Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of the Temanggung State Special School in dealing with blind children. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method with data sources obtained from Class Teachers and Administrative Staff. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. The data obtained in the field were then analyzed with the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification. The results of this study are schools in dealing with blind children, especially in this learning process by providing learning that adapts to the abilities and needs of students. The strategy used in the learning process for blind children with a scientific approach, in addition to the teacher's strategy, provides learning methods in the form of lectures, demonstrations, question and answer, and roleplaying. The learning tools used in the learning process are RPP (Learning Implementation Plan), Syllabus, Prota (Annual Program), Promes (Semester Program). The form of assessment carried out by schools for blind children is diagnostic, summative, and formative assessment. Other efforts provided by the school in supporting the learning process, the school provides extracurricular and co-curricular activities. Extracurricular activities provided are in the form of scout extracurricular activities, while co-curricular activities are carried out in the form of visits to temples or outing classes.

Abstract

Dengan adanya beberapa kasus permasalahan, kami melaksanakan sebuah penelitian guna mengoptimalkan hasil pembelajaran Mata pelajaran Matematika terhadap siswa kelas 4 SD Negeri Tampir Wetan dengan menggunakan media gambar . jenis penelitian yang peneliti lakukan merupakan Penelitian Tindak Kelas (PTK). Model penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan 2 metode yaitu Kemmis dan Taggart yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan penelitian, pelaksanaan penelitian, pengamatan dan refleksi. Penelitian yang kami laksanakan dilakukan dengan menggunakan 2 siklus. Dalam sekali pertemuan kami menerapkan satu siklus dengan media gambar pada saat pembelajaran Matematika. Kami mengambil nilai dari pengerjaan sebagai data yang kami peroleh. Jadi, dalam pengumpulan data kami menggunakan tekhnik tes atau pengerjaan. Kami menggunakan teknik analisis data kuantitaif dengan indikator keberhasilan 70% atau 7 anak yang sudah memperoleh nilai diatas KKM yaitu 70 . Hasl penilitian ini membuktikan bahwa dengan menggunakan media gambar dapat dalam pembelajaran matematika dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Pada siklus pertama yang dilakukan terdapat 50% atau 5 orang siswa yang mendapat nilai di atas KKM dan ada 50% atau 5 orang siswa yang mendapat nilai di bawah KKM. Pada siklus kedua hasil pembelajaran anak mengalami peningkatan dengan presentase 80 % atau sebanyak 8 anak yang memperoleh nilai di atas KKM dan 20% atau sebanyak 2 anak yang memperoleh nilai kurang dari KKM, akan tetapi memiliki nilai yang hampir mendekati KKM.
