Abstract

Pada hakikatnya tujuan pendidikan Nasional tidak boleh melupakan landasan konsepsual filosofi pendidikan yang membebaskan dan mampu menyiapkan generasi masa depan untuk dapat survive dan berhasil menghadapi tantangan diwaktu yang akan datang . Seharusnya pendidikan harus berdampak pada watak manusia. Karakter yang budi luhur bukanlah bawaan sejak lahir secara natural juga tidak dapat diwariskan, melainkan harus di bentuk secara sadar dengan proses yang sangat panjang, salah satu proses itu dapat dipengaruhi oleh tripusat pendidikan yakni, dipengaruhi oleh lingkungan keluarga, lingkungan sekolah, dan lingkungan masyarakat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang bertempat di MI Nahdlatul Ulama’ Sumbergempol Tulungagung. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara , observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan pengumpulan data dan menarik sebuah kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa, keluarga merupakan lingkungan pertama dan utama , anak akan meniru segala perilaku lingkungan keluaraga, karena itu peran keluarga menjadi peran penting dalam membentu karakter siswa, lingkungn sekolah menjadi faktor kedua , lingkungan sekolah memberi pengaruh besar pridadi anak karena anak banyak menghabiskan waktu di lingkungan sekolah, faktor ketiga di penelitian ini adalah lingkungan masyarakat karena masyarakat adalah tempat anak hidup dan bergaul.

Abstract

The various kinds of obstacles occur in the learning process during the pandemic. One approach to solving learning problems is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The purpose of this study is to describe the urgency of CAR to improve the quality of learning in the new normal. This research method is descriptive and qualitative. The research subjects were active elementary teachers in East Java. The data collection instrument in this study was a questionnaire distributed online. The results of the study showed that 100% of the participating teachers thought that CAR was important to implement. This is because they benefit from the implementation of CAR, namely improving the quality of learning. However, the implementation of CAR during the pandemic experienced various obstacles including limited internet connection and face-to-face time. This is a challenge for teachers to continue to carry out CAR with the blended learning method to overcome learning problems that occur during the new normal period.

Abstract

Indonesia is a diverse nation with various ethnicities, languages, traditions, and social classes, even in the religious aspect. The fact is that Indonesians have problems figuring out how to manage multikulturalism to minimize conflict caused by the term "difference". One of the strategic plans to instil multikultural values is to implement it through an educational process that teaches multikultural and human rights. The purpose of this research is to describe multikultural education in Islamic institutions. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, which is located at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Ichsan Surabaya, collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in this research is from data collection and conclusions. The result of this research indicates that there is awareness of the existence of multikultural education, a curriculum with a multikultural perspective, and madrasa culture to appreciate differences. Multikultural education is implemented in the classroom and through outdoor education with various activities that emphasize teamwork. The impact of multikultural education on students is the realization of students' daily habits that show multikultural appreciation, live in harmony, and can minimize various conflicts between students.   Keywords: Education, Multikultural, Islamic Educational Institutions
