ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the relationship between sweet beverages, unhealthy food, and zero vegetable or fruit consumption with nutritional status in undernourished children aged 6-23 months. This quantitative analytical observational study utilized a cross sectional design. The research subjects were mothers and children aged 6-23 months with undernutrition at the Bandarharjo Health Center and Tambak Aji, Semarang City in January 2024 with a population of 55 people. The technique used to take non- random cluster sampling samples. The statistical tests used are the Pearson correlation test and the chi-square test. The results of the study found that there was a relationship between UFC and nutritional status of BW/TB (p=0.002 and r=-0.410), BW/U (p=0.000 and r=-0.509), and TB/U (p=0.001 and r= -0.431), but there is no correlation between SwB and BB/PB (p=4.048), BB/U (p=1.618), and PB/U (p=1.930). And there was no correlation between ZVF and BB/PB (p=0.587), BB/U (p=3.632), and PB/U (p=1.105). The results showed that there was no relationship between zero vegetable or fruit consumption and BB/U (p=0.0551), BB/U (p=0.912), and PB/U (p=0.598). Excessive consumption of unhealthy food will cause inadequate food intake and will affect the nutritional status of toddlers.
