Abstract

Curriculum writing is one of the language skills that must be mastered by lower grade elementary school students in accordance with the competency standards demanded by the curriculum. In fact, there are still many students who have not mastered the skill of writing tembung (upright cursive) because some students write with tembung which is very complicated, so that only a few skilled students are able to achieve the KKM. The development of tebung teaching materials is an alternative to improve the writing skills of elementary school students. The purpose of this study is "Describe the analysis of student writing tebung in the development of teaching materials in elementary school". This study uses the Design and Development (D&D) method which was carried out at SDN 01 Gayamsari Semarang and SDN 02 Rejosari Semarang, the research subjects were 88 first grade elementary school students, 2 content or material expert lecturers, 1 design expert lecturer and 2 lower grade elementary school teachers. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews with homeroom I, distribution of teaching material validation questionnaires developed by researchers to expert lecturers and elementary school teachers. The data collected through the distribution of questionnaires were then analyzed using a Likert Scale. The results of the research on writing student tembung are still below the KKM. The teaching materials developed resulted in a product in the form of a writing guide book with the results of product trials, namely Very Good so that it was feasible to use.

Abstract

Kegiatan pelatihan program pengabdian pada masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman guru terhadap ragam media pembelajaran berbasis TIK, dan meningkatkan keterampilan guru dalam membuat media presentasi dengan Sparkol Videoscribe. Dengan dapat menggunakan software ini, diharapkan untuk dapat mengemas materi pelajaran agar lebih menarik dan efektif perhatian siswa. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini membutuhkan waktu lebih kurang enam bulan, yang meliputi observasi dan diskusi awal, pembuatan media, pelatihan penggunaan media, pembuatan video dokumentasi, serta pembuatan laporan akhir. Pelatihan diberikan pada 14 orang terdiri dari delegasi masing masing tingkatan guru kelas dan beberapa guru mata pelajaran yaitu (2 orang guru kelas I, 2 orang guru kelas II, 2 orang guru klas III, 2 orang guru kelas IV, 2 orang guru kelas V, 2 orang guru kelas VI, dan 2 orang guru mata pelajaran melalui software. Metode yang dipilih yaitu ceramah dengan teknik presentasi materi, diskusi, dan praktik pembuatan media oleh peserta. Dari kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan dan pemahaman guru SD dalam merancang media Sparkol VideoScribe menjadi meningkat serta peserta memberikan penilaian positif dalam penyelenggaraan pelatihan.

Abstract

This study aims to produce an interdisciplinary based mathematics teaching module on the independent curriculum in class I SD Negeri 01 Kalikudi that meets the valid, practical, and effective criteria. This type of research is development. The development research model used is the 4-D development model which defines, designs, develops, and disseminates. This research was conducted in the even semester of the 2022/2023 academic year. The research instruments included validation sheets, practicality sheets (teacher and student response questionnaires) and effectiveness sheets (pre-test and post-test questions). In the validation process, the module was validated by 1 material expert, 1 design expert and 1 linguist. In the practical process, the module was tried out by 1 teacher and 25 students. Based on the results of the research, the development of interdisciplinary based mathematics teaching modules in the independent curriculum in grade I SD produced modules that met very valid criteria with a vote percentage of 90.29%, met practical criteria with a percentage of 85.66% and met high effectiveness criteria with a percentage. of 0.71. So, it can be concluded that the mathematics teaching module based on the interdisciplinary based mathematics teaching module on the independent curriculum in grade I SD is valid, practical and effective as a resource in learning Mathematics in grade I Elementary School.
