Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model discovery learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di kelas IV SD Negeri 11 Pontianak Kota. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pre-Experimental Design dengan desain One-Group Pretest-Postest Design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 29 siswa. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebelum menggunakan model discovery learning sebesar 43,36 dan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan model discovery learning sebesar 69,52, terjadi peningkatan sebesar 26,16. Dari hasil uji hipotesis (uji-t} diperoleh thitung sebesar 9,89 dengan taraf signifikan = 5% diperoleh ttabel sebesar 1,701. Karena thitung 9,89 > ttabel 1,701, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ha diterima. Artinya model discovery learning berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam di kelas IV SD Negeri 11 Pontianak Kota. Dari hasil perhitungan Effect Size (ES) adalah sebesar 1,72 termasuk klasifikasi tinggi. Kata kunci: Discovery Learning, Hasil Belajar, IPA Abstract: The purpose of this research was to know the influence of discovery learning model toward students’ achievement in learning science on the grade IVth of SD Negeri 11 Pontianak Kota. The method of this research was Pre-Experimental by using One-Group Pretest-Posttest design. The samples of this research were 29 students. The average score of students before implementing discovery learning model was 43,36, and the average score of students after implementing discovery learning model was 69,52. The improvement of students’ score was 26,16. Based on the hypothesis test (t-test), obtained that t was 9,89 the significant level was = 5% obtained that the t tabel was 1,701. Because of the that t count 9,89 > t table 1,701, it could be concluded that Ha was accepted. It means that discovery learning model influenced toward students’ achievement in learning science on the grade IVth of SD Negeri 11 pontianak.
