Abstract

This research is related to belief or culture in Seloliman village, Trawas sub-district, Mojokerto regency; it is Ceremonial Water in Jolotundo Petirtaan. Clifford Geertz assumed that culture as networks did not constitute an experimental science to look for the law but it was the interpretative science to look for meaning and symbol. This study used descriptive qualitative methods in which researchers attempted to describe written or oral words from observable people or behaviour. The findings indicated that culture or belief in the modern era was still applied because a culture or belief had symbol and meaning for people who believe it.

Abstract

This study evaluates the evolution of investment governance and its implications for financial market integrity through a structured policy analysis of International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Bank for International Settlements (BIS) reports issued between 2015 and 2025. Employing a mixed qualitative–quantitative content analysis, the research constructs comparative governance indicators capturing prudential orientation, digital finance regulation, artificial intelligence integration, and sustainability risk supervision. The findings reveal a structural shift in global regulatory discourse from stability-centered post-crisis consolidation toward an integrated framework that incorporates crypto-asset oversight, algorithmic supervision, and climate-related financial risk management. While the IMF prioritizes macro-financial surveillance and systemic resilience, the BIS advances granular supervisory standards and technical implementation mechanisms. The results indicate increasing convergence in strategic objectives alongside differentiated institutional pathways. Financial market integrity emerges as a multidimensional governance outcome shaped by transparency regimes, risk quantification tools, and cross-border coordination. The study contributes a novel comparative index-based evaluation framework and advances theoretical understanding of how global economic governance adapts to technological disruption and sustainability transition pressure.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology has transformed how community organizations communicate, foster participation, and disseminate information to the public. The Aliansi Air Majapawitra Association, a community group dedicated to water resource conservation in Mojokerto, faces challenges in boosting public engagement with its various educational programs and environmental initiatives. This community service project aimed to develop digital information media by optimizing the *aliansiair.com* website and the @aliansi_air_majapawitra Instagram account, serving as platforms for communication, education, documentation, and public interaction. The project methodology encompassed identifying the organization's digital communication needs, content design, website feature development, social media management support, and an initial evaluation of audience response. The results indicate that the developed digital media strengthened the organization's identity, improved access to information regarding water conservation programs, facilitated public access to activity documentation, and encouraged interaction through more structured educational and visual content. The website serves as the organization's information hub, while Instagram functions as a faster, more interactive channel for message dissemination. This development of digital information media contributes to expanding the reach of environmental communication and enhancing opportunities for public involvement in the water resource conservation movement.

Abstract

This article analyzes the Ngunduh Patirtan Jolotundo ritual as a community-based water conservation system rooted in local wisdom in Mojokerto Regency, and examines its potential as the academic basis for a Regent’s Regulation on Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) designation. The study employs a normative-empirical approach integrating literature review, field study, juridical analysis of regulatory hierarchies, and comparative analysis with similar ICH practices across Indonesia. The Ngunduh Patirtan ritual effectively functions as a communal water conservation mechanism through its procession of collecting water from 33 springs on Mount Penanggungan. The tradition possesses robust philosophical, sociological, and juridical foundations for designation as Mojokerto’s ICH. This is the first study to systematically integrate the spiritual-ecological, legal, and public policy dimensions of the Ngunduh Patirtan tradition into a unified analytical framework as a basis for local regulation.
