Abstract

This study discusses the “Personal Selling as a means of product promotion label. The purpose of this study wanted to know Personal selling activities, the use of social media in marketing the product label, and the need to study the behavior of consumers Sales Representative to support the activities of Personal Selling. The theory used is the theory of Marketing, Personal Selling and Theory of Symbolic Interaction. This research was conducted at PT. National Label Umas Daya and as a key informant was four sales representatives who work as personal selling. Researchers used the case study method with qualitative approach and data collection techniques are in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The results of the study, in doing marketing, sales representatives have done the stages of personal selling as a promotional tool in marketing the product label as expected. The use of internet and social media to support marketing activities.

Abstract

In the era of convergence, as now, technological changes are developing quite rapidly, so that the desired information can be obtained quickly. In the virtual world, the name Cyber Law is known from the term Cyberspace Law which includes several legal subjects in it by using digital technology that can be utilized by the public at large. The development of human thought towards technological progress has provided many positive aspects for human life, but technological progress has also brought its own problems, especially in the aspect of crime. Technological advances can also be utilized by criminal (cyber) perpetrators in completing evil intentions. The impact or effect of this cyber law is felt by all levels, especially in the world order of the mass media. Where the real world is almost replaced by the virtual world. The presence of the cyber era makes human relations no longer hindered by distance and time. All information and news can be accessed by everyone without any obstacles. This is where a new chapter of life begins and the mass media inevitably flocks into a new world called cyberspace. Therefore, there is a need for a standard that regulates the freedom and use of facilities in cyberspace. Because cyber law is the solution to legal uncertainty in cyberspace.

Abstract

The research was conducted on two Real Story FTV titles entitled "My Wife Is Like a Loaner Sucking My Money" and "My Feelings Are Being Played by My Husband". The research objective was to find out how gender is represented in Real Story FTV. This study uses a qualitative approach, with the method of critical discourse analysis model of Norman Fairclough. The analysis was divided into three stages, but the ones used in this study only reached the Text analysis stage (Micro level). The results of the study concluded that gender representation in the two FTV titles Real Stories is represented unequally, and causes gender bias. Many women are labeled as materialistic, money-crazed, usurpers, and men are labeled as someone who is unfaithful. The conclusion is that the media, through the FTV TV Show Real Stories, still represents gender unfairly, causing gender bias among the public to be difficult to eliminate.

Abstract

Abstract The rapid development of information technology, especially the internet, has triggered intense competition between radio stations to maintain their existence. In the current digital era, the convergence of radio media cannot be avoided, traditional media must be able to survive amidst increasingly fierce competition in the broadcasting industry to expand audiences and obtain advertising. This happened to Radio Cosmo Visual, which is considered to have implemented media convergence practices. This research aims to explain the application and impact of radio media convergence in an effort to maintain existence in the digital era. The research uses a case study type of research with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews and document analysis. Based on the results of the analysis, the results of this research show that Cosmo Visual Radio applies 3M, namely multimedia, multichannel and multiplatform in its convergence, where information is presented in various formats ranging from photos, video, text and audio and information is not only delivered via radio broadcasts but uploaded. via social media and can be accessed via various devices. The impact of this convergence practice includes expanding audience reach and attracting the interest of potential advertisers, so that Cosmo Visual Radio can take advantage of the convergence era to maintain its existence in the digital era. Keyword: Convergence; existence; radio. Abstrak Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang begitu pesat khususnya internet, memicu persaingan ketat antar radio untuk mempertahankan eksistensi. Di era digital saat ini konvergensi media radio tidak dapat dihindari, media tradisional harus dapat bertahan di tengah persaingan industri penyiaran yang semakin ketat untuk memperluas audien dan mendapatkan iklan. Hal tersebut terjadi pada Radio Cosmo Visual yang dianggap sudah menerapkan praktik konvergensi media. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan penerapan dan dampak dari konvergensi media radio dalam upaya mempertahankan eksistensi di era digital. Penelitian menggunakan jenis penelitian Studi Kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, hasil penelitian ini bahwa radio cosmo visual menerapkan 3M yaitu multimedia, multichannel, dan multiplatform dalam konvergensinya, dimana informasi tersajikan dalam berbagai format mulai dari foto, video, teks, dan audio dan informasi tidak hanya disampaikan melalui radio siaran akan tetapi diunggah melalui sosial media dan dapat diakses melalui berbagai perangkat. Dampak dari praktik konvergensi tersebut antara lain memperluas jangkauan audien dan menarik minat calon pengiklan, sehingga radio cosmo visual dapat memanfaatkan era konvergensi untuk tetap mempertahankan eksistensi nya diera digital. Abstract

