Abstract

This article aims to describe and analyze the themes and meanings contained in the poem Anā wa al-Nisā’ by Nizar Qabbani. The research method used is descriptive which describes and analyzes the themes of Anā wa al-Nisā’s poetry by Nizar Qabbani. The data collection technique used is the listening technique by taking notes starting from reading books, research and other articles related to the research topic. The results of this study are that the themes contained in Anā wa al-Nisā’ by Nizar Qabbani are very diverse, such as the themes of love, sadness, boredom, and also matters relating to women. Then there are several pronunciations that have denotative meanings in the first and second stanzas. While the pronunciation which is interpreted as connotation is found in the third stanza.

Abstract

Media is a channel for information that is still used today. There are many issues circulating with various media reporting them. One of the issues that is always widely discussed is the Palestinian-Israeli conflict which is heating up again at the moment. The discourse on Palestinian liberation has always been a hot topic. This gives rise to the emergence of lexemes or language units that are appropriate to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, such as the word tahrir. This research aims to explain the lexical and contextual meaning in the online Arabic media Al-Jazeera which highlights the Palestinian-Israeli conflict. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The data source comes from Al-Jazeera media with the help of AntConc and LancBox software in collecting data. The research results showed that lexical meaning was found by 64% and contextual meaning was found by 36%. Al-Jazeera reporting tends to use the word tahrir  in its lexical meaning as liberation. Meanwhile, using the word al-tahrir has a contextual meaning that is oriented towards the name of the liberation organization in Palestine.

Abstract

AbstrakTulisan ini berupaya mendeskripsikan wujud dieksis persona, acuan dieksis persona dan makna dieksis persona dalam teks al-Isra’. Tulisan ini merupakan jenis penelitian kepustakaan (library research) dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan menggunakan pendekatan pragmatik. Hasil yang ditemukan dalam teks adalah sebagai berikut : terdapat 5 bentuk dieksis persona yang muncul dalam teks, yaitu dieksis persona pertama terikat, dieksis persona pertama jamak bebas, dieksis persona pertama jamak terikat, dieksis persona kedua tunggal terikat dan dieksis kedua jamak terikat. Acuan yang sering muncul dalam dieksis persona pertama adalah Allah SWT dan Bani Israil dalam dieksis persona kedua. Deiksis persona II tunggal dalam Q.S al-Isra’ selain berfungsi menunjukkan referen tunggal, juga berfungsi untuk menunjukkan referen jamak. Penyebutan pronomina III tunggal dalam Q.S al-Isra’ seperti (huwa) yang didahulukan sebelum subjek yang diacunya memiliki makna terpatrinya subjek (Allah) ke dalam hati mitra tuturnya (Nabi Muhammad), sehingga penyebutan subjek di awal tidak dilakukan oleh mitra tutur.Kata Kunci: Dieksis Persona, Al-Isra’, Pragmatik AbstractThis paper attempts to describe the form of persona diexist and persona diexist’s references in the text of al-Isra'. This paper type is a library research with a qualitative descriptive method and using a pragmatic approach. The results found in the text are as follows: there are 5 forms of persona diexis that appear in the text; the diexist of the bound first person, the diexis of the first plural free person, the diexis of the first plural of bound persona, the diexis of the bound singular persona, and the second diexis of the bound singular and the second plural of the diexist. The references that often appear in the existence of the first person in the plural first diexis are Allah SWT and Israelites in the diexist of the second person. There are 3 references in the first persona, namely Allah SWT, the Quraysh disbelievers and the believers and there are 3 references in the second persona; Israelites, the Prophet Muhammad and humans.Keywords: Persona Diexist.
