Abstract

Gangguan tumbuh kembang bayi menyebabkan berbagai kendala pada fase selanjutnya. Data nasional menunjukkan terdapat 36,8 % balita mengalami stunting dan 16 % balita mengalami gangguan perkembangan. Kementerian kesehatan membuat program Stimulasi Deteksi Intervensi Dini Tumbuh Kembang bayi balita yang terkoordinasi dengan keluarga, masyarakat, tenaga kesehatan untuk mengatasinya. Studi pendahuluan didapatkan data 2,2 % balita mengalami stunting dan gizi kurang pada tahun 2019 di desa Telagasari Kabupaten Karawang serta balita usia 2 tahun dan 3 tahun yang belum mampu berjalan. Dominasi layanan pemantauan pertumbuhan bayi balita di posyandu menjadi bagian permasalahan yang perlu penanganan. Berdasarkan uraian permasalahan maka diperlukan pengabdian masyarakat berupa skrining perkembangan bayi melalui pelayanan baby massage. Kegiatan pengabdian menggunakan metode penyuluhan. Kegiatan pengabdian diikuti oleh 20 partisipan dengan memperhatikan protokol kesehatan, sosialisasi dan penyuluhan skrining perkembangan dan cara melakukan baby massage dilakukan di aula desa, sedangkan monitoring pelayanan dan pendampingan baby massage dilakukan dengan metode home visit setiap 1 minggu sekali selama 4 minggul dan pada minggu ketiga dan keempat ibu partisipan sudah mampu melakukan pemijatan pada bayinya. Rata -rata perkembangan bayi sebelum intervensi 8,45 dan setelah intervensi 9,6. Kegiatan pengabdian ini memberikan manfaat bagi partisipan dan ibu sehingga perlu pengembangan pengabdian di desa lain. Kata kunci : Bayi, pelayanan, perkembangan, pijat, skrining ABSTRACT Growth problems in babies could lead to various obstacles in the next phase. National data shows that 36.8% of children under five are stunted and 16% of children under five have growth problems. The Ministry of Health has created a stimulation program for early intervention and detection on the growth and development of infants under five which is coordinated with families, communities, health workers to deal with it. The preliminary study showed that 2.2% of children under five were stunted and malnourished in 2019 in Telagasari Village, Karawang Regency and children aged 2 years and 3 years were not able to walk. The dominance of infant growth monitoring services at posyandu (Integrated Health Service for infant) is part of the problem that needs to be addressed. Based on the description of the problem, it is necessary to have community service in the form of screening for infant development through baby massage services. Community service activities was implemented through counseling program. While adhering to health protocols, the service activity carried out in the village community hall was attended by 20 participants focusing on the socialization and counseling on baby development screening as well as how to do baby massage. Monitoring services and baby massage assistance were carried out by home visit once a week for 4 weeks and by the third week all four participating mothers were able to massage their babies. Average growth of infants before intervention was 8.45 and after intervention was 9.6. As this service activity offers some benefits for participants and mothers, therefore it is necessary to develop community service in other villages. Abstract

Background : Baby massage is a fun way to relieve tension and fussiness. Because a gentle massage will help relax his muscles, so he becomes calm and asleep. Research Objectives: To determine the effect of baby massage on baby's sleep quality and weight gain of babies aged 3-12 months. Research Methods: The sample in this study were 30 infants aged 3-12 months in PMB Hj, S.M S.Keb Tangerang-Banten City in 2022. Types of research conducted The research used is analylic method with Cross Design sectional. The results of the study: After being controlled by the variables of baby's sleep quality before baby massage, baby's sleep quality after baby massage, weight gain before baby massage, baby's weight gain after baby massage. The results showed that there was an influence between baby's sleep quality after baby massage (p-value 0,011), baby's weight gain after baby massage (p-value 0,020). Conclusion: Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there arethe relationship between the quality of infant sleep and the increase in infant sleep after a baby massage was performed at PMB Hj, S.M S.Keb in 2022.

