Abstract

Lulusan Program S1 PGSD UT seharusnya menjadi guru profesional, dengan indikator mampu  menguasai tugas pokok, yang meliputi standar isi, proses, dan penilaian. Indikator untuk menilai mahasiswa S1 PGSD dalam melaksanakan tugas pokoknya berupa PKM. Kenyataannya mahasiswa S1 PGSD UT dalam melaksanakan PKM mengalami kesulitan penyusunan perencanaan  dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran berkait dengan standar isi, standar proses, dan standar penilaian. Masalah pokok penelitian ini (1) apakah pengaruh penguasaan standar isi, standar proses, dan standar penilaian terhadap pelaksanaan PKM mahasiswa S1 PGSD UT Pokjar Kabupaten Pati bermakna, (2) manakah pengaruh yang paling bermakna antara  penguasaan standar isi, standar proses, dan standar penilaian terhadap pelaksanaan PKM mahasiswa S1 PGSD UT Pokjar Kabupaten Pati. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) menguji kebermaknaan pengaruh penguasaan standar isi, standar proses, dan  standar penilaian, (2)  menguji  manakah pengaruh yang paling bermakna antara penguasaan standar isi, standar proses, dan standar penilaian terhadap pelaksanaan PKM mahasiwa S1 PGSD UT  Pokjar Kabupaten Pati. Kerangka teoretis penelitian meliputi teori Woodhouse (1999), Crosby et al (2001),  Hudson (2007),  Piaget (2009), Bruner (2009). Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan pendekatan desain ex post facto. Populasi penelitian adalah kemampuan mahasiswa S1 PGSD Universitas Terbuka Kelompok Belajar Kabupaten Pati tahun kuliah 2009/2010. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan sensus dengan jumlah data 56 responden. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode pengamatan, dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier ganda dengan tiga prediktor memakai statistik korelasi parsial, menggunakan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini adalah (1) penguasaan standar isi, penguasaan  standar proses, dan penguasaans standar penilaian secara parsial berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap pelaksanaan PKM Mahasiswa S1 PGSD Universitas Terbuka Kelompok Belajar Kabupaten Pati. Hasil uji F, penguasaan standar isi sebesar 3,184, penguasaan standar proses sebesar 2,430, penguasaan standar penilaian sebesar 2,087 adalah lebih besar dari F tabel 2,0032, (2) pengaruh penguasaan stadar isi paling signifikan terhadap pelaksanaan PKM Mahasiswa S1 PGSD Universitas Terbuka Kelompok Belajar Kabupaten Pati daripada pengaruh penguasaan standar proses dan standar penilaian. Hal ini dibuktikan dari hasil F hitung penguasaan standar isi lebih besar dibandingkan dengan penguasaan standar proses dan standar penilaian, yaitu sebesar 3,184.   Dengan demikian Ho ditolak dan H1 diterima/tidak ditolak. Berdasarkan temuan penelitian  disarankan (1) mahasiswa S1 PGSD  UT Pokjar Kabupaten Pati untuk mempertimbangkan penguasaan standar isi, penguasaan standar proses, dan penguasaan standar penilaian dalam pelaksanaan PKM. Karena variabel-variabel tersebut sangat penting untuk peningkatan pelaksanaan PKM, (2) bagi peneliti selanjutnya dapat mengembangkan kuesioner, variabel dan butir pertanyaan yang lain, yang relevan dengan kajian tentang pelaksanaan PKM, dan (3) hasil penelitian ini direkomendasikan untuk dikembangkan pada penelitian selanjutnya.

