Abstract

This study aims to describe the concept of fitrah as a paradigm of Islamic education according to the Koran. This qualitative research uses the descriptive-analytical method. All data from written materials related to the variables will be discussed and relevant. The concept of fitrah is a character, temperament, origin, religion, and all inherent potential, which is a gift from Allah Swt. Every human child born from his mother’s womb will always be accompanied by nature as the basis for personality formation in living his life. Human psychological components related to nature include human structure (physical, spiritual, nafsani, heart, reason, and lust), al-hayah (vitality), al-khuluq (character), al-sajiah (skills or talents), heredity (heredity), intuition (the ability to receive inspiration from god) and al-amal (behavior).

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) Know the description of needs analysis in blended learning at the Islamic University of Makassar;2) Produce products in the form of model books and blended learning tools that are practical and effective to increase the effectiveness of learning at the Islamic University of Makassar. The subjects of this study were students and lecturers of the Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Islamic University of Makassar. The research and development procedure used is a 4-D (Four-D) model: Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The data collection techniques are observation, interviews, tests, questionnaires and documentation. The research instrument uses an instrument to observe the implementation of learning, a test instrument for assessing student learning outcomes, and a validation sheet for learning tools. The data analysis technique is carried out using; 1) analysis of the level of practicality and effectiveness; 2) analysis of student and lecturer response data. This study's results show the need to develop a blended learning model to increase the effectiveness of high-level learning. The practicality and effectiveness test results state that this model has proven to be very practical and effectively used based on the results of observations of learning implementation and questionnaires of lecturer and student responses.

Abstract

The aspects of characteristic-based learner development are three dimensions that must be considered during the learner development process.The three dimensions are: 1) The cognitive aspect, which includes the development of thinking, reasoning, and understanding skills. This aspect aims to develop learners' abilities to process information and solve problems. 2) Affective aspects, which include the development of one's feelings, attitudes, and emotions. This aspect aims to develop learners' abilities to control and manage their emotions and form a positive attitude towards themselves and others. 3) Psychomotor aspects, which include the development of a person's physical abilities, including muscle coordination, speed, and strength. This aspect aims to develop learners' abilities to perform various physical activities, such as sports, arts, and work. The development of these three aspects is necessary so that learners can become physically and mentally healthy individuals and be able to adjust to their environment.

Abstract

This study aims to improve speaking skills through sociodrama learning methods in students of the Faculty of Islamic Religion, University of Muhammadiyah Kendari. This classroom action research uses the Kemmis and Taggart models with two cycles. This study involved 44 students. Observation techniques, speaking skills tests, interviews, and documentation were used to collect data. The data are analyzed descriptively based on the characteristics of the data obtained. The results showed that learning speaking skills using the sociodrama method could improve the speaking skills of students of the Faculty of Islamic Religion in semester V of Muhammadiyah Kendari University. Improvement of speaking skills using the sociodrama method, namely (1) the average value of speaking skills in the first cycle of 75.4% increased by 10.2% from the pre-action value of 65, and the percentage of completion increased by 16.% from the pre-action percentage of 41% to 56.7%, (2) the average value of speaking skills in cycle II of 78.3 increased by 15.3 from the pre-action value of 65, and the percentage of completion increased by 36% from the pre-action percentage of 41%  to 78%.
