Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan langkah-langkah pengembangan bahan ajar matematika dengan pendekatan kontekstual dan metode penemuan terbimbing serta mendeskripsikan kualitas hasil pengembangan bahan ajar tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan tahap utama meliputi: (1) investigasi awal, (2) desain, (3) realisasi, (4) uji coba, evaluasi dan revisi, serta (5) implementasi. Aspek kevalidan bahan ajar dan komponen pendukungnya ditinjau dari penilaian para ahli dan mencapai kriteria valid dengan kategori sangat baik. Aspek kepraktisan mencapai kriteria praktis dengan kategori sangat baik ditinjau dari observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran, penilaian oleh guru, dan penilaian oleh peserta didik. Aspek keefektifan telah tercapai ditinjau dari tes ketercapaian kompetensi, angket EQ dan SQ peserta didik. Hasil uji coba lapangan menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari 80% peserta didik telah mencapai KKM dan persentase banyak peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran mengalami peningkatan pada kategori  minimal tinggi dan minimal sangat tinggi untuk angket EQ dan SQ. Penelitian ini menghasilkan bahan ajar matematika dan komponen pendukungnya, meliputi silabus, rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), dan modul matematika yang valid, praktis, dan efektif, serta tes ketercapaian kompetensi (TKK) yang valid, praktis, dan reliabel. Kata kunci: pengembangan, bahan ajar, pendekatan kontekstual, penemuan terbimbing, EQ, SQ, akselerasi  DEVELOPING MATHEMATICS INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIAL USINGCONTEXTUAL APPROACH AND GUIDED INQUIRY METHOD TO INCREASE EQ AND SQ OF ACCELERATION STUDENTS IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL Abstract This research is aimed to describe steps of developing mathematics instructional material using contextual approach and guided inquiry method and describe the quality of the developed product. This research is a developmental research with the main steps cover (1) preliminary investigation, (2) design, (3) realization/construction, (4) test, evaluation, and revision, and (5) implementation. The result of validation by expert jugdement shows that the instructional material that is developed is of valid criteria of very good category. The aspects of practicality was of practice criteria of very good category as seen from the implementation of the learning, evaluation by the teachers, and evaluation by the students. The aspect of effectiveness could be reached from the students’ achievement and EQ and SQ questionnaire. The result of the test shows that more than 80% of the student achieve the minimum score and percentage many of students who are at a high minimum and very high minimum category increase on EQ and SQ questionnaire. The research produced mathematics instructional material and supporting components, consisting of valid, practical, and effective syllabuses, lesson plans, mathematics module, and the valid, practical, and reliable of test. Abstract

Jika dilihat dari data PISA tahun 2018, Indonesia berada pada posisi ke-72 dari 79 negara dalam bidang matematika. Salah satu alasannya adalah penjelasan yang abstrak dan sulit dipahami anak, sehingga sangat penting untuk diberikan pendekatan CTL atau kontekstual yang menghubungkan materi dan contoh secara langsung dengan dunia nyata di lingkungan sekitar siswa. Sehingga penjelasan materi mudah dipahami oleh siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pendekatan CTL terhadap minat belajar lulusan kelima MI Addiniyah Jiyu pada mata pelajaran matematika materi pengolahan data. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan desain kontrol satu kelompok dengan sampel 18 siswa dari semua kelas V. Penelitian ini menggunakan angket dan pertanyaan dalam pengumpulan data selama penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang telah dilakukan peneliti dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat pengaruh pendekatan CTL terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas V MI Addiniyah jiyu pada pelajaran matematika pada materi pengolahan data. Artinya, jika uji-t sampel berpasangan kuesioner dan pertanyaan menghasilkan nilai Sig (2-tailed) 0,05, maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima.

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that must be given since children are at the elementary school level up to college. However, mathematics is not much in demand by students, and mathematics is considered a difficult subject for the majority of students. This is reinforced by research conducted by TIMSS 2015 which illustrates that Indonesia is in the bottom 6th position, as well as the results of PISA 2018 which show rank 70 out of 78 countries. Some of the causes of this are the lack of variety and abstract mathematics learning, and this is contrary to the concrete way of thinking of elementary school students. The Indonesian Realistic Mathematics Learning Approach (PMRI) is an approach that can lead students to think from concrete situations to mathematical concepts by developing practical, logical, critical, and honest thinking patterns. PMRI also makes students understand problems in everyday life. The research aims to find out how effective PMRI is on the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-graders infractions at MIN Setia Bhakti Trawas. This type of research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental method by taking the subject using a purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study use tests. The results of the study using the N-Gain score test showed that the average N-Gain score for the PMRI class was 52.92%, which was included in the quite effective category. Meanwhile, the average N-Gain score for the control class is 27.44%, including the criteria for being not effective.

