Abstract

This research trytoanalyzethe factors that influence the occurrence of underpricing in companies that go public. This study uses a more variable varies the financial and non-financial variables contained in the prospectus which is composed of the reputation of the underwriter, auditor reputation, firm size, financial leverage, return on assets (ROA) and return on equity (ROE). According to the results of previous studies, these variables generally tend to show a significant effect on underpricing in companies that go public. This research is ekspost facto (causal comparative). Sample selection method used was purposive sampling and sample used was 132 sample companies doing an Initial Public Offering on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2002-2012. This study uses regression testing models. Regression analysis showed that only the underwriter reputation significantly influence underpricing

Abstract

Jurnal ekonomi Bisnis dan kewirausahaan ini  Vol  III No 1 ini menghadirkan 6 artikel dari berbagai  Sub disiplin Administrasi bisnis. Artikel pertama berkaitan dengan  dunia kewirausahaan dengan judul  analisis faktor  dominan yang bergaruh terhadap  keberhasilan berwirausaha pada sarjana Universitas Sahid Surakarta, artikel ini merupakan hasil penelitian  dengan metode kuantitatif yang dilakukan oleh Kohar Sulistyadi, Nugroho B Sukamdani. Penelitian tersebut memperjelas bahwa minat sarjana USS dalam berwirausaha masih rendah. beberapa indikasi menunjukkan bahwa karakter wirausaha dari para sarjana maupun mahasiswa USS belum sepenuhnya memahami atas jiwa kewirausahaan yang dicanangkan sebagai Visi dan Misi USS, sehingga perlu usaha keras untuk membangun persepsi dan memperkuat program bisnis center atau inkubator bisnis di lingkungan USS. Artikel kedua berkaitan dengan fenomena underpricing pada perusahaan yang go public di Indonesia, oleh peneliti Purwanto, Sri Wahyu Agustiningsih, Salman Faris Insani dan Budi Wahyono.  Dimana IPO (Initial Public Offering) merupakan salah satu alternatif pembiayaan yang dapat digunakan oleh perusahaan yang telah go public yaitu dengan melakukan penerbitan saham baru untuk dijual di pasar perdana sebelum diperdagangkan di pasar sekunder (bursa efek). Artikel Ketiga adalah Potensi Pariwisata Dalam Perekonomian Indonesiaoleh Agung Nurmansyah. Sedangkan artikel keempat adalah Profitabilitas Perbankan Syariah, Kun Ismawati dan Nurhayati.  Artikel tersebut menganalisis pengaruh Size, Total Equity to Total Assets, Total Loans to Total Assets, dan Total Deposits to Total Assets terhadap ROA (Return on Assets) pada Perbankan Syariah MI dan SM di Indonesia. Artikel terakhir yaitu Pendekatan Supply Chain Management Untuk Meningkatkan Daya Saing Pada Bisnis Bunga Segar oleh Rusnandari Retno Cahyani.

Abstract

Abstract

Masdar Farid Mas’udi berpendapat bahwa pemikiran dan praktik zakat di kalangan umat Islam berangsur-angsur ditandai oleh tiga kelemahan dasar dan sekaligus menjadi ciri pokok yang saling berkaitan, Di sisi lain, Yusuf Al Qordhowi berpendapat mengenai zakat perlu ada reskontruksi dan pemaknaan ulang tentang bahasan zakat, sebagaimana beliau mengupayakan konsepnya yang digagas sesuai dengan kondisi sosial atau perkembangan zaman. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui dan mendapatkan gambaran tentang konsep yang di kemukakan oleh Yusuf Al Qordhowi dan Masdar Farid Mas’udi tentang Zakat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pustaka, Analisis data menggunkan kontent. Zakat yang dikemukakan Yusuf Al Qordhawi dan Masdar Farid Mas’udi merupakan suatu bentuk rekonstruksi wacana agama yang berusaha untuk mengintegrasikan realitas sosial dalam agama Islam. Zakat merupakan kewajiban yang tidak bisa ditawar, atas orang yang telah memiliki kemampuan tertentu, menunaikan bukan atas dasar suka, kalau perlu bahkan bisa dengan paksa. Objek yang dikenakan zakat, Nabi menetapkan bahwa zakat dikenakan atas: jiwa (Zakat Fitrah) dan semua jenis harta kekayaan yang dimiliki masyarakat dimana zakat ditetapkan (Zakat Mal).

Abstract

Strategic management plays a crucial role in the development of co-working spaces and virtual offices, especially in navigating an increasingly competitive market. This study aims to examine the implementation of strategic management in the context of Jofter Group as a provider of co-working and virtual office services. The research method used is a literature review, analyzing strategic management theories, success factors in service-based businesses, and relevant case studies. The findings indicate that the success of strategic management implementation in Jofter Group depends on strategy formulation, operational implementation, as well as evaluation and adaptation to market changes. The implications of this study can serve as recommendations for co-working and virtual office managers in optimizing their business strategies.

Abstract

Jakarta's office sector faces oversupply challenges and fierce market competition, compelling organizations to pursue differentiation strategies via ethical business practices. This research investigates how business ethics influences customer loyalty through customer satisfaction as a mediating factor within Jakarta's office market environment. The study utilized a quantitative methodology via survey technique involving 100 office space users selected based on minimum service usage criteria of once. Linear regression analysis and Sobel Test were employed for data examination to assess mediation impacts. Findings revealed that business ethics positively and significantly influences customer satisfaction (? = 0.889, p < 0.001) and customer loyalty (? = 0.771, p < 0.001). Customer satisfaction demonstrated positive and significant impact on customer loyalty (? = 0.820, p < 0.001). Mediation analysis verified customer satisfaction's role in connecting business ethics with customer loyalty (z = 6.047, p < 0.001). Business ethics serves as a crucial element in fostering customer loyalty through both direct pathways and enhanced customer satisfaction. These results offer strategic guidance for office facility managers to emphasize ethical business value implementation as a competitive strategy in addressing market challenges.

Abstract

The digital transformation era has brought new opportunities for the creative economy sector, yet not all entrepreneurs have fully embraced its potential. This study aims to explore how digital literacy and business sustainability influence the growth of the creative economy, with entrepreneurial attitude serving as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach with SEM-PLS analysis was applied, using data from 256 MSME actors in the creative economy across Jabodetabek. The findings reveal that entrepreneurial attitude plays the most dominant role in fostering creative economic development. Business sustainability also has a significant impact, both directly and indirectly, through entrepreneurial attitude. In contrast, digital literacy exerts a relatively smaller effect but becomes meaningful when mediated by entrepreneurial behavior. The study highlights the importance of cultivating entrepreneurial character alongside digital and sustainability training. Given the study’s geographic and sample limitations, future research is recommended to expand to broader regions and explore additional variables such as innovation and government policy support.
