Abstract

This research trytoanalyzethe factors that influence the occurrence of underpricing in companies that go public. This study uses a more variable varies the financial and non-financial variables contained in the prospectus which is composed of the reputation of the underwriter, auditor reputation, firm size, financial leverage, return on assets (ROA) and return on equity (ROE). According to the results of previous studies, these variables generally tend to show a significant effect on underpricing in companies that go public. This research is ekspost facto (causal comparative). Sample selection method used was purposive sampling and sample used was 132 sample companies doing an Initial Public Offering on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2002-2012. This study uses regression testing models. Regression analysis showed that only the underwriter reputation significantly influence underpricing

Abstract

This research try to examine whether corporate governance when the company madean Initial Public Offering (IPO) affect the level of underpricing shares of companies that go public by using the period 2002-2012. This study focuses on the influence of corporate governance structure on the level of underpricing by using control variables underwriter reputation, return on assets (ROA), firm size, financial leverage, and return on equity (ROE). According to the results of previous studies, these variables generally tend to show a significant effect on underpricing in companies that go public.            This research is ekspost facto (causal comparative). Sample selection method used was purposive sampling and sample used was 131 sample companies doing an Initial Public Offering on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2002-2012. This study uses regression testing models. Regression analysis showed that only the underwriter reputation significantly influence underpricin.

Abstract

Cekopi adalah usaha kecil dan menengah yang bergerak di bidang bisnis coffee shop. Berdasarkan data penjualan, diperoleh informasi bahwa kedai kopi tersebut mengalami fluktuasi penjualan pada tahun 2018. Hal ini dipicu oleh adanya persaingan antar coffee shop yang semakin sengit. Strategi yang dipilih cekopi untuk menyikapi kondisi tersebut adalah dengan berkomitmen untuk meningkatkan hubungan baik dengan pelanggan. Strategi yang mereka pilih untuk mengelola hubungan pelanggan adalah dengan melakukan riset pasar melalui survey kepuasan pelanggan. Melalui survey kepuasan pelanggan, cekopi berharap dapat menggali kebutuhan, keinginan, dan perilaku pelanggan sebagai dasar untuk pengembangan bisnis mereka di masa mendatang. Hingga saat ini, cekopi belum memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup terkait dengan pelaksanaan survey kepuasan pelanggan. Hal ini dikarenakan cekopi belum pernah melaksanakan kegiatan tersebut sebelumnya. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan riset pasar melalui survey kepuasan pelanggan yang terstruktur dan terdokumentasi dengan baik saat ini merupakan hal krusial bagi cekopi. Untuk menjawab permasalahan tersebut, Tim PKM Universitas Veteran Bangun Nusantara Sukoharjo menyelenggarakan kegiatan pendampingan pelaksanaan survey kepuasan pelanggan yang dilaksanakan dalam enam tahap, yaitu: sosialisasi konsep survey kepuasan pelanggan, merancang kuesioner dan format, merancang prosedur sampling, menyiapkan data, menginterpretasikan hasil survey, serta penyusunan arsip atau dokumentasi kegiatan survey kepuasan pelanggan. Berdasarkan evaluasi kegiatan yang telah dilakukan, diketahui bahwa pada masing-masing tahapan kegiatan skor posttest mengalami peningkatan ≥ 25 % dari pada skor pretest. Hasil ini menunjukkan mitra UMKM mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan dalam hal pelaksanaan survey kepuasan pelanggan dan pengarsipan hasil kegiatan survey kepuasan pelanggan. Luaran dari kegiatan ini adalah laporan survey kepuasan pelanggan UMKM coffee shop Cekopi tahun 2019. Berdasarkan indikator yang telah diukur, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pendampingan, penyuluhan, dan pelatihan survey kepuasan pelanggan untuk mitra UMKM coffee shop Cekopi dinyatakan berhasil.

Abstract

The Surakarta City Government built the Taman Sriwedari Culinary Shelter to accommodate MSMEs due to the relocation. Most of these MSMEs had to start from scratch because of the loss of customers and the low interest of visitors because most people did not know about the shelter’s existence. The main problem for partners is limited knowledge in marketing and promotion. This service aims to transfer science and technology to MSMEs by implementing mentoring activities in marketing and advertising. The solution to the problem is to optimize information technology based on Google Maps as an alternative media for promoting MSMEs at the Taman Sriwedari culinary shelter. Using this technology, it is hoped that the location of MSME partners will be easier to reach and increasingly known by the public. The method carried out is divided into five stages: initial socialization of the benefits of the google map application as an alternative media promotion, counseling and training on the practice of making, optimizing, and managing google map accounts, addresses on google maps, sharing locations from google maps, and adding photos reports. Social media on google maps. To identify an increase in the knowledge of MSME partners regarding the material presented, a pretest and posttest were carried out. After the training was held, the impact was that MSME partners experienced increased knowledge according to the target. The evaluation results at each stage of the activity, the showed that the post-teste increased 25% compared to the pretest score. In addition, the outcome of this activity is the ownership of a Google Maps account that has been optimized for each participant. Based on the indicators that have been measured, it can be concluded that this training mentoring activity is categorized as successful. The expected follow-up in the future is that partners can optimize the use of the Google Map application as an alternative media for promotion independently and sustainably. The hope is that the location of their MSMEs will be more easily accessible and known by the wider community. Partners are also advised not to hesitate to actively discuss with the Univet Bantara Community Service Team if they encounter obstacles.

Abstract

Purpose– This study examines the mediating role of workplace spirituality in the spiritual leadership influences on organizational commitment. Design/methodology– The research was carried out with a sample of 116 private employees in Indonesia and managed the survey method for the data collection technique, which employs questionnaires as the self-reported instrument. PLS uses statistical data analysis tools. Findings - The research findings indicate that spiritual leadership and workplace spirituality have a positive impact on organizational commitment. Furthermore, the results also reveal that workplace spirituality acts as a mediator in the influence of spiritual leadership on organizational commitment.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 mempengaruhi dunia bisnis melalui penurunan perekonomian serta aktivitas lintas sektor dan wilayah di Indonesia. Kondisi ini merugikan bagi para pemilik UMKM di berbagai bidang. Menyikapi kondisi tersebut, tim kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat mengusulkan untuk melakukan pelatihan pelaksanaan angket kepuasan konsumen secara online, dengan menggunakan software google formulir. Usulan ini disetujui oleh 10 pemilik UMKM di berbagai bidang di kawasan solo raya sebagai mitra pengabdian. Untuk menjawab permasalahan, tim PKM menyelenggarakan kegiatan pengabdian melalui 3 tahapan yaitu sosialisasi, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Tahapan pelaksanaan terbagi menjadi lima sub kegiatan yang terdiri dari mendesain angket dan format, mendesain teknik pengumpulan sampel dengan google formulir, mengelola data dengan google formulir, menginterpretasikan hasil, serta pengarsipan dengan aplikasi google drive. Hasil evaluasi membuktikan bahwa di setiap tahapan kegiatan nilai tes akhir menunjukkan peningkatan sebesar 25% dibandingkan dengan nilai tes awal. Temuan ini mengindikasi bahwa mitra UMKM memperoleh peningkatan pengetahuan dan kecakapan sesuai harapan. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan ini dinyatakan berhasil.
