Abstract

A phenomenon that has been seen during the fact that most teachers do not carry out their obligations as they should due to having different educational backgrounds, the ability of children who are lacking with a background low socioeconomics and demands on the fulfilment of administrative completeness as a teacher receiving a professional certification. This activity aims to strengthen the responsibility of teachers as a profession, especially religious teachers.  This method of service activity uses a   Participation Action Research (PAR) approach through socialization, training and mentoring to teachers, especially in aspects of faith, morals, physical, and intellectual improvement of students,  student psychology and society. The target of this activity is the total number of teachers who teach Ibtidaiyah Madrasah at The Kasih Sayang Foundation, which is  20 teachers.  The instrument in this activity uses a pre and post-test questionnaire while the difference test uses a Wilcoxon test with p = 0.001. There is a change in the   responsibility  of teachers of Islamic religious education after this activity ends

Abstract

The main sources of Islamic references are the Qur'an and Hadith. These two sources of law provide encouragement to each individual to always try to increase the potential in him, both the potential is beneficial for life in this world and beneficial for life in the hereafter. With the ultimate goal of achieving behavior change, motivation is needed. Motivation is one of the elements that encourage a person to need to increase his potential. Motivation has an important role and determines a person's success in achieving the goals he sets or realizing his hopes. This research uses literature research (library research) or literature research with a qualitative approach, that data comes from books, journals, books, and other scientific writings. In collecting data used documentation techniques. The sources of data collected in this study consisted of primary and secondary data sources. The primary data from this research are several verses of the Qur'an, the hadith of the prophet and the book of interpretation. The secondary data in this study are in the form of supporting documents in this study such as books, articles, and journals. Extrinsic and intrinsic motivation have a positive influence as an individual driver in developing his potential. There are several verses of the Koran and the hadith of the prophet contained in it extrinsic and intrinsic motivation.

Abstract

Many parents do not care about learning the Al-Qur'an for their children. Most parents are more concerned with general subjects such as tutoring English, mathematics, and physics. Meanwhile, learning the Al-Qur'an is neglected. This research aims to assist parents and children in learning the Al-Qur'an in Neighborhood 09, Rengas Pulau Village, Medan Marelan District. This community service activity uses the PAR (Participatory Action Research) method. With this method, community service participants try to assist the community to solve existing problems. Community contribution is needed in this activity because it is hoped that after this activity, the community can stand independently in religious empowerment and overcome issues. To assist the community in dealing with existing problems activities to strengthen Al-Qur'an reading and writing were held for parents and children. This community service research results show positive changes in parents and children alike. Among them is their awareness of the importance of studying the Al- Qur'an, filling their time with useful things, and the community's enthusiasm for good things. Overall the KKN activities carried out by STAI As-Sunnah students went well. With the existence of this KKN activity, it can reduce the problems that exist in the midst of the community

Abstract

This study aims to find out the history and planning of learning in improving teacher performance at Madrasah Aliyah Modern Islamic Boarding School, Batang Quiz District.As for the research method used, this type of research is qualitative research, namely field research, with the aim of explaining the phenomenon as deeply as possible through collecting data as deeply as possible. Methods of data collection techniques by way of observation, interviews and document studies, data sources, data analysis and scrutinizing the validity of the data refers to qualitative research.The final results of this study indicate that 1) Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Modern Mawaridussalam is a Madrasa that has only been established since 2008, around 14 years old. From 2010 to 2022 the Head of Madrasah Aliyah Aliyah Private Mawaridussalam has been occupied by two people, namely: 1) Nurrokhman, SH., MM, period 2010-2015, and 2) Arief Persada Lift, S.Pd.I., MM, period 2016 – present. 2) Planning of learning activities in improving teacher performance in the Deli Serdang district Private Madrasah Aliyah, namely the Mawaridussalam Private Madrasah Aliyah is carried out by involving teachers to compile all of these programs, while the planning programs are, a) Learning implementation plans, b) Plans for learning approaches and methods , c) Planning for learning tools or media, d) Planning for learning evaluation, e) Planning for preparing a Learning Implementation Plan (RPP), f) Planning for hiring teachers/teachers, and g) Planning for teacher development.

Abstract

The purpose of this community devotion program is as follows: 1) improve the ability to read the Qur'an and memorize Surah Al-Kahfi verses 1-7, 2) teach theory and practice in the implementation of prayer, as well as 3) provide the theories and introductions about mahram to pupils at the middle school level. The method used in community service at the An-Najah Foundation is Community-Based Research (CBR), a collaboration between the community and higher education institutions, with an action-oriented approach and application of service learning to support social movements to create social justice. The results of this activity in the first cycle show that most students still have difficulties understanding and following the activities carried out because the materials taught are still new to them. However, after the second cycle, the results show that: 1) average students can read the Quran and memorize Surah Al-Kahfi paragraphs 1-7, 2) average students understand the theory and practice of prayer, and 3) average students have an understanding of the theories and knowledge of Mahram.