Abstract

The background of this study is the low student activity which has an impact on the learning outcomes of class V students in mathematics subjects. The purpose of this study is to improve learning activities and mathematics learning outcomes of class V MI Pancasila Gondang students through a cooperative learning model of the Student Teams Achievement (STAD) type. This study used a Classroom Action Research (PTK) design consisting of two cycles. Research data in the form of student learning activities is obtained through observation during learning, while student learning outcomes are obtained through tests at the end of each cycle. The results showed that student activity in cycle I was 56% then in cycle II increased to 85%, classical student learning outcomes in cycle I were 52% with an average student score of 66, then increased to 86% with an average student score of 76 in cycle II. It was concluded that using a Cooperative Learning Model type of Student Teams Achievement (STAD) can increase the activities and learning outcomes of class V students in the material building materials at MI Pancasila Gondang.

Abstract

Technological developments also have an impact on the world of education. Teachers to be able to use technology to create learning that is fun, interactive and motivating. One of them is using a computer program, namely making interactive learning media for PowerPoint games. The purpose of this study is to determine the response of teachers and students as well as the effectiveness of interactive learning media PowerPoint game material cycle of living things in fourth grade students of SDI Asy-Syarif. This study uses Research and Development research using the ADDIE model, namely through the stages of analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation as research steps. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, expert validation, and questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used were validation sheet analysis, questionnaire analysis, and quantitative data analysis. The results of this study indicate how accurate material experts are 92%, media experts are 86%, and linguists are 97.7%. The validation results indicate that the PowerPoint game interactive learning media is very feasible to use. The results of student responses get a prize of 95.2% with a very good category while the results of the teacher's response get a prize of 82.5% with a good category to use. The quantitative data analysis shows an average of 60.60%. So it can be said that the PowerPoint interactive game learning media developed is very feasible, good for use and quite effective for improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Numeracy literacy can help improve counting with examples of problems that exist in everyday life. Thus, it can be seen that the existence of analytic knowledge has an important meaning in learning mathematics in order to reason and help students solve problems. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the factors that support and hinder the implementation of the digital literacy program to solve the problems of grade 5 students in the MIN case study. 2 Mojokerto. This research method uses a qualitative approach to data collection, using observation, interview, and note-taking techniques. Thus, it can be concluded that the implementation of this digit literacy program has been done well, which can help improve the math problem-solving ability of 5th-grade students through 3 steps, which is the familiarization phase with the activity. Read aloud 15 minutes before studying. beginning, the development phase of literacy activities, where students have the opportunity to present the results of group discussions to develop student skills, and the stage where teachers learn using interesting concepts and strategies so that students can complete material taught through arithmetic knowledge.

Abstract

The results of the PISA in 2018 where Indonesia take place 72th of 79th country. One of the factors is the learning that has not pay attention to aspects of students' mathematical reasoning abilities. RME approach is emphasize on creative thought process and involves student’s reasoning abilities.This research aims to determine the influence of the Indonesia’s Realistic Mathematics Education approach on mathematical reasoning abilities students grade V on geometry lesson. The type of this research is one group pretest posttest design. The population consisted of 86 student who sat in class IV, V and VI then selected 12 children from class V as a sample that was given treatment with the RME approach. Technique to collect data using tests, interview, and questionnaires.The results of data analysis showed that students' mathematical reasoning increased from a pretest score 64 increased at posttest to 80. Then using analyze of paired sample t-test with ? = 0.05 obtained tcount = 7.881 > ttable = 2.201 so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Then it can be concluded that the Indonesia’s Realistic Mathematics Education approach is influence to the mathematical reasoning abilities of students grade V on geometry lesson.

Abstract

The river problem faced by Mojosarirejo village, specifically in Pudo, is a problem for the last five years that has not been resolved properly. Rivers with lots of rubbish disrupt the irrigation process of rice fields. So it is necessary to carry out various analyzes to solve this problem. The method used is PAR, which includes several tools that are the focus of the discussion in this article, namely mapping, transectural, ranking, historical tracing, trend and change, and program strategy analysis. This Community service aims to facilitate community problems (in managing waste around rivers) which are obtained from the community and resolved by the community. With several analyzes and PAR methods used, program results were obtained consisting of four elements. First, there is cleaning of the river environment and education about waste management. Second, the existence of institutions or organizations and policies in waste management. Third, there is infrastructure such as trash cans as TPS. Fourth, there is literacy insight for the public regarding waste decomposition in the form of educational boards. The suggestion in this research is that the community can carry out the four programs initiated and have larger land as a landfill.
