Abstract

Cyber city is one of the modern city concepts based on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) which has been widely applied in big cities around the world. This is a result of the increasing need for people who want to access information and communicate easily and quickly. As part of the modern world community, Indonesia is time to apply the concept of cyber city to meet the needs of its citizens in accessing the internet more broadly and is no longer limited to certain groups. Indonesian citizens are now in the information age where everyone has the same opportunity to communicate widely both nationally and internationally. The implementation of cyber city can also help the community in utilizing the sophistication of information technology to support development. This study discusses the optimization of cyber city as a communication media for development in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative approach. The data collection technique of the researcher uses the literature study method. Cyber city as a development communication media has an important role in supporting development in Indonesia, it needs to be improved development communication technology innovations that are easy to use and useful for the community and increase protection for people's personal data.

Abstract

Introduction/Main Objectives: Universities need effective communication with prospective students through various communication channels to attract them to their programs. Background Problems: Public relations universities need to provide maximum service to prospective students in accordance with student characteristics and university communication media. Novelty: Many previous studies have examined the public relations of universities with the theme of image or social media of universities. This study examines the relationship of individual characteristics with the public communication process in universities in terms of use, message content, and frequency. Research Methods: The method used in this study is descriptive correlation with quantitative and qualitative approaches. This study used a quota sample. Hypothesis tests were conducted using spearman rank correlation test. Finding/Results: The results of the study show that the use of communication channels, which has a great influence on the character of students is brochure, the content of the message, which has a great influence on student characteristics is the brochure communication channel. The frequency of communication channels that have a great impact on individual character are verbal messages, Facebook and banner. Conclusion: It is necessary to focus on the increased use of brochure communication channels, the content of brochures and the frequency of verbal messages, Facebook and banners.

Abstract

The development of technology during the Industrial Revolution 4.0 has created a modern way of communication between social institutions and potential donors. Potential donors have communication tools connected to the Internet and search for information about orphanages through digital communication channels. The goal of this non-profit activity is to help orphanage managers create E-Newsletter s to increase potential donors' interest in making a donation. The method used is to have lecturer and students assist in the creation of E-Newsletter s. This activity went well and succeeded in publishing an interesting and informative E-Newsletter for the public and potential donors. The suggestion of this community service activity is that orphanage managers can continue to publish E-Newsletter s in collaboration with children of the orphanage to be distributed on websites and other social media.

Abstract

ABSTRACTPerguruan tinggi membutuhkan komunikasi yang efektif dengan calon mahasiswa, yaitu dengan memberikan pelayanan kepada calon mahasiswa mengenai berbagai program studi, kegiatan, prospek kerja dan lain sebagainya untuk memotivasi calon mahasiswa agar tertarik dengan programnya. Dari tahun 2009 sampai dengan tahun 2013 di Universitas Islam “45” (Unisma) Bekasi terjadi kenaikan jumlah mahasiswa baru sebesar 71,48%. Saluran komunikasi yang digunakan oleh Unit Penerimaan Calon Mahasiswa (UPCM) di Unisma adalah: pesan lisan, spanduk, baliho, selebaran biaya kuliah, buklet, website, facebook, telepon, dan SMS Gateway. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan proses komunikasi di UPCM Unisma; menganalisis hubungan karakteristik individu dengan proses komunikasi; menganalisis hubungan proses komunikasi dengan kepuasan dan tindakan mahasiswa baru. Pengumpulan data dilakukan selama bulan Mei-Juli 2014 menggunakan pengambilan sampel kuota. Jumlah sampel adalah 210 mahasiswa baru. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji korelasi Rank Spearman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pesan lisan dan selebaran biaya kuliah adalah saluran komunikasi yang paling banyak dipakai oleh mahasiswa baru, sedangkan yang paling sedikit adalah baliho dan SMS Gateway; buklet adalah saluran komunikasi yang paling berhubungan terhadap karakter individu; mayoritas mahasiswa baru puas dengan pelayanan penerimaan mahasiswa baru. Spanduk, baliho, selebaran biaya kuliah dan SMS Gateway adalah saluran komunikasi yang paling berhubungan terhadap kepuasan dan tindakan mahasiswa baru.   Kata Kunci: Komunikasi Organisasi, Kepuasan, Tindakan, Pelayanan Kemahasiswaan, Mahasiswa Baru

