Abstract

The problem of hot air temperature can disrupt indoor comfort and energy efficiency. The use of AC as a solution to cool the room is often not optimal, with problems such as AC remaining on when the room is empty and arbitrary temperature settings, which can accelerate device damage. To overcome this problem, this study proposes the development of an AC control and monitoring system that utilizes the Fuzzy Mamdani method based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The Fuzzy Mamdani method was chosen because of its ability to handle uncertainty and variability in temperature settings, while IoT allows the system to monitor and control the AC in real-time via the internet. The proposed system is designed to monitor the condition of the AC, automatically adjust the temperature based on actual needs, and provide information for corrective action if necessary. With this system, it is expected that the use of AC can be optimized, energy efficiency increased, and the service life of the AC can be extended. This study shows the importance of implementing a Fuzzy Mamdani and IoT-based control system to overcome the suboptimal use of AC, improve comfort, and reduce energy consumption. The results of this study are expected to make a significant contribution to more efficient AC management in educational environments and can be a model for similar applications in other fields. From the results, the room temperature tested was 25°C with humidity reaching 80%. Based on data processing using the Fuzzy Mamdani method, the results of the decision for the recommended AC temperature were 23.3°C. These results are in accordance with the results of manual testing.

Abstract

The Indonesian Institute of Technology and Business is an institution engaged in the field of Education. Scholarship is a gift in the form of an award or in the form of financial assistance given to people who have achievements that aim to be used as a continuation of education that will be taken during education. In addition, scholarships are also given to students as an appreciation or support for outstanding students. This research was made with the aim that the Right Target, Right Amount and Timely scholarship program can be implemented in determining scholarships to improve academic achievement at the Indonesian Institute of Technology and Business. Based on the existing problems, the authors analyze and design an application system built using Matlab software by combining fuzzy logic and Matlab GUI.

Abstract

Abstract: A safe is a tool used to store valuables such as money, jewelry, securities, and so on. The crime rate is increasingly high in this country, especially the crime rate of theft, which encourages people to create safes with extra security systems. To achieve a security system that has double or layered security requires sophisticated technology. The technology used in this safe security system uses NFC (Near Field Communication), keypad. By using NFC as a card reader, a special password has been given which can only be read by NFC. Meanwhile, using an Arduino Uno as a microcontroller and a password to access the safe door is very difficult to duplicate. Abstract

Some villages often experience difficulties in classifying economically disadvantaged communities, resulting in the distribution of social assistance sometimes being misdirected. Various grants are received, such as subsidies provided to the poor. Problems encountered include poorly managed community data, which complicates the analysis process, and the lack of a measurable grouping method, which often misdirects aid. Without an objective, data-driven grouping system, aid distribution errors will continue to recur, resulting in misdirected aid. To address these issues, one solution is the use of data mining techniques. In the past, big data management was often done manually or using conventional methods that required significant time, effort, and expense. Data mining is the process of exploring and analyzing large data sets to discover patterns, relationships, or important information that can support decision-making. The K-Means algorithm is a clustering method in data mining used to group data into groups (clusters) based on similar characteristics. The purpose of this study is to design and implement a system for grouping poor communities based on the K-Means algorithm that can assist village governments in distributing aid precisely to targets, accelerate the data analysis process, and reduce aid distribution errors. This study uses 30 population data with 5 attributes: occupation, income, dependents, home ownership, and assets. The method used in this study is the K-Means Algorithm. From the calculations that have been carried out, it is recommended that there are 3 clusters with the same results, namely cluster 1 with 10 residents, cluster 2 with 10 residents, and cluster 3 with 10 residents as well.

Abstract

Internet memang merupakan penyaji informasi yang sangat luas. Kecanggihan teknologi memang tidak melulu bernilai positif tetapi bisa juga berdampak buruk. Oleh karena itu sebagai tenaga pendidik kita harus waspada dan berperan aktif dalam mengawasi aktivitas berinternet di sekitaran kita. Dalam Sosialisasi ini disampaikan Langkah –langkah untuk mendukung supaya tercipta internet sehat dan bagaimana cara menggunakan media sosial secara sehat dan aman. Dalam mengakses internet tentunya akan menambah wawasan setiap orang. Namun harus disadari juga, bahwa penyalahgunaan internet dapat menempatkan seseorang dalam bahaya atau mengancam integritas diri dari masyarakat. Pengabdian Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk Tujuan sosialisasi ini adalah proses edukasi dengan memberikan pemahaman yang cukup mengenai penggunaan internet secara bijak sehingga dapat memaksimalkan dampak positif internet dan meminimalkan dampak negatif dari berinternet, sehingga tercipta siswa/i cerdas dan produktif dengan harapan siswa/i khususnya di  SMP Taman Siswa Padang Tualang dapat memanfaatkan internet dengan baik. Menjadikan perkembangan teknologi informasi sebagai media untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat. Dari proses pemamparan sosialisasi yang dilakukan terjadi peningkatan pemahaman terhadap internet sehat dan aman menjadi 83,5%

Abstract

Coretax is a tax information system developed by the Directorate General of Taxes (DJP) to support digital and integrated tax administration processes, covering everything from taxpayer registration to reporting and auditing. Although it was designed to improve efficiency, transparency, and accuracy in tax management, its implementation has sparked mixed reactions among the public due to various technical challenges and the complexity of the annual tax reporting process. This situation highlights the need for a sentiment analysis that can objectively capture public perceptions of the system’s performance. In this study, Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning techniques were applied to analyze 3,000 tweets from Twitter (X) related to Coretax. One of the main issues identified in the dataset is class imbalance, where positive sentiments significantly outnumber negative and neutral ones, leading to biased classification results. To address this issue, the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) was used to balance the dataset by generating synthetic samples for the minority classes. The BERT model was then employed for sentiment classification because of its strong ability to understand contextual meaning through its transformer-based architecture. Experimental results show that before applying SMOTE, the BERT model achieved an accuracy of 77%, which increased to 80% after SMOTE was implemented, along with improvements in precision, recall, and F1-score, particularly for the minority classes. These findings demonstrate that the combination of SMOTE and BERT significantly enhances the performance of sentiment analysis in understanding public responses to Coretax. This approach can serve as a valuable reference for evaluating and improving tax digitalization policies, ensuring they are more effective, inclusive, and responsive to public needs.
