Abstract

Research is a term used in Indonesia to illustrate a scientific paper in the form of a written presentation of research results, discussing a problem in a particular field of science using applicable rules. The Informatics Engineering study program at Ibnu Sina University is still not effective and efficient in terms of campus services for final year students, especially when submitting the title of the final project because it is still using the manual method. The author uses the PHP programming language and MYSQL database which aims to build an information system for submitting the title of the final project which is expected to support and facilitate the process of submitting the title of the final project and easily get information about campus services, especially when submitting a final assignment at Ibnu Sina University.

Abstract

Currently, XYZ Gas Stations, in carrying out fuel sales activities, have not yet used a simulation of calculating fuel supply needs at gas stations which functions to support decision making by the leadership, this causes frequent stock shortages at each XYZ gas station branch. because of that the authors are interested in creating a modeling system for calculating fuel inventory simulations using the Monte Carlo method and the LCM pattern. The purpose of this research is to produce a simulated calculation of the supply of purchased fuel so that management knows how much stock of fuel must be provided at each gas station and also to prevent empty fuel stocks at each gas station in the XYZ branch. The data collection methods used in this study were interviews, observations, and literature studies. The system is designed using the JAVA Programming Language. The data processed in this study is transaction activity data for January and February 2022 to determine the amount of inventory that must be provided in March 2022. The final results of the data processing that has been carried out with the trial purchase data transactions for the two current months, namely January and February 2022 to get the simulation results of fuel oil (BBM) supplies in March whose activation has been running with simulation predictions using the Monte Carlo Algorithm.

Abstract

Maternal and child health is a top priority in Indonesia's healthcare system, especially in remote areas that face limited access, medical personnel shortages, and inadequate healthcare facilities. The implementation of a midwifery information system based on information technology is a potential solution to improve the quality of maternal and neonatal healthcare services. However, the adoption of this system still encounters various challenges, such as limited technological infrastructure, lack of training for healthcare workers, and internet accessibility issues. This study aims to analyze the challenges and opportunities in implementing a midwifery information system in remote areas using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through literature studies and interviews with midwives, health department officials, and healthcare information system developers. The results indicate that despite significant obstacles in implementing the midwifery information system, opportunities such as mobile applications, cloud-based systems, and integration with national health systems can enhance the efficiency of midwifery healthcare services. Government policy support and capacity-building programs for healthcare workers are key factors in the successful implementation of this system.

Abstract

Dental caries remains one of the most prevalent oral health problems worldwide, requiring early and accurate detection to prevent extensive damage and reduce treatment costs. Recent advances in artificial intelligence particularly deep learning have led to significant improvements in diagnostic accuracy and consistency compared to traditional visual or radiographic assessments. This systematic literature review evaluates the development of deep learning techniques for dental caries detection based on studies published between 2020 and 2024. Following the PRISMA 2020 guidelines, six eligible studies were identified from Scopus, PubMed, IEEE Xplore, and ScienceDirect databases. The review synthesizes findings related to model architectures, imaging modalities, dataset characteristics, and performance metrics. The results show that models such as CNN, YOLO, U-Net, and EfficientNet consistently demonstrate high accuracy in identifying carious lesions, with bitewing and panoramic radiographs producing the most reliable diagnostic outcomes. However, limitations remain, including dataset variability, limited sample sizes, and reduced sensitivity for early-stage lesions. This review highlights current progress, methodological challenges, and potential research opportunities, emphasizing the need for standardized datasets, improved clinical validation, and stronger multidisciplinary collaboration to support the integration of deep learning into dental diagnostic workflows.

Abstract

Pengembangan teknologi digital telah merubah lanskap pemasaran produk dan jasa, di mana pendekatan visual menjadi salah satu elemen kunci dalam menarik perhatian konsumen. Salah satu alat desain grafis yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pemasaran adalah Canva, sebuah platform yang user-friendly dan mudah diakses oleh pelaku usaha kecil dan menengah (UKM). Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan praktis dalam pemanfaatan Canva untuk mengoptimalkan strategi pemasaran digital. Melalui pelatihan ini, peserta diajarkan cara membuat berbagai jenis konten visual yang menarik, seperti poster, banner, dan materi media sosial, tanpa memerlukan keterampilan desain grafis yang rumit. Hasil dari pelatihan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap pemasaran visual serta kemampuan mereka dalam menggunakan Canva untuk membuat konten yang efektif dan profesional. Meskipun dampak langsung terhadap penjualan belum sepenuhnya terukur, peserta melaporkan peningkatan engagement dengan konsumen di platform media sosial, yang berpotensi mendorong peningkatan penjualan di masa depan.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan, kreativitas, dan pemahaman kewirausahaan masyarakat melalui pelatihan pembuatan buket bunga sebagai bagian dari penguatan ekonomi kreatif. Latar belakang kegiatan ini didasarkan pada masih terbatasnya keterampilan teknis dan wawasan usaha masyarakat dalam mengembangkan produk kreatif yang bernilai ekonomis. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif dan aplikatif yang meliputi tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan pelatihan, pembekalan kewirausahaan, serta evaluasi. Pelatihan dilaksanakan melalui kombinasi metode ceramah, demonstrasi, dan praktik langsung dengan pendampingan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan teknis peserta dalam merangkai buket bunga, peningkatan kreativitas dalam pengembangan desain produk, serta peningkatan pemahaman dasar kewirausahaan seperti penentuan harga, pengemasan, dan pemasaran sederhana. Selain itu, peserta menunjukkan respon dan partisipasi yang tinggi selama kegiatan berlangsung. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa pelatihan keterampilan berbasis ekonomi kreatif mampu menjadi sarana pemberdayaan masyarakat dan berpotensi mendorong terbentuknya usaha mandiri yang berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, pelatihan pembuatan buket bunga dapat berkontribusi secara positif dalam penguatan ekonomi kreatif dan peningkatan kesejahteraan masyarakat.
