Abstract

Teluk Dalam River is one of the small rivers lays in Banjarmasin. However, when the tides occur, some places such as houses and roads that located around the riverbanks still run into puddles and water system that still need to regulated again. This final project discusses about the water system in urban area that affected by the tides. The method used is the field research in the form of geometrical data every 50 meters conducted along the river, tidal data for 15 days and speed river data. Geometrical data that used is the geometrical data every 100 meters, then that data were input in Autocad Landekstop 2009 to get cross sections and long sections of the river. The tidal data were analyzed through Admiralty method and Worldtides application that will get the results of tidal harmonic constants such as number of Formzahl, MSL, MHHWS, etc. Then the tidal analysis results with the highest elevation MHHWS to be input on river sectional in Autocad. So, we will get cross and long sections of the river that run into tidal water run off and will get a safe levee elevation plans. Digitization of Teluk Dalam river watershed also conducted to determine the land use in the watershed of the river Teluk Dalam.  The Results of the research showed Teluk Dalam River length is 3.55 km, The number of stations that were flooded due to tidal as many as 3 for admiralty method and 16 for worldtides of the total 35 stations, with the water level varied. And for the water system need to clean up the river, raising the riverbanks, and management of  water buildings in Teluk Dalam River.   .Key Words :     Teluk Dalam River, Water Sytem, Channel Cross Section, Tides, Worldtides

Abstract

In its implementation, starting from the planning stage, the implementation of scheduling, to the supervision and implementation of good controls, construction projects need to be well managed in their work. In the process of Building the Phase II Bridge Project in Pejambuan Village, Sungai Tabuk District, there was a slight delay in the eighth week due to equipment damage and delays in the material supply mobilization process. This project only has a time schedule in the form of an S Curve which is not helpful in controlling work in the field. This study aims to analyze scheduling using  the Precedence Diagram Method (PDM) method assisted by the Microsoft Project 2021 application and identify critical and non-critical paths of work so that the implementation of the project can be carried out with an effective duration.Based on the results of the analysis of this study, the total duration of work is 138 working days with the total duration of work calculated using calendar days for 174 days, and the total duration of project realization is 180 calendar days. CV planning calculation. Al Fatih Karya is scheduled to be completed by September 30, 2024, while scheduling with the PDM method is completed by September 24, 2024. The critical trajectory in the results of this analysis is found in 13 activities starting from ordinary excavation work and ending with the installation of bridge nameplates. Keywords : Bridge, Microsoft Project 2021, Scheduling, Delay, PDM

Abstract

The project implementation deadline has a significant impact to avoid losses including disputes, cost overruns of construction costs and delays in project implementation. Project schedule planning has various project planning methods that aim to manage implementation time. Project scheduling methods include Barchart, Critical Path Method, Precendence Diagram Method, Project Evaluation and Review Technique. This study analyzes project scheduling using the Precedence Diagram Method (PDM) by analyzing the duration, dependency relationships, lag and lead, critical path and float on the Multi-Storey Building and Renovation of PAUD Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal Rahmaniah Classroom project in Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan. This study uses primary data from interviews and secondary data. The analysis is carried out by identifying the duration, dependency relationships by conducting interviews with competent experts, analyzing lag and lead, critical path and float using the Precedence Diagram Method (PDM). The results of the study indicate that the project duration based on the analysis for 125 calendar days, there are 43 job descriptions included in the critical path and 41 job descriptions included in the float. This study confirms that project scheduling using the Precedence Diagram Method has various advantages that can facilitate control and decision making during the project. This study can be used as a reference in time control in similar project research, namely simple multi-storey buildings and determining duration, dependency relationships, lag and lead in work descriptions and this study can be used as a reference in time control research with the Precendence Diagram Method in similar work descriptions.

Abstract

To increase rice production in Tanah Laut Regency, one of the programs implemented by the Tanah Laut Regency Government is the development of swamp irrigation areas in Sabuhur Village. Sabuhur Village has a large swamp area, which has great potential to be developed as agricultural land. However, the success of this development is highly dependent on the suitability of the soil for use as agricultural land. Therefore, testing the physical and chemical characteristics of the soil is a crucial first step to identify the potential and constraints that may occur. The method used is field sampling and laboratory testing. Based on the test results, it can be seen that the characteristics of the physical and chemical properties of the soil at the research location. In terms of soil physical properties at the location, it can be known that soil permeability ranges from 1.86-3.64 cm/h (silty clay), bulk density ranges from 1.01-1.46 g/cm3 (most have exceeded critical values for agriculture), particle density ranges from 1.9-2.86 g/cm3 (mineral soil conditions), porosity ranges from 38.83%-63.31% (silty clay), and aggregate stability ranges from 14%-62.8%. As for the chemical properties of the soil, the total Fe content ranges between 112.19-507.47 ppm, pyrite content between 0.004-0.053% (small pyrite content), CEC ranges between 16.15-30.81 me/100gr (moderate to high soil clay content), and moisture content ranges between 4.88%-29.03. Therefore, the sampling location is not a swamp area because it is mostly mineral soil with a small moisture content. The observation location is a permanently submerged wetland environment.

Abstract

Construction projects often face delays and cost overruns due to material delays, labor shortages, and adverse weather. In the Sports Building project in South Kalimantan, a 17-day delay beyond the planned 270-day schedule increased costs, risk of penalties, and threatened the contractor’s reputation and project sustainability. Therefore, accelerating completion is essential to reduce losses. Overtime on critical path activities is a common acceleration method but requires careful analysis since excessive overtime can reduce productivity and raise costs. This study aims to analyze alternatives for accelerating the duration of the construction of a sports arena in South Kalimantan using the Time Cost Trade-Off (TCTO) method. TCT) method is applied, focusing on adding 2, 3, and 4 hours of overtime per day on critical path tasks. The approach integrates actual project data, regulations, and productivity factors to develop effective acceleration strategies. Results show that adding 3 hours of overtime daily is the most efficient, reducing duration from 287 to 283 days and saving IDR 71,652,415.38. However, the 270-day target is not yet met, requiring further crashing. This paper presents only one crashing iteration as a practical simulation to demonstrate the method and potential outcomes. Future crashing will focus on tasks with the lowest cost slope while considering task dependencies.