Abstract

Background: Adolescents experience menstruation, have unhealthy eating habits, and cannot provide enough nutrients needed by the body to maintain Hb formation. If this happens for a long time, it will reduce Hb levels and cause anemia. So it can be seen that young women are the group most at high risk of experiencing anemia.Purpose:  To determine the effectiveness of giving dragon fruit and beetroot juice on hemoglobin levels in anemic adolescents.Method: A quasi-experimental design with a two-group pre-test and post-test design. We collected data through Hb examination before and after the intervention—the sample of 60 early adolescent participants who experienced anemia. The collecting sample was by purposive sampling.Results: Statistical test using the Wilcoxon test obtained an average hemoglobin level after administration of Dragon Fruit juice 13.03 ± 1.27g/dl and an average hemoglobin level after administration of beetroot juice 12.03 ± 0.32g/dl and difference in the difference in hemoglobin levels after administration of Dragon Fruit juice and Beet Fruit juice 1 ± 0.95 g/dl. Statistical test results obtained p-value = 0.001, ɑ: 0.05) p-value (0.001) < (0.05), its means that there is an effect of giving dragon fruit and beetroot juice to anemic adolescents.Conclusion: Dragon fruit and beetroot juice can increase Hb levels in anemic adolescents.Suggestion: For early adolescents is essential to prevent anemia, including consuming foods high in hemoglobin, such as dragon fruit and beetroot.Keywords: Adolescent; Anemia; Beetroot; Dragon Fruit; HaemoglobinPendahuluan: Remaja putri pada dasarnya mengalami menstruasi dan memiliki perilaku kebiasaan makan yang tidak sehat dan tidak mampu mencukupi zat makanan yang di butuhkan oleh tubuh untuk proses sistensis pembentukan Hb. Jika terjadi dalam waktu yang lama akan mengakibatkan kadar Hb berkurang dan menyebabkan anemia. Maka dapat dilihat bahwa remaja putri merupakan kelompok yang paling berisiko tinggi mengalami anemia.Tujuan: Mengetahui efektivitas pemberian jus buah naga dan buah bit terhadap kadar hemoglobin pada remaja anemia.Metode: Quasi eksperiment dengan rancangan two group pre-test and post-test design, data yang dikumpulkan dengan cara pemeriksaan Hb sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 60 partisipan remaja awal yang mengalami anemia diambil dengan tehnik purposive sampling.Hasil: Uji statistic dengan menggunakan uji Wilcoxon diperoleh rata-rata kadar hemoglobin sesudah pemberian jus Buah Naga 13,03 ± 1,27g/dl dan rata-rata kadar hemoglobin sesudah pemberian jus Buah Bit 12,03 ± 0,32g/dl dan perbedaan selisih kadar hemoglobin sesudah pemberian jus Buah Naga dan jus Buah Bit 1 ± 0,95g/dl. Hasil uji statistic diperoleh nilai (p-value=0,001, ɑ: 0,05) nilai p (0,001)< (0,05), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh pemberian jus buah naga dan buah bit terhadap peningkatan kadar HB  pada remaja anemiaSimpulan: Jus buah naga dan buah bit dapat meningkatkan kadar Hb pada remaja anemia.Saran: Bagi remaja awal penting untuk mencegah anemia salah satunya dengan mengkonsumsi zat makanan yang tinggi haemoglobin seperti buah naga dan buah bit.

