Abstract

Mata kuliah Bahasa Arab merupakan salah satu mata kuliah wajib di UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung. Namun tidak semua mahasiswa berasal dari sekolah yang berbasis Islam, sehingga mata kuliah Bahasa Arab dapat menjadi salah satu mata kuliah yang dapat menimbulkan kecemasan akademik. Fakultas Psikologi adalah salah satu fakultas yang berbasis umum yang ada di UIN Sunan Gunung Djati Bandung, sebagai fakultas yang berbasis umum, sebagian mahasiswa bukan berasal dari sekolah yang berbasis agama. Menurut studi awal yang dilakukan, sekitar 60% dari 50 subjek yang merupakan mahasiswa psikologi merasa cemas akan mata kuliah Bahasa Arab. Subjek dari penelitian ini berjumlah 255 mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh self efficacy terhadap kecemasan dalam belajar mata kuliah Bahasa Arab dengan academic help seeking sebagai variabel moderasinya. Hasil dari uji PLS moderasi menunjukan bahwa variabel academic help seeking dapat menjadi variabel moderator dari pengaruh self efficacy terhadap kecemasan dalam belajar mata kuliah Bahasa Arab dengan nilai signifikasi 0.018.

Abstract

Penelitian tentang keanekaragaman reptil dilakukan untuk mempelajari jenis-jenis reptil apa saja yang menempati habitat Sungai Elo, Sungai Bengawan Solo, Kota Surakarta, dan Kabupaten Magetan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan selama bulan Februari 2022 hingga bulan Maret 2022 dengan teknik Visual Encounter Survey (VES) atau teknik survei perjumpaan visual di empat lokasi pengamatan secara diurnal dan nokturnal. Total telah ditemukan 1 spesies dari Sungai Elo (Varanus salvator), 2 spesies dari Sungai Bengawan Solo (Varanus rudicollis dan Acrochordus granulatus), 2 spesies dari Kota Surakarta (Calotes versicolor dan Eutropis multifasciata)  dan 1 spesies dari Kabupaten Magetan (Lygosoma quadrupes). Hasil analisis diperoleh nilai indeks keanekaragaman Shannon-Wiener pada Sungai Elo dan Kabupaten Magetan sebesar 0; pada Sungai Bengawan Solo sebesar 0,4506; dan pada Kota Surakarta sebesar  0,6518 sehingga termasuk dalam kategori keanekaragaman yang rendah.

Abstract

Luqman's story and his advice to his son in Surah Luqman highlight the importance of education and the formation of children's character in Islam. Luqman emphasized the importance of faith and moral education as an inseparable unit, by providing a good example as a parent and educator. He taught his children about faith in Allah, giving thanks to Him, and being filial to their parents. Apart from that, Luqman also gets his children used to doing good deeds and being polite in interacting with fellow humans. Luqman's story provides strong guidelines for parents and educators in educating their children well, both academically and spiritually.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze multicultural education management strategies in realizing the values of moderation, tolerance, and inclusivity at SMKN 2 Karawang. The background of this research arises from the importance of managing diversity within schools as an effort to create a harmonious, fair, and respectful learning environment that embraces cultural and religious differences. The research employs a qualitative approach using the literature study (library research) method. Data were collected through an extensive review of books, scientific journals, academic articles, and previous studies relevant to multicultural education management and religious moderation. The findings indicate that the multicultural education management strategy at SMKN 2 Karawang is implemented through three main stages: planning oriented toward inclusive values, implementation through collaborative learning and intercultural activities, and continuous evaluation to strengthen moderate and tolerant attitudes within the school environment. This study concludes that multicultural education management serves as an effective approach to building an inclusive, open, and harmonious school culture.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze strategies for strengthening the competence of non-functional staff at the Library of the Agency for Language Development and Cultivation, Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education. The research is motivated by the condition that library management and services continue to run despite the absence of an active librarian, while operational duties are carried out by administrative staff with non-library educational backgrounds. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data are analyzed through data collection, condensation, presentation, and conclusion drawing, supported by SWOT analysis to identify internal and external factors. The analysis shows that staff experience, organizational trust, and service continuity are internal strengths, while limited formal library education and the absence of active librarians are weaknesses. Opportunities include competency standards, training programs, and information technology development, whereas threats include increasing service demands and dependence on certain personnel. The recommended strategies include competency-based training, technical mentoring, work procedure documentation, phased competency mapping, and periodic evaluation. Strengthening competence is expected to improve staff knowledge, skills, work attitudes, and the quality of library services.
