Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh investasi dan tingkat inflasi baik secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Indonesia dengan menggunakan data sekunder runtut waktu kuartalan dari tahun 2005 sampai 2013. Metode penelitian bersifat kuantitatif dengan analisis model menggunakan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa investasi secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, dan inflasi secara parsial berpengaruh negatif signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Indonesia.

Abstract

Economic activities require a transparent regulatory and policy environment that is accessible to all levels of society. This study aims to explain the impact of ease of doing business on economic growth in both ASEAN and the European Union since doing business indicators applied globally. Gross Domestic Product is used as a proxy variable for economic growth as Gross Domestic Product is an indicator to measure economic growth. This study uses a descriptive quantitative research model and uses multiple regressions to determine the effect of ease of doing business on economic growth in ASEAN and the European Union by comparing the result of each ASEAN and European Union. In this study it was found that in ASEAN, there are four indicators of doing business have significant impact to economic growth, while in the European Union five indicators have significant impact to economic growth.

Abstract

The ability to survive a family business during the COVID-19 pandemic is a very interesting concept to study, because almost every family business has difficulty maintaining its business in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, so based on this, this study aims to analyze and reveal the influence of entrepreneurship education in family towards entrepreneurial motivation, either directly, or through mediating the entrepreneurial attitude of family business entrepreneurs in the culinary sector during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study is a non-experimental explanatory study on the culinary sector family business in Makassar City, South Sulawesi. The population in this study is 1,267 family businesses in the culinary sector, with a sample of 133 family businesses in the culinary sector. The findings of this study have succeeded in revealing and exploring that entrepreneurship education in the family has contributed to the formation of entrepreneurial motivation both directly and indirectly through mediating the entrepreneurial attitude of family business entrepreneurs in the culinary sector during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the Internship Program which is required by Faculty of Economics  and find out the extent of success of the Internship Program in order to develop human skills, and formulate policy recommendations to improve such activities in the future. This research uses descriptive deductive method and model evaluation of the Context-Input-Process-Product ( CIPP ) program. From the research result, it is found that implementation in context, input, process and product aspects has been done with various results. There are 6 issues of strategic issues raised based on interviews that are considered to be considered in regard to the internship program. Researchers also give 6 policy recommendations to be implemented by the faculty that will impact on the human development of the world of education in general.

Abstract

Abstrak Pengembangan sumber daya ekonomi lokal saat ini menjadi tren baru dalam upaya meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat dan daerah. Faktor lokal yang terkait memainkan peran pentingn baik dari sisi sumber daya alam (bahan mentah) maupun sumber daya manusia (tenaga kerja). Makalah ini coba menyajikan bagaimana Usaha Kecil Mikro Menegah Pengrajin Payung Geulis mencoba untuk meningkatkan pembangunan ekonomi yang didasari oleh pengembangkan sumber daya ekonomi lokal di Tasikmalaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan potensi pengusaha yang mencakup kompetensi dan komitmen pengusaha dalam bisnis usaha kecil, dan untuk menggambarkan kekuatan bisnis /posisi kompetitif, profil bisnis serta pengusaha yang dipengaruhi oleh kondisi lingkungan internal dan eksternal lingkungan, dilihat dari sisi positif dan negatif. Penelitian dilakukan pada industri payung geulis usaha kerajinan di Tasikmalaya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan analisis SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan banyak masalah yang dihadapi dan sangat kompleks, seperti: rendahnya kualitas sumber daya manusia, modal usaha terbatas, rendahnya akses terhadap pasar, akses kelembaga keuangan / bank tidak ada, ketidaktahuan prosedur administrasi, keberlanjutan dan produksi kapasitas terbatas; ditambah dengan iklim usaha tidak kondusif bagi pengembangan UKM dan kewirausahaan. Abstract

Abstract Cooperative efforts towards the pillar of the national economy should be supported through strengthening institutional cooperatives. As is known in the cooperative governance still have problems like, weak capital structure, business competition, diminishing cooperative image in the eyes of the community, the level of skills and professionalism of human resources inadequate and lack of education and awareness of government agencies. Strengthening the institutional cooperative effort can be made by supporting the empowerment of cooperatives through the capital. Capital support for cooperative development can be given with equity participation by the goverment, business entities, or public sector. To maximize business through equity capital is expected that cooperative be more innovative to attract the attention of investors. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the significane of economic integration to Indonesia trade between ASEAN countries, especially the vehicle sector since ASEAN FREE TRADE AREA (AFTA) between 1991-2006. The methodology used is the Gravity model which often used to analyze bilateral trade, the effects of liberalization and trade agreements. The population in this study are the most dominant Indonesia trading partners at the four-wheeled vehicle, which are Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, and Singapore, as the ASEAN members, and as comparison Australia, South Korea, Japan and the United States as non ASEAN members. The results showed that based on the estimation results, AFTA has a significant impact to Indonesia four-wheeled vehicle trade. The results of this study is expected to be uses as a reference for policy makers of ASEAN members and the private sector, especially Multi National Company (MNC) to formulated policy which are more efficient and effective on the automotive sector among ASEAN members.Keywords: economic integration, the Gravity model, AFTA

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe aim of this paper is to analyze the dairy farmers problems who have to face the gap between demand and supply milk issues. Demand for milk commodities increased significant year by year, but the national milk production can not supply the milk processing industry needs. Local fresh milk production only supply 25% of the raw material for the milk processing industry. The New Institutionalism in Economic and Sociology model regards a mechanisms for the integration of formal and informal relationships at every level causal, like at the micro level (individual), meso (group or organization) and the macro level in the form of environmental policy (policy environment) which affect the system development and agribusiness. This study aims to generate the government policy which should be able to increase the bargaining power of dairy farmers in development their agribusiness through the strengthening of economic and social capital to create competitive dairy farmers.Keywords: Milk farmers, New Institutional Economics, New Institutionalism in Economic and Sociology, Public Policy

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the Fiscal Decentralization that measured by revenue capacity and expenditure capacity have an impact on economic growth in East Java 2010-2014. The research method used in this study is shaped Time Series of the 2010-2014 and the cross section amounts to 12 regency and 4 city in East Java Province, with ex post facto method. The data presented annually obtained from BPS (Central Bureau of Statistics) of the Ministry of financial. This study uses panel data regression model Fixed effect. Based on the results of simultaneous analysis, revenue capacity and expenditure capacity significantly influence on economic growth of 16 regency/city in East Java. Based on the results of the analysis the revenue capacity giving impact significantly positive on economic growth of 16 regency/city in East Java. The expenditure capacity have negative impact and significant to economic growth of 16 regency/city in East Java.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and examine the influence of maritime economic development and the economy of coastal communities in improving maritime competitiveness and coastal economic growth. Maritime economics is analyzed based on the fisheries sector, marine tourism and shipping. The economics of coastal communities are analyzed based on community empowerment, development and welfare. This research was conducted in Riau Islands Province. This reseach uses a qualitative method with a questionnaire of 330 respondents. The processing of research data by validity test, reliability, t-test, F-test and Adjusted R Square. The result of H1 that maritime economic development affect on competitiveness of maritime regions. Its are the fisheries sector 8.3%, the tourism sector 2.51%. H2 the economic development of coastal communities affects on competitiveness of maritime regions that are empowerment 23.2%, to increase welfare 31.8%. The development no significant effect. H3 the maritime economic development affects coastal economic growth through the fisheries sector 18%, the tourism sector 18% and the shipping sector 12.5%. H4 hypothesis of economic development of coastal communities has significant effect on coastal economic growth, that are at community empowerment 12.5%, welfare 17.2%, development 6.8%.
