Abstract

There are several factors that encourage the development of clinical supervision for teachers. The factors are supervisors only conduct teacher evaluations, implementation is not centered on teacher needs, general and abstract teacher ability assessment tools, feedback provided in the form of directions, instructions, instructions and does not touch on the problems faced by teachers. Clinical supervision is a service and assistance to teachers with a personal human approach so that teachers can find themselves and be able to improve learning. The purpose of this research is to describe the professional coaching of Christian Education teachers through clinical supervision at Citra Bangsa Christian High School Kupang. The research method used is qualitative with descriptive. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques through data reduction, data presentation and conclusion/verification. The results showed that the professional coaching of Christian Education teachers through clinical supervision at Citra Bangsa Christian High School Kupang is a supervisory activity carried out by supervisors, principals / deputy principals of curriculum by means of individual techniques, classroom observations, and private conversations with Christian Education teachers. This is done through the stages of planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Then, the obstacles faced in the professional coaching of Christian Education teachers through Clinical Supervision at Citra Bangsa Kupang Christian High School include: lack of clinical supervision time, teachers are less prepared and disturbed because they are not used to clinical supervision, assessment of Christian Education teachers only formatively, in the process of teaching and learning some teachers have not used media tools, and teachers are limited in the ability to develop social media.Ada beberapa faktor yang mendorong dikembangkannya supervisi klinis bagi guru-guru. Faktor tersebut yaitu supervisor hanya melakukan evaluasi guru, pelaksanaan tidak berpusat pada kebutuhan guru, alat penilaian kemampuan guru umum dan abstrak, umpan balik yang diberikan berupa arahan, petunjuk, instruksi dan tidak menyentuh masalah yang dihadapi guru. Supervisi klinis merupakan layanan dan bantuan kepada guru dengan pendekatan manusiawi secara personal agar guru dapat menemukan dirinya sendiri dan mampu meningkatkan pembelajaran lebih baik. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan pembinaan profesional guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen melalui supervisi klinis di SMA Kristen Citra Bangsa Kupang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu kualitatif dengan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembinaan profesional guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen melalui supervisi klinis di SMA Kristen Citra Bangsa Kupang merupakan sebuah kegiatan pengawasan yang dilakukan oleh Pengawas, kepala sekolah/wakil kepala sekolah bidang Kurikulum dengan cara teknik perorangan, observasi kelas, dan percakapan pribadi terhadap guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen. Hal ini dilakukan melalui tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, monitoring, serta evaluasi. Kemudian, hambatan yang dihadapi dalam pembinaan profesional guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen melalui Supervisi Klinis di SMA Kristen Citra Bangsa Kupang antara lain: kurangnya waktu supervisi klinis, guru kurang siap dan terganggu karena belum terbiasa disupervisi klinis, penilaian guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen hanya secara formatif saja, dalam proses belajar mengajar sebagian guru belum memakai alat media, serta guru terbatas kemampuan dalam mengembangkan bahan ajar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pendekatan dan teknik program supervisi di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri (MIN) Pahandut Palangka Raya serta respons guru terhadap supervisi yang disusun dari pengawas sekolah. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif fenomenologis. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisa data melalui tiga tahap yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data dan kesimpulan. Pengecekan keabsahan data yaitu dengan kriteria kredibelitas dan konfirmabilitas.Hasil penelitian menemukan penyusunan program supervisi akademik dilakukan secara bersama-sama oleh pengawas madrasah dan guru PAI di sekolah umum dengan dikoordinir oleh koordinator pengawas. Teknik supervisi yang digunakan yaitu teknik kunjungan kelas, percakapan pribadi pengawas dengan guru dan rapat antara pengawas, kepala madrasah dan para guru. Pendekatan supervisi yang digunakan oleh pengawas sekolah antara lain: pendekatan ilmiah, pendekatan artistik dan pendekatan klinis. Respons guru sangat positif terhadap pelaksanaan supervisi akademik oleh pengawas.

