Changes in learning methods, especially as a medical students, greatly affect the learning process, including student perceptions and student learning motivation. Methods:This is an observational analytic research using a cross-sectional approach conducted at the Faculty of Medicine Batam University in November 2021. A total of 90 students were analyzed through a simple random sampling method. The spearman test was used to determine the correlation between student perceptions to online learning methods and student learning motivation. Results:The spearman test result showed a significant correlation between student perceptions to online learning methods and student learning motivation, with p value = 0,000 (p<0,05). Conclusion:According to the results of this research, it can be concluded that there is a correlation of perception to online learning methods with student learning motivation in Medical Study Program Students In Batam University.

Abstract

Background: Snail mucus (Achatina fulica) contains achasin protein which can inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella typhi bacteria. This study aims to determine the effect of snail mucus (Achatina fulica) on the growth of Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella typhi bacteria. Methods:This research is an experimental research using Posttest Only Control Group Design as the research design. This research was conducted at the Microbiology Laboratory, Riau University, from December 16, 2021 to January 11, 2022. The population of this study was pure culture of Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella typhi. The sample consisted of 30 snails which had previously been adapted for 1 month. The negative control group was only given distilled water, the positive control group was given amoxicillin, treatment group 1 was given snail slime with a concentration of 30%, treatment group 2 was given snail slime with a concentration of 60%, and treatment group 3 was given snail mucus with a concentration of 90%. The result of this research will be analyzed using statistical test, ANOVA. Results:There is an inhibition of snail mucus (Achatina fulica) against the growth of Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella typhi bacteria. The most effective results in inhibiting the growth of Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella typhi bacteria is at a concentration of 90%. Conclusion:Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that snail mucus (Achatina fulica) can significantly inhibit the growth of Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella typhi bacteria.

Functional disorders experienced by post-stroke people are one of the factors that are independent in carrying out activities. Efforts to restore limbs is to do rehabilitation. Method : This research method is pre-experimental analytic with a one group pretest posttest study approach which was carried out at Santa Elisabeth Hospital Batam City in December 2021. The sampling technique was total sampling with a sample of 50 respondents. This research was conducted by collecting medical record data. Data analysis using Wilcoxon signed rank test. Results : The results of this study were 50 respondents who took part in the medical rehabilitation program, found 1 respondent who experienced a decrease in the level of independence, there were 23 respondents who experienced an increase in the level of independence, and there were 26 respondents who did not experience a decrease or increase in the level of independence. The results of the bivariate analysis of the Wilcoxon signed rank test showed that there was a significant effect between medical rehabilitation programs on the independence of ischemic stroke patients (p = 0.000). Conclusion : Based on this research, it is concluded that Hᴏ is rejected and Ha is accepted or there is a significant influence between the Medical Rehabilitation Program on the Independence of Stroke Patients at Santa Elisabeth Hospital, Batam City

Abstract

The data is the primary data from the questionnaire. Data analysis using univariate and bivariate analysis. Results: Based on the results of the chi-square correlation test, a p value of 0.016 (p < 0.05 was obtained). The p value from this data analysis obtained a value of 0.016 (p < α) so that it shows that there is a relationship between work posture and MSDs complaints in laundry workers in Batam City District. Conclusion: Based on the results of the chi-square correlation test, a p value of 0.016 (p < 0.05 was obtained). thus showing that there is a Relationship Between Work Posture and MSDs Complaints on Laundry Workers in Batam City District 2023.
