Abstract

Women in commercial advertising is needed to strengthen the marketability of a product. Therefore, created an imaging. Imaging Islamic women looks at some of the products Wardah, Citra, and Sunsilk shampoo. This paper describes the interpretation of the iconic, meaning indeksional, and symbols in commercial advertisements. The data were taken form youtube, documented by data transcription, and then analyzed by using theory semiotics Charles Sanders Peirce. The conclusion of this study shows that the Islamic women imaged by Wardah, Citra, and Sunsilk in iconic interpretation is (1) an egalitarian, (2) care, (3) non-discriminatory, (4) sportsmanship, and (3) always grateful. Women islami within the meaning indeksional are (1) more confident, (2) always happy, (3) to inspire, (4) are free to move, (5) clean inwardly and outwardly, (6) reach freedom without violating limits, (7 ) hospitable, (8) has appeal, and (9) have a sense of comfort. Meanwhile, women's Islamic imaged in symbolic meaning is (1) Islamic, both verbal and nonverbal, (2) class high social, (3) a humanist, (4) domiciled equivalent, (5) maintain pluralism, (6) a valuable, and (7) white shine.[Wanita dalam iklan komersial sanagt penting untuk memperkuat pasar suatu produk. Untuk itu, menciptakan cit- ra perempuan dalam suatu produk menjadi signifikan. Citra wanita Islam bisa dilihat pada produk sampo Ward- ah, Citra, dan Sunsilk. Artikel ini menjelaskan interpretasi dari makna ikonik,indeks dan simbolik dalam iklan komersial tersebut. Data diambil dari youtube, ditranskripsikan dan kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori semiotika Charles Sanders Peirce. Kesimpulan menunjukkan bahwa citra wanita Islam di iklan tersebut dalam penafsiran ikonik adalah (1) egaliter, (2) perhatian, (3) tidak diskriminatif, (4) sportif, dan (5) selalu bersyukur. Sedangkan dalam makna indeks, citra wanita islami digambarkan (1) lebih percaya diri, (2) selalu bahagia, (3) menginspirasi, (4) bebas bergerak, (5) bersih luar dalam, (6) mencapai kebebasan, (7) ramah tamah (8) memiliki daya tarik seksual, dan (9) memiliki rasa nyaman. Sementara itu, citra wanita islami dalam arti simbolis adalah (1) Islami, baik verbal maupun nonverbal, (2) kelas sosial yang tinggi, (3) humanis, (4) berkedudukan setara, (5) menjaga pluralisme, (6) bernilai dan (7) putih bersinar.]

Abstract

Penyebab penyakit fisik yang ada sekarang ini 53% berasal dari faktor psikis atau kejiwaan yang berawal dari pola berpikir dan bertindak sehari-hari. M enurut Ustad Danu, pada prinsipnya semua penyakit muncul akibat seseorang sering mengumbar hawa nafsu sehingga Allah menurunkan azab atau peringatan agar manusia kembali ke jalan yang benar yaitu Alquran dan Sunah Rasul. Salah satu penyembuhan penyakit disebut dengan psikoterapi, yakni sebuah metode penyembuhan dengan menggunakan pendekatan psikologis atau dengan perbaikan akhlak. Sugesti juga memiliki peran dan manfaat di dalam penyembuhan suatu penyakit. Secara teori, sugesti yang dibangkitkan pada diri seseorang, mampu untuk merangsang hormon-hormon yang ada pada tubuh, mengeluarkan sel-sel untuk melawan penyakit (antibody).

Abstract

This current paper analyses conflicts between Palestine and Israel as figure out by Nizār Qabbānī in his masterpiece poem Hawāmis 'Ala Daftar al-Naksah written in an anthology of al-A'mal al-Siyāsiyyah al-Kāmilah. In the world of Arabic Literature, Qabbānī is considered to be a famous Syrian poet. His works are related to politics, romanticism, women and voicing freedom amid patriarchal culture including the current work under discussion. This research is a type of interpretive qualitative research with data analysis methods in the form of textual analysis. The source of the research data is the poem Al-Hawāmis 'Ala Daftar Al-Naksah. The writers applied semantic method of analysis in this study, especially Gorys Keraf’s Diction and Language Style. The results of this study show the use of elusive dictions that can be understood through denotational meaning, and connotation in the poem. In terms of denotation, the poet wants to convey various problems experienced by Palestine. Second, in a connotational sense, the poet wants to convey support for Palestine and at the same time expose Israeli atrocities that are beginning to be covered up by the world, and reveal that the defeat of Arab countries against Israeli forces is not the inability of Arab countries against Israel itself but the Arab defeat is caused by the lack of unity in these Arab countries.

