Abstract

The aim of this study to improve student critical thinking in immune system lesson using the different characteristic of multimedia. There are four characteristics of multimedia to compare in this study such as text (long text an short text), narration (yes or no), sound effect (yes or no), sparkle in animation of multimedia (yes or no).  This study is using the static group pretest-posttest design.  Which compare two type of multimedia that have a different characteristic to improve student critical thinking.  This study is to involved 66 student of science high school attending 11th grade.  They were devided two class; experimen-1 (n=31) and experimen-2 (n=3).  Data was collected from pretest and posttest on immune system lesson.  The result of this study shown that multimedia type 1 could improved student critical thingking on immune system lesson Kata kunci: Karakteristisk multimedia, berpikir kritis, sistem pertahanan tubuh

Abstract

Everybody have a responsibility for their enviroment to kept clean. Human population as a important part of environment problems.  All activity that human do will produce the rubbish, and it makes big persentage to contribute to make enveroment will be dirty in this world.  Because everybody will produce about 1 Kg for day and, a half ton every years.  Bad management it makes negative effect for human healty.  And good management will be good solution for enveroment problems, as spacial rubbish.  Introducting rubbish management to children under five years its mean to solve a problems for logtherm.  Basicly kindergarthen cant read well.  So that, the way to introducting use a banner media. By this way, a little word an many picture will make they understand abbout the message for manage the rubbish.   When this way were appicated in five school, not only student was interset to this media (banner) but, a parents who attend their also enthusiast to following this activity.  Kata kunci:Pengenalan pengelolahan sampah, media banner.

Abstract

This study aimed to obtained material learning based on inquiry integrated character values environmental care. This study uses a model of research is RnD. The result of this research show that the quality of material learning based on inquiry integrated character values environmental care is value validation of material expert is  90%, design experts is 86 875% and science teacher at 94.74%. material learning based on inquiry-based integrated character values environmental care should continue to be revised in order to obtain better results.Kata Kunci: Bahan ajar, inkuiri, peduli lingkungan

Abstract

This research was held in order to contribute in mapping of the students’ critical thinking while they were taking Instructional Design (DesainPembelajaran) as their subjects. The implementation of this subject used Cooperative Learning Model to form their critical thinking. The scores in this research were obtained through some tests which were taken at the end of the lecture. Meanwhile, the study implementation was collected using the observation sheets. As results, the students’ critical thinking was mapped into three groups; they are upper, middle, and lower groups. The numbers respectively were 22.45%; 51.02%; and 26.53%. Furthermore, the upper group’s students also gained the highest scores in the observed implementation. It is revealed that the discussion during the Learning Cooperative study was able to form the students’ critical thinking. Keyword: Critical thinking skill, cooperative learning.

Abstract

This research aims to (1) determine the plant species of the Arecaceae family in the forest area of the Way Kambas SPTN II Bungur National Park (Resort Toto Projo) East Lampung Regency, (2) determine the plant diversity index of the Arecaceae family in the forest area of the Way Kambas SPTN II Bungur National Park (Resort Toto Projo) East Lampung Regency, (3) Find out whether the results of the research are suitable or not to be used as a Biology learning resource in the form of Student Worksheets based on Discovery Learning. The type of research used was descriptive qualitative, with a purposive sampling method combined with line transects. The results found from this research were 15 species from 294 individuals. The results of the overall calculation of the diversity index for the Arecaceae family in the Way Kambas SPTN II Bungur National Park Forest Area (Toto Projo Resort) show a figure of 2.4871, including the medium category. Validation of learning resources is carried out by 5 validators including material expert validation, design validation, and language validation. The validation results from material experts got a score of 81%, validation from design experts got a score of 82%, and validation from language experts got a score of 78%. The feasibility of the Student Worksheets based on Discovery Learning product that was created obtained an average score from all validators, namely 80%, namely with good criteria, and was declared valid and suitable as a student learning resource.

Abstract

 Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat tentang penyuluhan urban framing ini dilakukan di komunitas cabe jawa lampung Kelurahan  Margorejo, Metro Selatan, Kota Metro. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat adalah untuk menguatkan minat, motovasi, dan pengetahuan peserta pemberdayaan urban farning cabe jawa lampung. Metode yang diteraopkan adalh penyuluhan pengetahuan tanam cabe jawa lampung dan simulasi budi daya cabe jawa lampung. Hasil yang diperoleh sebagi dampak dari kegiatanpenyluhan dapat dirinci antara lain: kumulatif persentase minat peserta dalam program tanam cabe jawa sebesar 89,6%, dengan rincian: meningkatkan penghasilan (98%), mendapatkan bimbingan (98%), mantap menjadi peserta (94%), sebagai solusi meningkatkan kesejahteraan (94%), dan menjadi agen produksi (64%). Kumulatif persentase motivasi peserta dalam program tanam cabe jawa sebesar 90,8%, dengan rincian: memperoleh informasi dari teman (98%), berkeinginan dari diri sendiri (98%), secara sukarela bergabung  menjadi peserta (90%), sebagai peluang usaha (90%), dan menjadi gemar belajar (82%). Kumulatif persentase pengetahuan peserta dalam program tanam cabe jawa sebesar 61,2%, dengan rincian: peserta sudah mengenal cabe jawa (76%), mengetahui manfaat cabe jawa (72%), mengetahui adanya komunitas cabe jawa di Kota Metro (66%). Aspek yang belum banyak diketahui oleh peserta penyuluhan antara lain: cara bertanam cabe jawa (52%) dan cara mengolah cabe jawa (40%).