The use of digital surveys is becoming increasingly important in collecting customer satisfaction data, especially in the competitive garment accessories industry. However, the limited representation of respondents in digital surveys remains a challenge. This study aims to explore the factors that influence customer satisfaction, focusing on product quality, service speed, and feedback systems. A qualitative approach with a case study method is applied to understand customer experiences in depth. Data were collected through an online survey focusing on key aspects of customer satisfaction and analyzed descriptively. The findings show that product quality is a key factor in customer satisfaction, while service speed and a responsive feedback system become more important for new customers. Although digital surveys are effective in capturing customer perceptions, bias can occur due to the limited representation of customers less familiar with digital technology. These results align with findings in other industries, which show the importance of service quality and responsive interactions in building customer satisfaction. However, a multi-channel approach is recommended to improve respondent representation in digital surveys. This research provides insights into the factors that affect customer satisfaction in a digital context and recommends a multi-channel survey strategy to improve the validity and representativeness of the results.

Abstract

The ability to create teamwork is determined by one's leadership competence. The application of leadership must be conditionally adjusted to circumstances or conditions that frequently change. Leadership also speaks about the behaviour of the leader in question. Regarding leader behaviour and leadership can be seen through the path goal theory of leadership. The aim of this research is to discuss Path-Goal Theory in communication studies or research, especially in studies of organizational communication and leadership. This theory is considered a path-goal theory because it focuses on how leaders influence followers' perceptions of work goals, self-development goals, and the paths needed to achieve goals. The path goal leadership model states the importance of the leader's influence on subordinates' perceptions of work goals, self-development goals, and paths to goal achievement.

Abstract

In disseminating information, many schools still use traditional methods, verbally and in writing, but these methods are considered less effective, because the reach of the information is limited and the information is received slowly. This happened at Cipeundeuy State Elementary School. Through the social media account creation program carried out by students at the Teaching Campus, the aim is to convey school information much more effectively. The research method in this journal uses a descriptive method by looking at the dissemination of information at Cipeundeuy State Elementary School. The research used qualitative data, data collection was carried out through observation and interviews. Based on the activities that have been carried out, the implementation of this social media creation program goes through several stages starting from observation, interviews, presentation of the program to schools and then implementation. It can be concluded that the social media account, namely Facebook, as a school information medium at Cipeundeuy State Elementary School has been successfully created by displaying features in the form of news, photos and school activities.

Abstract

Abstrak            Pengembangan buku panduan sebagai program pengabdian masyarakat yang bertujuan meningkatkan efektivitas pengelolaan humas di MTs Manba'ul. MTs Manba'ul Huda menghadapi kendala dalam pengelolaan humas akibat kurangnya panduan resmi dan struktur yang terorganisir. Program ini berupaya mengatasi masalah tersebut dengan mengembangkan buku panduan humas yang praktis dan menyelenggarakan sharing session bersama koordinator humas Mts Manba’ul Huda. Metode yang diterapkan dalam program ini adalah pengabdian masyarakat, melibatkan observasi, penyusunan buku, dan sharing session.  Observasi dilakukan untuk mengidentifikasi kebutuhan nyata di lapangan. Buku panduan disusun berdasarkan kebutuhan dan teori hubungan masyarakat yang menekankan pentingnya komunikasi strategis, membangun hubungan positif dengan publik, dan membangun citra positif lembaga.  Sharing session bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan buku panduan dan meningkatkan pemahaman stakeholder tentang pengelolaan humas yang efektif. Program ini berhasil menghasilkan buku panduan humas yang dibagikan kepada koordinator MTs Manba'ul Huda. Program ini mendorong peningkatan efektivitas komunikasi, membangun kesadaran tentang pentingnya peran humas, dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk keberlanjutan program humas di MTs Manba'ul Huda. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan Buku Panduan, Humas Sekolah, Pengelolaan Humas.  Abstracts MTs Manba'ul Huda faced challenges in public relations management due to the absence of an official guideline and the lack of a clear organizational structure. To address these issues, a community service program was implemented focusing on the development of a practical public relations (PR) handbook and the organization of a sharing session with the PR coordinator of MTs Manba'ul Huda. This program adopted a community service approach, consisting of field observations, handbook development, and the implementation of a sharing session. The observation phase aimed to identify the real needs of the school in managing its PR activities. The handbook was developed based on the findings from the observations and grounded in PR theories that emphasize the importance of strategic communication, building positive relationships with the public, and creating a strong institutional image. The sharing session was intended to introduce the handbook to stakeholders and enhance their understanding of effective PR practices. As a result of this program, a comprehensive PR handbook was successfully developed and distributed to the school’s PR coordinator. Overall, the program contributed to improving communication effectiveness, raising awareness of the importance of public relations, and offering recommendations for the sustainability of PR initiatives at MTs Manba'ul Huda.  Keywords: Guidebook Development, School Public Relations, Public Relations Management.
