Abstract

Textbooks are one of the most important teaching materials in the learning-learning process, especially for teachers who are still lacking in making their own teaching materials. Standard textbooks have aspects including content, language, presentation and graphics. The presentation of textbooks is one of the four criteria for the eligibility of textbooks. A good presentation of textbooks will also have a good impact on learning. The feasibility of the presentation in this study includes three stages, namely: presentation techniques, presentation support, and coherence and coherence in the flow of thought. The purpose of this study is to describe and explain the feasibility analysis of presenting Indonesian language textbooks for class XII 2013 curriculum published by the Ministry of Education and Culture 2018. This book is used by high school students.

Abstract

This research was conducted to look at language abnormalities in the character Angel in the film A Song for God. In addition, this research was conducted to find out how Angel character communicates with the people around her. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative analysis. The technique used is the technique of observing and noting. The data in this study are the words or sentences uttered by the character Angel in the film A Song for God, while the source of the data in this study is the film A Song for God. The results of the study found that the words or sentences spoken by Angel sounded nasal and unclear. When viewed from phonological utterances, there are several dominant phonemes that sound unclear, such as phonemes /k/, /n/, /d/, /g/, /t/, /ai/, /i/, /y/, and the word "create" sounds like "snap". In her daily life, the character Angel uses sign language and reads lip language and pays attention to someone's body movements when communicating.

Abstract

Penguasaan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi perlu melahirkan inovasi-inovasi baru. Keterampilan berbicara sangat diperlukan agar tidak mengalami kendala dalam berkomunikasi dalam menyampaikan gagasan. Hal ini menjadikan keterampilan berbicara sebagai salah satu indikator dalam kurikulum nasional mata pelajaran Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia dari tingkat sekolah dasar hingga tingkat perguruan tinggi. Terampil berbicara merupakan sebuah keharusan dalam berkomunikasi yang baik. Salah satu bentuk keterampilan berbicara ialah bisa menjadi pemandu acara di depan umum. Memandu suatu acara memerlukan latihan dan strategi. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat di SMPN 1 Tualang dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan praktis memandu acara, baik di lingkungan formal maupun nonformal. Kegiatan PkM dalam bentuk pelatihan ini dilaksanakan pada 22 September 2023, selama 1 hari di SMPN 1 Tualang kepada 32 peserta. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelatihan sebagai pemandu acara dapat meningkatkan kemampuan keterampilan berbicara siswa melalui berbagai teknik, sikap yang tepat, dan penggunaan bahasa yang baik dalam menyusun gagasan untuk tampil di depan umum.
