Abstract

Technological progress is a challenge for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to continue to survive. Information technology, especially social media, is very useful for MSMEs to improve their marketing. This industrial visit was conducted to identify the use of social media and its benefits to MSMEs in the West Karawang region. This industrial visit is an observational industrial visit with a descriptive method and combines it with interviews. This industrial visit aims to get an overview of the use of social media in MSMEs and its benefits for the development of MSMEs. The results of this industrial visit show that the most widely used social media are Facebook and WhatsApp, apart from social media, websites are also used by most MSMEs for marketing. Social media is an effective communication medium for MSMEs, can increase income  and open resellers for consumers who want to resell these products. The use of social media can increase sales volume by more than 100% if done consistently and updating information every day. The conclusion from this industrial visit, social media has the potential to increase market share and sales volume, so it needs to be used optimally and consistently.

Abstract

Our purpose is to conduct an industrial visit to KR Vape Karawang to find out about the use of social media by KR Vape Karawang to promote its business ventures. The method we use is descriptive and observative by collecting some of the data we got from KR Vape and interviewing several questions about social media conducted by KR Vape Karawang. The results of the visit that we know from KR Vape by using Instagram as a platform for utilization (social media) by sharing several product posters and video advertisements. In this way, KR Vape can promote its products more effectively and efficiently without having to waste time and spend excess funds on marketing their business (digital marketing). The discussion we are conducting is contextual which is more directed at how KR Vape markets most of its products on social media (Instagram).

Abstract

The Jaya Subur Makmur rice factory is a food processing plant founded by Mr. Abdul Muhyi in 1986. In terms of Supply Chain Management (SCM) studies, one of the root problems in the post-harvest rice commodity business is distribution problems. The low accessibility of commodity availability information for stakeholders results in the distribution process not going well, resulting in frequent accumulation of commodities and commodity vacancies on the other side. The aim of the study was to find out how to evaluate the performance of rice supply chain management at the Jaya Subur Makmur rice factory. This research is classified as a qualitative type using primary data from interviews and direct observation..

Abstract

The aims of this visit is to understand the pricing determination used by Candu Koffie Business in Lemahabang. The visit method used is the description and observation method, which aims to explain the company's condition based on existing facts and information obtained to acquire knowledge and draw conclusions about the current situation. The type of data used is primary data sources through direct interviews with the business owner and documents. Candu Koffie is located on Kedawung Street, No.3 Lemahabang. The results of the visit show that Candu Koffie initially did not accurately calculate production costs, and certain costs were also not included in the cost of goods sold. Candu Koffie considers production costs such as raw material costs, labor costs, and overhead costs. However, they do not include costs such as electricity, water, and other discount costs in determining the selling price of their products and sales. This visit provides valuable insights, especially in the food and beverage industry, to develop effective pricing strategies. With a better understanding of the factors that influence appropriate pricing.