Abstract

Politeness is reflected in the use of verbal sign. Politeness is also found in multicultural dawah. Multicultural dawah means to summon or invite people of different cultural backgrounds to learn more about Islam, but its deliverance does not offend, hurt, obtrude, or impose its audiences. This paper describes the politeness indicators and supporting values of politeness in multicultural dakwah. The data were taken form youtube, documented by data transcription, and then analyzed by using theory of politeness. The conclusion of this study shows that these multicultural dawah obey the politeness indicators such as angon rasa, adu rasa, empan papan, humility, respect, tepa selira, diction of "sorry", "thank you', and greeting "Sir/Madam". However, in these multicultural dakwah, there were also found the disobediences of the politeness indicators. This disobediences are due to the usage of inappropriate dictions. The supporting values of politeness include humility, empan papan,keep the feeling and attitude of introspection.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the ideology underlying the translation of culturally charged words in tourism booklets published by the Wonderful Indonesia website. This study aims to analyze the translation ideology and the equivalence of culturally loaded words found in the tourism brochure of the Wonderful Indonesia official website, specifically the Yogyakarta edition. The objective is to examine how translation strategies—whether domesticating or foreignizing—impact the level of equivalence in conveying cultural meanings, and how these choices reflect the translator's underlying ideological stance in representing Indonesian culture to international audiences. This research employs a qualitative approach, utilizing text analysis as its method. Data were collected through a literature study and content analysis of tourism booklets available on the Wonderful Indonesia website. The analysis process involved identifying culturally charged words and the ideologies present in the translation, taking into account the cultural context and purpose of communication. The results show that the translation of culturally charged words in tourism booklets serves not only as a communication tool, but also as a means to build a positive image of Indonesia. The underlying ideology of the translation reflects efforts to attract international tourists by emphasising the uniqueness and richness of Indonesian culture. However, there are also challenges in maintaining the authenticity of cultural meanings when translated into foreign languages. It is hoped that this research will contribute to the understanding of the relationship between translation, culture, and ideology in the context of tourism. The findings are particularly relevant for stakeholders in the tourism industry, as they inform the design of effective promotional materials that are sensitive to local cultural values and preferences. Thus, this research is expected to serve as a reference for the development of more inclusive and representative tourism communication strategies.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bentuk pergeseran makna kata serapan bahasa Arab dalam bahasa Indonesia pada iklan komersial dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pergeseran makna tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan data penelitian diperoleh dari media online seperti media sosial, website dan situs marketplace. Data dikumpulkan melalui metode dokumentasi dan simak dengan teknik lanjutan yaitu teknik catat. Adapun analisis data dilakukan dengan metode padan intralingual untuk mengkaji unsur internal kebahasaan dan metode padan ekstralingual untuk menelaah hubungan bahasa dengan unsur di luar bahasa. Kedua metode ini diterapkan melalui teknik hubung banding menyamakan (HBS) dan hubung banding membedakan (HBB). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pergeseran makna kata serapan bahasa Arab dalam iklan komersial terjadi dalam dua bentuk utama yaitu perluasan makna dan penyempitan makna. Kata halal mengalami perluasan dari makna religius menjadi simbol kualitas dan legalitas produk; hijrah meluas menjadi simbol gaya hidup Islami modern; sakinah mengalami perluasan menjadi representasi kenyamanan hunian; dan barokah mengalami penyempitan menjadi simbol keuntungan material. Pergeseran makna ini disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, antara lain: perbedaan bidang pemakaian, adanya perbedaan tanggapan individual masyarakat Indonesia dan juga adanya perubahan nilai sosial dan budaya masyarakat Indonesia yang mengaburkan batas antara sakral dan profan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa bahasa bersifat dinamis dan responsif terhadap perkembangan sosial, budaya, dan ekonomi dalam masyarakat.
