Abstract

Provision of tetanus toxoid immunization (TT) is granting immunity to tetanus penyaki to pregnant women and their fetuses. The process of entry into the bodys immunity covers had suffered from the disease, allowing the body to form immunity against the disease. Based Test Analysis report in Indonesia in 2005 - 2006 prepared by WHO in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, tetanus remains a major cause of mortality and maternal and neonatal morbidity. Deaths from tetanus in developing countries 135 times higher than in developed countries. Abstract

This study explores the lived experiences of learning anxiety and reluctance among junior high school students in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classroom. Employing a qualitative phenomenological approach, the research involved 12 seventh-grade students at MTs Al Kautsar. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that students experience various forms of anxiety, primarily communication apprehension and fear of negative evaluation, which manifest as classroom participation reluctance. Key contributing factors include a lack of prior English learning experience, limited vocabulary mastery, and negative perceptions of English as a difficult subject. These emotional challenges significantly impact students' motivation, self-confidence, and classroom participation, with higher anxiety levels correlating with lower engagement. Despite these challenges, students employ coping strategies such as independent vocabulary study and seeking help from peers. The study underscores the critical need for supportive learning environments and pedagogical strategies that address the affective dimensions of language learning to foster greater student engagement and reduce anxiety.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the relationship of problem solving ability of student and student mental model on static fluid material. Different student problem solving skills can be seen from the way students represent problem solving. The mental model represents the knowledge created during cognitive activity. This research uses embedded mixed design. The subjects of this study consisted of 30 students of grade XI SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Batu. During the learning of students given the treatment of experiential learning model of Learning. Result of analysis shows Chi-Square test value obtained by 216,500a with Asymp value (2-tailed) equal to 0,041 indicating that there is correlation between problem solving ability and mental model of student.
