Abstract

The integrated Islamic curriculum as one of the educational programs has a strategic role in forming, building, fostering and directing students to become good people who have positive character and personality, self-understanding, skilled and teamwork.This research aims to obtain documents related to the management of planning, implementation, evaluation of integrated curriculum at SMPIT Luqmanul Hakim Bandung. The method used in this research is descriptive analytic method with a qualitative approach. The data obtained by using interview, observation and documentation study. The finding of this research are first, planning for integrated Islamic curriculum carried out by compiling the curriculum, formulating for lesson planpreparation by put in the characteristics of an integrated Islamic curriculum. Second, the implementation of an integrated Islamic curriculum refers to planning that has formulated by put in the verses of the Qur’an in the lesson plan. Third, evaluation is carried out in order to know the success of students.

Abstract

Menarik untuk dibahas hasil belajar mahasiswa calon guru IPA yang menempuh mata kuliah Cahaya dan Penglihatan cenderung rendah. Lebih dari separuh mahasiswa gagal meraih predikat B. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif yang berupaya untuk mendeskripsikan jenis-jenis kesulitan mahasiswa Pendidikan IPA dalam menyelesaikan persoalan. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester lima Pendidikan IPA FKIP Universitas Jember tahun ajaran 2019/2020 semester gasal berjumlah 83 mahasiswa. Analisis dengan menampilkan tabel distribusi frekuensi, Histogram, Means, Varians, Standar Deviasi dan Angket. Sebanyak 68% mahasiswa memiliki rentang nilai 51-70. Varians dan Standar deviasi rata-rata semua kelas masing-masing sebesar 29 dan 5,5. Faktor penyebab rendahnya nilai belajar adalah kurang siapnya dalam menghadapi Ujian tengah dan Akhir Semester. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh nilai rata-rata nilai UTS berkisar antara 54-61 dan UAS sebesar 66-71. Nilai UTS dan UAS sangat berpengaruh karena memiliki porsi 60% dari nilai akhir. Menurut observasi, mahasiswa kesulitan mengerjakan soal hitungan dan berbahasa Inggris.

Abstract

This research investigates the factors that influence pre-service science teachers' conceptualization of STEM education. The factors involved STEM self-efficacy, STEM anxiety, science content knowledge, and mathematics content knowledge. The survey method was utilized in this research to collect a huge number of respondents at one time. The participants were 604 pre-service science teachers in Indonesia with different backgrounds (physics Education, biology education, chemistry education, Ingrate of Science education, and primary school education). The instruments were developed and share with participants using a google form to avoid the items that the participant did not fill in. The data analyzed using STEM showed that science content knowledge, STEM self-efficacy, and STEM anxiety were influencing the conceptualization of STEM education. This research suggested that to improve the quality of STEM education in the classroom. Pre-service science teachers should understand the concept of the content taught

Abstract

This research aims to examine the effect of the GI-GI (Group Investigation-Guided Inquiry) learning model on the learning outcomes and problem-solving skills of junior high school students in science instruction. The type of research used is quasi-experimental (quasi-research), including quantitative analysis. The research sample was selected using the purposive sampling technique; the samples obtained were class VII B as the experimental class and VII C as the control class from SMP Negeri 3 Rambi Puji. Data collection techniques consist of tests, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique of this study used the Independent Sample T-test. The results of this research are the GI-GI (Group Investigation-Guided Inquiry) learning model has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of junior high school students. Furthermore, the GI-GI (Group Investigation-Guided Inquiry) learning model significantly affects the problem-solving skills of junior high school students. Keywords: group investigation-guided inquiry, learning outcomes, problem-solving skills.

Abstract

Every companys goal is to make their stock holder prosperous by giving them dividend, capital gain, also the investor will add their money for the company aiming to achieve a better performance. However, as the business grows in the last few years, most company responsible to pay attention more to the environmental impact as the effect of its company activities. This research using saturated sampling technique which sampling technique makes all members of the population sampled. Sample of this research are 20 state-owned corporation (BUMN) that listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) during 2013 2017. The type of data used is the secondary data, obtained from www.idx.co.id. The analytical method used in this research is analysis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) which combine simultaneous system of equations or path analysis. Based on the result shows that environmental performance and environmental costs have a negative effect on firm value.Keywords: Environmental Performnce, Environmental Cost, Firm Value.

Abstract

The implementation of STEM in Indonesia is still recently implemented before it was only a discussion of articles because there were challenges for teachers in its application. Therefore, this research was conducted to map all articles published online with the theme of implementing STEM education in Indonesia. This research method is carried out by summarizing articles from various reputable scientific journals. The next step in processing the reference sources obtained, namely the stage of collecting data, analyzing data, inferring the content of the data, and responding to the data scientifically. Five articles discussing STEM Implementation in Indonesia were selected using journal data from the keywords "implementation" + "Stem Education" + "Indonesia" were selected to capture and reach as many relevant studies as possible regarding the implementation of Stem Education in Indonesia. After the collection of article data, the findings of the study are summarized, identified, and then presented quantitatively as well as descriptively. The results showed that teachers' skills and knowledge are still relatively low in applying STEM-integrated science learning. In addition, teachers lack knowledge of the digital resources that can be used to implement STEM-based science learning, teachers do not have the skills to create STEM-based learning tools, teachers do not have adequate insight into STEM-based learning, and lack of support for means/media/props to support STEM implementation. Therefore, stimulation and mentoring to students and teachers is needed so that STEM education can touch all fronts.

Abstract

The modification catalysts of layered double hydroxide (LDH) with polyoxometalate based on Keggin type were prepared and characterized using X-Ray, FTIR, and SEM to confirm the layered double hydroxide structure. Intercalation was successfully synthesized and showed a heterogeneous aggregate resulted from SEM analysis. The degradation parameters of LDH pristine and LDH composite were determined by observing a number of factors such as pH, catalyst weight, and degradation time. The modification material resulted by preparation material LDH and polyoxometalate (POM) successfully resulted in the lower band gap value compared to material pristine LDH allowing LDH polyoxometalate as photocatalysts to show good photocatalytic activities. The NiAl-SiW12O40 material had the highest percentage of degradation removing Congo Red up to 86% degradation when compared to another composite material, yet it was still significantly better than LDH pristine. The result showed that the LDH composite presented excellent photocatalytic activity in reducing Congo Red.