Abstract

Era modern saat ini, penggunaan teknologi di kelas sangat membantu proses pembelajaran. Salah satu teknologi yang digunakan dalam pembelajaran adalah video pembelajaran untuk membantu siswa lebih memahami ide-ide abstrak. Tujuan dari riset ini adalah untuk membuat video pembelajaran sains yang akan diajarkan kepada siswa kelas tujuh di SMP Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Metro tentang zat dan perubahannya tersebut berubah. Model ADDIE, yang terdiri dari lima Langkah yitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi adalah metodologi penelitian dan pengembangan yang digunakan. Kuesioner angket respon siswa dan lembar kuesioner validasi yang memverifikasi kesesuaian media dan materi adalah alat yang digunakan untuk mengukur kevalidan dan respon siswa terhadap media video pembelajaran yang dikembangkan. Rumus uji Aiken digunakan untuk menentukan keabsahan ahli media dan materi. Tiga validator ahli media yang berbeda menghasilkan validasi media sebesar 0.86 (validitas sangat tinggi) dan tiga validator ahli materi menghasilkan validasi materi sebesar 0.87 (validitas sangat tinggi). Uji coba dengan 27 siswa yang menjadi subjek penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa 86.36% respon siswa termasuk dalam kategori "sangat baik". Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dikatakan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran berupa video pembelajaran tentang zat dan perubahannya sangat valid dan dapat direspon positif oleh siswa kelas VII SMP Muhammadiyah Ahmad Dahlan Metro.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the feasibility, produce a design, and assess the practicality of using IT-based summative assessment in differentiated physics learning. The developed product consists of an IT-based summative assessment in Quizizz for questions and Google Forms for assessment rubrics (poster and video). The research adopts the ADDIE model. The valid user practicality response sheet has an average of 0.93 and a reliability coefficient of 80%. The student practicality response questionnaire results indicate an average of 88.06% with a convenient category. The summative assessment in the form of test items yields an average of 77.77, with 45% of students achieving this score. The summative assessment in the form of a poster yields an average of 82.86, with 35% of students achieving this score. In contrast, the innovative video summative assessment results in an average of 88.75, with 20% of students achieving this score.

Abstract

Against the background of the limitations of learning media in facilitating the learning needs of students, as well as the importance of critical thinking skills and science literacy in facing global challenges. The independent curriculum is an approach designed to meet the learning needs of students flexibly, but still requires the active role of teachers in conveying essential concepts, so the development of SSI-based e-LKPD is expected to be an effective learning innovation to develop students' critical thinking skills and science literacy. The purpose of the study is to measure the effectiveness of SSI-based e-LKPD on environmental pollution materials on students' science literacy and critical thinking. The use of the liveworksheet application is used for interactive learning media. This type of research is quasi-experimental design with the one group pretest-posttest design method. The research was conducted in grade VIII of junior high school in Tanggamus district with a total of 128 students. Data analysis uses n-gain test and t-test. The results of the analysis obtained an n-gain of 33 in the control class and 53 in the experimental class. This value is in the range of 40-55 with the category of less effective. Furthermore, the results of the t-test showed a significant difference between the control and experimental classes (p<0.05); reject H0, thus that SSI-based e-LKPD is effective in improving critical thinking skills and science literacy of junior high school students.

Abstract

Advances in digital technology, particularly the use of podcasts, open significant opportunities for innovation in learning design. This study explores podcast-based learning in the context of teaching thesis proposals for science education students, reviewed from theoretical, philosophical, and evaluative perspectives. Using a literature review and descriptive analysis, various models of podcast-based design were examined with attention to pedagogical and technological dimensions. The findings show that this approach is grounded in constructivist, cognitive, and connectivism learning theories. Philosophically, it reflects progressivism and social constructivism, emphasizing experiential learning, independence, and collaboration. Evaluation results highlight the potential of podcasts to strengthen cognitive abilities, including conceptual and analytical understanding, as well as 21st-century skills such as critical thinking, communication, creativity, and collaboration. The study concludes that podcast development in higher education must align with instructional design principles tailored to student needs and course characteristics. Further research is needed to develop flexible models and assess their long-term impact on students’ academic performance. Importantly, the outcomes provide practical implications for integrating podcasts into science education curricula and for creating evaluation systems that measure higher-order learning outcomes.