Abstract

Students had difficulties to focus and got the idea to write their research report when they asked to finish their writing in certain time.Therefore, the researchers conducted the research on applying Problem Based learning (PBL) to support the Active Student Responding (ASR) in writing. Theobjectives of this research is to describe the studentsresponses in writing academic research especially their final project. The subjects of this study are the eighth semester of Universitas Terbuka who join Pemantapan Kemampuan Profesional subjects. The research methodology is descriptive quantitative.The sampling technique of the research is simple random sampling which uses 20 students from the eighth semester. The data obtained from questionnaire and observation.The reserach study concludes that the application of Problem Based Learning (PBL) encourage students to be creative in writing and enhance studentscritical thinking in solve theproblem. They tend to have a big effort to finish writing on their final project. It can be seen from the means result of studentsconcept learning questionnaire 69.8%. It meant that there were a big motivation from the students to write their research project.

Abstract

The research problem is how the significance level of the influence of computer-based teaching materials on students’learning outcomes in Indonesian subjects in SMA 1 Jekulo. This study used an experimental research with two variables, namely independent variables (computer-based teaching materials) and dependent variable (student learning outcomes). The research design used Control Group Pre-Test-Post-Test. To know the level of significance of the influence of computer-based teaching materials on the students’ learning achievement used t-Test: Paired Two Sample for Means. The result of pretest hypothesis test on homogeneity test obtained Fhitung = 1.10 and Ftable = 1.72 so Fcount <Ftable. This means that the initial value is homogeneously distributed. Thus, based on the initial scores of students' abilities the experimental and control groups are almost equal. In the pretest significance shown that the experimental group and the control group was not significant with tcount = 1.839 and ttable = 2.028 so that tcal < = 0.01. This means thitung was a = 0.05, and ttable = 2.39 for a ttabel.After held post-test as the end of activity obtained the correlation number was 0.618. If consulted with the table, then the number showed a high relationship. The result of t test was calculated = 12.652, whereas ttable = 2.028 for >  = 0.01. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of computer-based teaching materials has a significant effect on students’ learning outcomes.a = 0,05 or a ttabel either real level.Keywords: teaching materials, computers, learning outcomes

Abstract

Due to the pandemic situation, there is a shift in the scientific writing learning process. The process changes from offline to online, where lecturers and students must be more active and involved in the learning process through website tutorials with Microsoft Teams application synchronously and asynchronously through LMS UT. However, such a learning process also experiences problems both with wifi or the internet and the involvement and motivation of students in following it. To complete asynchronously using LMS UT, the research team focused on developing online learning media based on Task-based Language Teaching and android video. This study aims to create online learning media based on Task-Based Language Teaching and android video on writing material for Classroom Action Research to improve understanding and writing Classroom Action Research. The subjects of this research are 3rd-semester students at the Open University. The research method is the development method using a modified 4-D model of instructional development of Thiagarajan, Semmel, and Semmel (4-D model). The process of data collection is done by interview, observation, and filling out a questionnaire. The results of developing online learning media based on Task-Based Language Teaching and android video are suitable for the hybrid writing learning process. Students can be communicative in the web tutorial process. Student learning outcomes are already above the average indicator of 75% through the developed learning media. In addition, students responded positively in their involvement in the learning process using Task-Based Language Teaching-based media and android video.

