Abstract

Abstract: The Indonesian Ahmadiyya Congregation (JAI) is one of the Islamic organizations in Indonesia that has developed through a historical process. JAI has struggled to gain recognition from the community, such as social programs and the law's legality. However, JAI remains the target of intolerant groups to carry out persecution because the teachings adhered to by JAI are considered heretical due to different Islamic concepts in general. This study aims to analyze the existence of JAI, such as legal entities, organizational systems, and activities carried out. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with an interview approach and a literature study. The study results indicate a legal clash between the legality of JAI's law and the law that prohibits JAI's activities. Then the general public does not seek information beforehand about the Indonesian Ahmadiyya Congregation, so the public is consumed by the issues addressed to the Indonesian Ahmadiyya Congregation.

Abstract

This community service activity was carried out at the Davao Indonesia School, Philippines. As a school which consists of children of Indonesian descent, Davao Indonesia School has the responsibility of bringing students to know their country's origins and have the spirit of national awareness that they are the people of Indonesia. However, Davao Indonesia School has difficulties in activities because Davao Indonesia School does not yet have teachers with historical academic backgrounds. Therefore, the presence of community service activities by History lecturers really helps Davao Indonesia School in making activities with the theme of national awareness. History-based national awareness assistance for Indonesian Davao School students is assistance that includes activities (1) peer tutoring of historical material by FKIP Uhamka students (2) and public lectures on material about proclamation by history lecturers of FKIP Uhamka (3) Historical Story Telling by students. All activities are carried out within two days in the school on 09 and 11 August 2022. The enthusiasm of students in these activities can be seen during the story telling activity. In this activity, students enthusiastically said that they were Indonesians and were able to tell the meaning of struggle as a reflection of every historical event.

Abstract

The Gedung Sate Museum is one of the museums in the city of Bandung and is frequently visited by tourists. Digital development through Youtube is one of the media used for social studies learning, one of which is the Journalism Youtube account. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection was carried out by watching videos and studying literature. The purpose of the research conducted by researchers was to analyze the Journalism Youtube channel by exploring the Gedung Sate Museum as a social studies learning tool. The results of the study explained that currently IPS learning is not only presented conventionally. Social studies learning trends have followed developments in the digital era by utilizing the existence of various social media. YouTube videos are a digital product that thrives on social media with various types of content. As a visual display, the video presents historical information which includes social studies in a short, concise and interesting way. This can be an effective social studies learning alternative in the digital era.
