Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of Flexible Working Hours (FWH), Employer Branding (EB), and Social Media (SM) on Job Application Interest (JAI) among Generation Zoomer in Surakarta. Using a quantitative explanatory approach, the research involved 121 respondents selected through non-probability purposive sampling. Data were collected via online questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS software. The results show that FWH has the most significant effect on job application interest, followed by the effects of Employer Branding and Social Media, although their contributions are smaller. The model explains most of the variability in job application interest, indicating that these factors have strong relevance in predicting the interest of Generation Zoomer in applying for jobs. This study provides valuable insights for companies in designing policies that attract potential employees, particularly Generation Zoomer.

Abstract

Engaging in financial transactions (muamalah) must adhere to sharia principles to ensure ethical and just practices, particularly in modern innovations such as PayLater systems. This study aims to analyze the alignment of PayLater transactions on Indonesian e-commerce platforms with sharia business principles. The research adopts a qualitative design with literature study approach. Data were collected through documentation methods, including journals, articles, and websites. The analysis was conducted using the Miles and Huberman model, involving three stages: data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that PayLater transactions in Indonesian e-commerce platforms are largely inconsistent with sharia business principles. These inconsistencies include the presence of riba (usury) in the form of interest-based charges, gharar (uncertainty) in unclear contractual terms, violations of ba’i (trade ethics), and a lack of fairness in penalty structures. The study highlights the need for reforming PayLater systems to ensure compliance with Islamic principles and foster ethical financial practices.

Abstract

Employee performance plays a crucial role in supporting the effectiveness of public services, particularly in the healthcare sector. This study aims to examine the influence of individual characteristics, team collaboration, and work skills on employee performance at Walikukun Public Health Center (Puskesmas Walikukun). The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey method involving 104 respondents selected through a saturated sampling technique. The research instrument was developed based on theoretical indicators and has been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method with the assistance of SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results show that all three independent variables have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Individual characteristics have a path coefficient of 0.219 (p-value = 0.004), team collaboration 0.376 (p-value = 0.000), and work skills 0.352 (p-value = 0.000). Among these, team collaboration exerts the most dominant influence. These findings underscore the importance of fostering a collaborative work culture and enhancing individual capacity as strategies to optimize employee performance. The practical implications of this study can serve as a reference for health center management in designing competency-based training programs and strengthening teamwork within the workplace.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of digital marketing, service quality, and product quality on customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction as a mediating variable, at the La Moda del Gelato culinary business in Solo. The background of this research is based on the shift in young consumer behavior, who are increasingly relying on digital technology for purchasing activities, and the importance of positive experiences in shaping customer loyalty. This study used a quantitative method with a Partial Least Squares (PLS) approach using SmartPLS 3.0 software. The sample size was 200 respondents aged 15–30 who were active customers of La Moda del Gelato Solo. The results show that digital marketing, service quality, and product quality have no direct effect on loyalty, but they have a significant indirect effect through customer satisfaction as a mediating variable. Thus, customer satisfaction is proven to be a key element in fostering young customer loyalty. This research provides important implications for culinary businesses to focus more on improving service and product quality, as well as digital marketing strategies that can create satisfaction and memorable experiences for customers.
