Abstract

As a country with the largest Muslim population in the world, there is excellent potential for Islamic financial instruments for the prosperity of the people, one of which is Zakat as an instrument of income distribution that can be the answer to problems that are visible in Indonesia, economic and social. Zakat itself has complete laws and instruments, but the potential and reality of its collection are still reversed. This study describes the conditions of collecting Zakat and the factors influencing muzakki's decision on digital Zakat. Using the Analytical Network Process (ANP) method, the factors influencing muzakki's decisions are trust, ease of use, and zakat literacy. The results of this study indicate that trust, ease of use, and zakat literacy affect the decision of muzakki to pay Zakat digitally. The first result shows that the ease of use factor has the most considerable influence on the decision of the digital Zakat and the most influential sub-factor is flexibility

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to ascertain how financial literacy and Instagram's role as an online retailer affect impulse purchases. The research method used is a survey. The population is students of the faculty of economics consist of 164 students as accessible population, and by using proportional random sampling, we choose 110 respondents. The data is linearly related and has a normally distributed distribution, according to the results of the requirements test. The classical assumption test has been passed by all variables. In the multicollinearity test, there is value tolerance from Instagram as an online shop media and financial literacy of 0.7090.01 and a VIF value of 1.41010. The regression equation obtained is Ỹ=14.588+0.808X1-0.110X2. Based on hypothesis test F test (Fcount Ftable), that is equal to 410.146 3.0811. Second, based on the Instagram t-test as an online shop media (tcount ttable), which is equal to 22.830 1.9823 and financial literacy of -2.102 1.9823. Based on the coefficient of determination, Instagram as an online shop media and financial literacy simultaneously affect 88% of impulsive buying behaviour. It concludes that Instagram and financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on student’s impulsive buying behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of world crude oil prices and Indonesia's crude oil reserves on the volume of Indonesia's crude oil exports for the period 1996-2024. The global crude oil market has experienced significant fluctuations due to various factors such as geopolitical conflicts, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the shift towards renewable energy. Indonesia, as a country that has transitioned from a net exporter to a net importer of crude oil, faces challenges in maintaining its export volume amidst declining domestic production and increasing energy consumption. This research employs a quantitative approach with a time series analysis method using secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and the Energy Institute. The analytical method used is the Error Correction Model (ECM) to examine both short-term and long-term relationships between variables. The results indicate that in the long term, world crude oil prices have a negative and significant effect, while Indonesia's crude oil reserves have a positive and significant effect on the volume of crude oil exports. In the short term, world crude oil prices do not have a significant effect, whereas crude oil reserves continue to have a positive and significant effect. The coefficient of determination (Adjusted R²) in the long-term model reaches 92.48%, indicating that both independent variables are able to explain most of the variation in Indonesia's crude oil export volume. These findings provide important implications for the government in formulating energy policies, maintaining national energy security, and encouraging exploration of new crude oil reserves to support sustainable export activities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of price and income on contemporary coffee demand through product quality among Generation Z at convenience coffee stores in East Jakarta. This research uses a quantitative approach with a survey method through the distribution of questionnaires to respondents who have purchased coffee at convenience coffee stores. The number of respondents in this study was 219 people, selected using a purposive sampling technique. The data analysis method used in this study is Partial Least Square (PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS software to test the relationships between variables in the research model. The results show that price does not have a significant direct effect on coffee demand, while income and product quality have a positive and significant effect on coffee demand at convenience coffee stores. In addition, the results also indicate that price and income have a positive and significant effect on product quality. In testing the indirect effects, it was found that product quality is able to mediate the effect of price on coffee demand and also mediate the effect of income on coffee demand. This indicates that consumers do not only consider price when purchasing coffee, but also pay attention to the quality of the product offered and their purchasing power which is influenced by their income level. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that income and product quality are important factors influencing contemporary coffee demand at convenience coffee stores, while price does not directly affect demand but plays a role through consumers’ perceptions of product quality. This study is expected to contribute to the development of economic knowledge, particularly in the field of consumer behavior, and to serve as a reference for convenience coffee store businesses in determining pricing strategies and improving product quality.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of paddy production cost, grain price, and rice distribution on rice price in Indonesia. A quantitative approach was employed using panel data regression analysis to examine the effects of the independent variables paddy production cost, grain price, and rice distribution on the dependent variable, namely rice prices at the consumer level. Secondary data were obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and the Agricultural Data and Information System Center of the Ministry of Agriculture, covering 32 provinces over the 2017–2024 period. The analysis was conducted using the Random Effects Model (REM) with the assistance of EViews version 12 software. The results indicate that paddy production costs and grain prices have a positive and significant effect on rice prices, suggesting that increases in these two variables tend to drive rice prices upward. In contrast, rice distribution does not exert a significant influence on rice prices, indicating that logistics and distribution factors have not yet emerged as dominant determinants in rice price formation. These findings underscore the importance of government policies aimed at controlling production costs and stabilizing grain prices to ensure the affordability of rice for consumers