Abstract

Latar belakang: Pergeseran pembelajaran dari luring menjadi daring pada masa pandemi COVID 19 memberikan dampak besar pada proses pembelajaran di sekolah khususnya SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Semarang. Sekolah yang berlokasi di Jalan Lapangan Kalisasak No.9 Mangkang Wetan Tugu Kota Semarang, dimana siswa-siswa dan guru-guru melaksanakan daring dengan whats app group dan google classroom. Sebanyak 60 % guru di SMP Muhammadiyah 9 menggunakan whatsapp dan google classroom untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran belum mengaplikasikan media dan pendekatan yang memotivasi dan menunjang autonomous learning siswa.   Guru belum memiliki kemampuan memodifikasi pembelajaran online berbasis blended learning dengan media android sederhana. Hampir 55 % siswa bosan mengikuti pembelajaran karena tidak bertemu tatap muka secara langsung. Permasalahan ini terjadi karena keterbatasan fasilitas yang dimiliki oleh SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Kota Semarang. Tujuan: Untuk meningkatkan literasi dalam berinovasi menggunakan media ajar yang menarik seperti video, android sederhana atau media audio dengan media blended online learning. Metode: Kegiatan pendampingan ini dimulai dari; 1) pendampingan pelatihan pembelajaran blended online, 2) pendampingan pelatihan media ajar menarik, 3) pendampingan perancangan lesson plan berdasar daring, literasi dan blended online learning bagi guru. Hasil: Adapun hasil pengabdian ini adalah adanya kemampuan literasi guru yang berbasis teknologi model aplikasi dasar media blended online learning, lesson plan, serta peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa dan kompetensi profesional guru dalam menggunakan media bervariasi. Kesimpulan: Oleh karena itu, adanya motivasi belajar siswa yang baik maka dapat mendukung kemampuan profesional guru yang inovatif. The school is located at Jalan Lapangan Kalisasak No. 9 Mangkang Wetan Tugu, Semarang City, where students and teachers carry out online with whats app group and Google Classroom. 60% of teachers at SMP Muhammadiyah 9 use whats app and Google Classroom to carry out learning but have yet to apply media and approaches that motivate and support students' autonomous learning. Teachers cannot modify blended learning-based online learning with simple Android media. Nearly 55% of students are bored with learning because they need to meet face-to-face. This problem occurs because of the limited facilities owned by SMP Muhammadiyah 9 Semarang City. Objective: To increase literacy in innovating using interest teaching media such as video, simple Android, or audio media with blended online learning media. Method: This mentoring activity starts from 1) mentoring on online, blended learning training, 2) mentoring on engaging teaching media training, and 3) assistance in designing lesson plans based on online literacy and blended online learning for teachers. Result: The results of this service are the teacher's literacy skills based on technology, the primary application model of blended online learning media, lesson plans, and an increase in student learning motivation and teacher professional competence in using various media. Conclusion: Therefore, good student learning motivation can support the innovative professional abilities of teachers. Keywords: implementation; literacy; blended online learning

Abstract

The development of digital technology currently affects all matters related to the learning and teaching process. Therefore, in the distance learning process, learning media, students’ participation, and interest are needed which are very necessary in responding to the challenges of today's education world. Therefore, this research aims to describe the students ‘participation and interest through strategy-based instruction in learning reading narrative text. The approach refers to students' understanding of how interested and understanding they are in studying English language material and how distributed to 27 students at one of the state universities in Indonesia. The results show that there is positive response from the students ‘participation and interest through strategy-based instruction. The most indicator is the students’ feeling happy and comfortable when learning using strategy-based instruction. Besides, it creates the teaching learners’ specific strategies to improve their skills and achieve their goals. Applying this concept to creating happiness can involve a variety of techniques and approaches such as; goal setting, positive thinking, mindfulness and meditation, healthy lifestyle, social connections, personal growth, time management, act of kindness, and self-care. Furthermore, the students' participation in strategy-based instruction involves actively engaging with the learning process, using specific strategies to enhance their understanding and performance. By actively involving students in the learning process and equipping them with effective strategies, educators can foster a more engaging and effective educational experience.Keywords: students ‘participation; students ‘interest; strategy based instruction; reading narrative text

Abstract

This study investigates the efficacy of mobile media in enhancing students' paragraph writing skills, motivation, and behavioural involvement. This research seeks to reconcile traditional pedagogical approaches with students' digital practices amid the swift incorporation of technological devices in education. A quasi-experimental approach comprised two groups: an experimental group employing mobile-based media and a control group using conventional methods. Data were gathered via writing evaluations, motivating surveys, and classroom observations. The findings indicate that students in the experimental group exhibited considerably enhanced writing performance compared to the control group. Furthermore, their motivation and behavioural involvement are heightened owing to mobile media's interactive and accessible characteristics. The results indicate that mobile media effectively enhances student-centred learning and encourages active engagement in writing activities. This study emphasizes mobile media's capacity to revolutionize writing instruction and stimulate future pedagogical advancements.