Abstract

This research paper serves as a forum for community service, with the objective of benefiting the State Vocational High School 2 Palangka Raya. At the same time, it strives to advance knowledge empowerment in Christian religious education. The beneficiaries of this program are educational actors, including teachers, principals, and students, who participate in the construction of spiritual and competent relationships among community engagement participants. The authors' methodology is an Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach that prioritizes the resources available at the school for the development of PAK learning media. The results obtained by the authors during approximately three months of meeting and befriending the students provided a sustainable perspective on the issues raised by reading books relevant to the PAK themes. Furthermore, the authors identified the opportunity to be creative with school resources as a potential avenue for interdisciplinary collaboration in education at SMK Negeri 2 Palangka Raya.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk kerja-kerja penguatan kapasitas pembelajaran melalui kreativitas pembuatan pohon literasi sebagai bagian dari konten modul, pemantapan komunikasi melalui presentasi dan diskusi di dalam kelas, dan kepercayaan diri peserta didik mengambil bagian dalam pelayanan (praktik aplikatif atas teori yang disajikan di sekolah melalui panggung sekolah, keluarga, masyarakat dan gereja). Metode penelitian yang peneliti aplikasikan adalah metode ABCD atau Asset Based Communities Development dengan memfokuskan pada aset, penemuan, refleksi, harapan dan design kegiatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya penguatan karakter peserta didik dalam hal kepercayaan diri mengambil bagian dalam kerja-kerja kreatif pembuatan alat peraga (salah satunya pembuatan pohon buah-buah roh) untuk mempermudah pencerapan materi pembelajaran sekaligus sebagai bahan pengingat pentingnya buah-buah roh dalam kehidupan sehari-hari sebagai bagian dari harapan Kristus dan masyarakat global. Selain itu, hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perkembangan secara berkelanjutan melalui ruang evaluatif pembelajaran setiap proses pertemuan dengan adanya kebijakan-kebijakan atas tema-tema pembelajaran dalam bentuk presentasi dan dialog antar peserta didik

Abstract

Background. Higher education is faced with the challenges of global change which requires innovative curriculum adaptations. In this context, this research aims to develop practical guidelines for higher education institutions in implementing curriculum changes by utilizing artificial intelligence (AI). Purpose. The aim of the research is to develop practical guidelines for higher education institutions in order to implement innovative curriculum changes and responsive to global change. Method. Research methodology uses a quantitative approach with survey design. Identify key variables, including students’ understanding of AI, preferences for AI learning methods, and their views on its impact on the learning experience. The research process involved developing a comprehensive survey instrument with questions designed to gain in-depth insight into student perceptions. The research sample consisted of 20 respondents from higher education program students who were randomly selected. Surveys can be carried out online or through face-to-face interviews. Results. Data analysis involves statistical methods, including descriptive analysis, categorization, and coding to identify patterns in student responses. The survey results reflect a positive level of understanding (70%) and confidence (80%) of students in the role of AI in improving the quality of learning. There is a group that is neutral (20%), indicating the need for further understanding. Conclusion. The survey results create a comprehensive picture of student perceptions and preferences for AI in higher education. Most respondents showed positive acceptance of this technology, with about half expressing a preference for learning involving AI. Overall, this research provides a foundation for higher education institutions to design effective communication and expectation management strategies to ensure optimal acceptance and participation in AI implementation.

Abstract

Background. Collaborative learning is increasingly being implemented in elementary schools as an alternative to increase student creativity and motivation. However, the challenges and obstacles in its implementation need to be considered to understand its impact on learning effectiveness. Teachers should have many methods to make students happier and receive lessons well Purpose. This research aims to investigate the effect of the collaborative learning model on increasing student creativity and motivation at the elementary school level in West Sumatra. The main focus is to understand teachers’ perceptions of this model, identify the obstacles faced, and evaluate its effectiveness. Method. The research method used was a quantitative survey with 20 teachers from several elementary schools in West Sumatra district as respondents. Data collection was carried out through distributing questionnaires designed to measure teachers’ perceptions of the collaborative learning model, as well as its impact on student creativity and motivation. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman approach.   Results. Analysis of the questionnaire results showed that the majority of teachers (75%) strongly agreed that the collaborative learning model had great potential to increase student creativity and motivation. However, the main challenge identified was the limited time in the established curriculum. Conclusion. Although the collaborative learning model is considered effective, teacher support and understanding needs to be improved through additional training. Strategic adjustments are also needed to overcome the constraints of time constraints and individual evaluations, as well as to understand more deeply differences in student skill levels. Overall, this learning model has great potential in increasing student motivation and creativity in elementary school, provided it is expanded and better supported by educators.
