Abstract

The condition of a developing country associates with other nations that have advanced economically. In an effort to catch up in the economic field, these countries must carry out various development programs. Farmers and underprivileged communities in the regions need assistance or funds that aim to empower them. The aim of this article gave the Assistance for Economic Independence through Making Fermented Animal Feed in the Cattle Farmer Community at Rejomulyo Sub-District South Metro, The researchers used Asset Based Community Development (ABCD), by conducting training to the farmers about the importance of utilizing the potential that exists in the environment. The result show that the community empowerment provides benefits in the form of increasing knowledge of the nutrients needed by livestock, high nutritional animal feed, increasing skills in making fermented hay feed through training activities both theory and practice. For the success of the service carried out, there was still need for further assistance to cattle breeders.

Abstract

Zakat, infaq and almsgiving is one of the worship in Islam to seek pleasure from Allah SWT. In Islam besides worshiping zakat, infaq and almsgiving are also effective solutions for poverty alleviation. Therefore a zakat, infaq and alms management body is needed which has a good management mechanism and has an optimal role in efforts to improve the economy in the community. LAZISNU Metro City was formed in order to maximize the management of zakat and maximize the increase in the economy of the community in Metro City. This research is a field research with theoretical, normative, pedagogical and philosophical approaches. Sources of data sourced from primary data obtained from the results of direct interviews and secondary data in the form of written information from the literature. Data collection through observation, documentation interview, triangulation and final stages is to draw conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the zakat management mechanism that exists in LAZISNU Metro City is quite good, but there are still some parts that are not maximal due to the obstacles faced. The role of zakat, infaq and almsgiving in an effort to improve the economy of the community in Metro City runs in the form of consumptive assistance and productive assistance. The implementation is carried out based on Islamic law and the Law. Therefore LAZISNU Metro City needs to continue to evaluate in order to achieve a maximum role in an effort to improve the economy of the community in Metro City.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Pesantren merupakan lembaga pendidikan tertua di Indonesia yang menyimpan potensi ekonomi tinggi, sehingga kemandirian ekonomi menjadi kebutuhan penting bagi pengembangan pesantren, seperti yang diterapkan Pondok Pesantren Darul Mustofa di Kabupaten Lampung Tengah melalui usaha budidaya jamur tiram. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan kemandirian ekonomi pesantren melalui budidaya jamur tiram dan menganalisisnya menggunakan analisis SWOT. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, dengan informan kunci pengasuh pondok pesantren yang sekaligus pemilik usaha jamur tiram, serta informan pendukung berupa santri dan masyarakat sekitar. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, serta diuji keabsahannya melalui triangulasi data. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemandirian ekonomi Pesantren Darul Mustofa diwujudkan melalui pemberdayaan aset manusia yang memberdayakan santri dan masyarakat, aset modal keuangan melalui lokasi usaha dan modal dari pemilik usaha, serta aset sosial yang memengaruhi nilai dan sikap hidup sehat melalui kandungan gizi jamur tiram. Kesimpulan: Analisis SWOT menunjukkan usaha berada pada posisi growth, dengan strategi peningkatan produksi, penambahan karyawan, inovasi, dan optimalisasi hasil. Implikasi praktis penelitian ini menegaskan perlunya pelatihan sumber daya manusia yang sistematis, penguatan kemitraan pembiayaan syariah, dan perbaikan fasilitas produksi bagi Pondok Pesantren Darul Mustofa maupun pesantren lain dengan karakteristik usaha serupa guna memperkuat kemandirian ekonominya.
