Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan mengidentifikasi teks drama melalui model saintifik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Hiliduho Tahun Pembelajaran 20212/2022. Metode penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan prosedur yaitu: (1) perencanaan, (2) tindakan, (3) observasi, (4) refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Hiliduho pada semester genap yang berjumlah 18 orang dengan jumlah laki-laki 7 orang dan jumlah perempuan 11 orang. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan di lapangan maka peningkatan kemampuan siswa dalam mengidentifikasi teks drama siklus I, dengan nilai rata-rata 58,4 dengan nilai terendah 39,2 dan nilai tertinggi 82. Sedangkan pada siklus II, dengan nilai rata-rata 85,6 dengan nilai terendah 78,5 dan nilai tertinggi 92,8. Hasil lembar observasi siklus I pertemuan pertama 61,1% dan pertemuan kedua 66,6%, sedangkan siklus II pertemuan pertama 83,3%, dan pertemuan kedua 88,9%. Hasil lembar keaktifan siswa siklus I pertemuan pertama sebesar 66,2% dan pertemuan kedua sebesar 67%, dan siklus II pertemuan pertama sebesar 75,2% dan pertemuan kedua sebesar 80,7%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran saintifik dapat meningkatkan kemampuan siswa mengidentifikasi teks drama siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Hiliduho.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' ability to study the structure of persuasion texts using the Student Teams Achievement Division learning model. The subjects of this study were 25 students of class VIII-A of SMP Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli Utara, totaling 25 students, 8 male students and 17 female students. This study uses a Classroom Action Research model with the implementation procedures of planning, action, observation, and reflection. This research activity was carried out in two cycles using data collection techniques, observation sheets, and assessment sheets. Based on the results of the study, there was an increase in the ability of students to study the structure of persuasion texts using the Student Teams Achievement Division learning model. It can be seen in the results of the first cycle that the lowest value is 43.75, and the highest is 75, with an average value of 57.25. In contrast, the second cycle obtained the lowest value of 56.25 and the highest of 93.75. Based on the study results, it can be concluded that the Student Teams Achievement Division learning model can improve students' ability to study the structure of persuasion texts for class VIII-A students of SMP Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli Utara.