Abstract

In the last decade, company believed their Public Relations to manage the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Program. CSR held in order to strengthen the sustainability of the company in a region, by building cooperation among stakelmlders by arranging community relations programs. The aim of this research is to find out about how the role of public relations in enhancing the positive image of the company in the CSR program. The research used a liturature studies and shows that CSR activities can enhance the positive image of companies by using the stages in the process of public relations, they are fact finding, problem mapping planning and programming, action and communication, and evaluation. Company should make sustainable CSR program that have positive impact to society, both in economically, environmentally, and socially.

Abstract

This study is to explain that an internal and corporate communication between staff and management can be achieved effectively and efficiently through cooperation and harmonious working climate. The method is a descriptive analytic using a study of literature with qualitative analysis. The result shows that corporate need an intranet as an internal media to facilitate communication and information access. Intranet is a public relations media to promote sharing of knowledge, data storage, and dissemination of information, rules, and ideas and provide security, access to personal information that can be relied upon the company. Intranet is an effective internal communication in corporate.

Abstract

Outlook Application Program in Order to Increase the Positive Attitude of the Employee to TELKOMRisTI” is a research regarding the activity from one of internal communication media held by TELKOMRisTI employee. The aim of this research is to find out about the outlook application structure, style, and appeal message to increasing the cognitive, affective, and conative aspect of TELKOMRisTI employee using Communication Theory of Persuasion from Hovland, Janis, and Kelly. The research is a kind of a survey research using descriptive method with data collected through: questionnaire, interview, observation, and literature studies. Population in this research are all employee at TELKOMRisTI with 24 employee as a sample which taken based on simple random sampling. The result of this research shows that the Outlook Application massage structure, style are good so that can build the medium cognitive, affective, conative attitude of TELKOMRisTI employee and the other hand shows high cognitive, affective and conative attitude on massage appeal. TELKOMRisTI officer should increase kinds of featur and theme, socialize the e-mail of conduct, and concern about the factualiy and actuality of Aplication Outlook messages.

Abstract

Hospital public relations face significant challenges during the Covid 19 pandemic.The purpose of this study was to describe the public relations strategy to improve the imageand reputation of the hospital. This research uses a literature study. The findings of thisstudy are that hospital public relations can implement strategies to increase publicawareness, socialize hospital products and services, educate patients about maintainingtheir health, provide information about hospital excellence, build hospital trust andcredibility, apply a friendly and communicative hospital culture, motivate patients andbuild good relationships, and disseminate newsworthy information to the mass media.Hospital public relations should accelerate change, innovation and creativity incommunication.

Abstract

Minimnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang Teknologi, Aplikasi Komputer dan Android untuk bersaing dalam dunia bisnis di era digital dikalangan petani, peternak dan pelaku UMKM Desa,di Desa Pringkasap Kecamatan Pabuaran Kabupaten Subang - Jawa Barat, Indonesia, telah menarik perhatian dosen-dosen Universitas Persada Indonesia YAI untuk melakukan penyuluhandengan tema Pengenalan Teknologi, Aplikasi Komputer dan Android untuk Pemasaran Hasil Peternakan, Perikanan dan UMKM Desa. Dengan tujuan agar produk yang dihasilkan mampuberkembang dan bersaing di pasar lokal, Nasional, maupun Internasional. Para peserta diberikan pengetahuan, motivasi dan peragaan untuk menggunakan teknologi komputer aplikasi smartphonedengan teknologi Android. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa penyuluhan kepada 29 petani, peternak dan pelaku UMKM. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang Teknologi, Aplikasi Komputer dan Android untuk bersaing dalam dunia bisnis di era digital. Saran dari hasil kegiatan ini adalah perlunya workshop mengenai penggunaan atau pemanfaatan aplikasi pada computer dan smartphone untuk membuat berbagai desain khusunya desain kemasan produk, agar lebih menarik dan mampu bersaing di pasaran.
