler melalui komunikasi USART, jika user ingin menyalakan dan mematikan lampu diawali dengan symbol ’#’dan indikator on/off akan tampil pada LCD. Sensor gas yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah tipe MQ5 yang mempunyai sensitivitas tinggi, sehingga sangat cocok untuk memonitor keberadaan LPG. Pada saat keberadaan LPG terdeteksi, konduktivitas sensor meningkat tergantung dengan konsentrasi gas di udara dan nilai varibel gas akan tampil pada LCD, jika gas terdeteksi semakin banyak maka nilai variabel yang tampil di lcd semakin bertambah dan buzzer berbunyi sebagai peringatan adanya kebocoran gas. Desainya dirancang dalam bentuk prototipe namun menyerupai dengan bentuk aslinya. Penelitian ini berlangsung di Workshop Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Elektronika. Dari hasil pengujian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa sistem pengendali Home appliances menggunakan Modem wavecom, sensor gas MQ5, Driver relay, Sistem minimum berbasiss ATMega 16, kipas, 4 buah lampu, dan Terminal.