Abstract

Background: Adolescent mental health is a crucial aspect that influences students' learning process, social development, and quality of life. One common problem experienced by adolescents is academic anxiety due to study pressure, grade demands, and the burden of schoolwork. Low mental health literacy among adolescents results in students lacking understanding of how to manage academic stress healthily. Purpose: To increase mental health knowledge and reduce academic anxiety through an e-booklet-based educational program for students. Method: The program was implemented in 2025 at SMK PGRI Balaraja Tangerang, involving 105 vocational high school students as respondents. The goal was to provide literacy about mental health and academic anxiety levels to students. The program used an educational and participatory approach consisting of preparation, implementation, and evaluation stages. Education was delivered through interactive lectures, discussions, Q&A sessions, and relaxation technique simulations using an e-booklet accessed via students' smartphones. Evaluation used a pre-test and post-test to measure students' levels of academic knowledge and anxiety before and after the intervention. The evaluation results were analyzed using the Wilcoxon test and presented descriptively regarding the increase in mental health literacy and changes in respondents' levels of academic anxiety. Results: The majority of students (92 respondents, 87.6%) were 17 years old, with 57 respondents (54.3%) being female. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' knowledge, categorized as good, from 17.1% to 74.3%. Furthermore, the level of high academic anxiety decreased from 25.8% to 4.7% after receiving e-booklet-based mental health education. Conclusion: E-booklet-based mental health education is effective in increasing students' knowledge and reducing academic anxiety in adolescents. The e-booklet is considered effective because it is easily accessible, engaging, and can be independently reviewed by students. This program can be a promotional and preventive effort to increase mental health literacy and reduce academic anxiety in school adolescents. Suggestion: Schools are expected to continue regular mental health education programs through activities and counseling to help students understand the importance of maintaining mental health. Teachers and other educational staff are also expected to be more active in providing psychological support to students experiencing academic anxiety. Keywords: Academic anxiety; E-booklet; Health education; Knowledge; Teenager Pendahuluan: Kesehatan mental remaja merupakan aspek penting yang memengaruhi proses belajar, perkembangan sosial, dan kualitas hidup siswa. Salah satu masalah yang sering dialami remaja adalah kecemasan akademik akibat tekanan belajar, tuntutan nilai, dan beban tugas sekolah. Rendahnya literasi kesehatan mental pada remaja menyebabkan siswa kurang memahami cara mengatasi stres akademik secara sehat. Tujuan: Untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan kesehatan mental dan menurunkan kecemasan akademik melalui program edukasi berbasis e-booklet pada siswa. Metode: Kegiatan dilaksanakan pada tahun 2025 di SMK PGRI Balaraja Tangerang dengan melibatkan 105 siswa/siswi SMK untuk menjadi responden. Sasarannya adalah pemberian literasi tentang kesehatan mental dan tingkat kecemasan akademik pada siswa. Pelaksanaan kegiatan menggunakan pendekatan edukatif dan partisipatif yang terdiri dari tahap persiapan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Edukasi dilakukan melalui ceramah interaktif, diskusi, tanya jawab, serta simulasi teknik relaksasi menggunakan media e-booklet yang diakses melalui smartphone siswa. Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur tingkat pengetahuan dan kecemasan akademik siswa sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Hasil evaluasi di analisa Wilcoxon test dan disampaikan secara deskriptif mengenai peningkatan literasi kesehatan mental dan perubahan tingkat kecemasan akademik responden.  Hasil: Menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas siswa berusia 17 tahun yaitu sebanyak 92 responden (87.6%), sebagian besar responden berjenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak 57 responden (54.3%) Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan siswa kategori baik dari 17.1% menjadi 74.3%. Selain itu, tingkat kecemasan akademik kategori tinggi menurun dari 25.8% menjadi 4.7% setelah diberikan edukasi kesehatan mental berbasis e-booklet. Simpulan: Edukasi kesehatan mental berbasis e-booklet efektif dalam meningkatkan tingkat pengetahuan siswa dan menurunkan kecemasan akademik pada remaja. Media e-booklet dinilai efektif karena mudah diakses, menarik, dan dapat dipelajari kembali secara mandiri oleh siswa. Program ini dapat menjadi salah satu upaya promotif dan preventif dalam meningkatkan literasi kesehatan mental serta menurunkan kecemasan akademik pada remaja sekolah. Saran: Sekolah diharapkan dapat melanjutkan program edukasi kesehatan mental secara rutin melalui kegiatan maupun bimbingan konseling agar siswa semakin memahami pentingnya menjaga kesehatan mental. Guru dan tenaga pendidik juga diharapkan lebih aktif dalam memberikan dukungan psikologis kepada siswa yang mengalami kecemasan akademik.

Abstract

Study purpose. This study aims to examine and analyze the instructional strategies of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) based on fiqh implemented at STIKes Widya Dharma Husada (WDH) Tangerang within the context of nursing education. This research is motivated by the importance of integrating Islamic values, particularly Islamic jurisprudence (fiqh), into the development of ethical and spiritual competencies among nursing students in accordance with the 2021 AIPNI Curriculum. Material and method. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, involving PAI lecturers, students, and curriculum developers as research subjects. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and document analysis, and were analyzed thematically. The findings reveal that the applied teaching strategies include Problem-Based Learning (PBL), thematic discussions, and contextual simulations. Results. These strategies have been proven effective in enhancing students’ understanding of fiqh and fostering ethical and religious awareness in nursing practice. The lesson plans and syllabi explicitly demonstrate the integration of fiqh into learning outcomes. Students expressed positive responses to the contextual and interactive approach, although several challenges were noted, including limited instructional time and the availability of supporting materials. This study concludes that the application of fiqh-based PAI teaching strategies at STIKes WDH effectively contributes to shaping Islamic character within the nursing profession. Cunclosions. The results offer both theoretical and practical contributions to the development of religious education models in health-related higher education institutions.

Abstract

Latar Belakang: Infeksi saluran pernafasan akut (ISPA) merupakan salah satu penyakit menular yang umum terjadi masyarakat, angka kejadiannya meningkat pada kelompok rentan seperti anak. Tujuan: Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendidikan kesehatan terkait penyakit ISPA serta pemanfaatan rimpang sebagai alternatif pengobatan ISPA. Metode: Pendekatan pendidikan kesehatan menggunakan metode ceramah dan demonstrasi dengan sasaran 39 siswa yang berada dilingkungan yayasan x di wilayah tangerang selatan pada tahun 2025. Hasil: Setelah dilakukan penyuluhan lebih dari 90% siswa mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan dalam pertanyaan definisi, gejala dan cara pencegahan ISPA. Setelah dilakukan penyuluhan lebih dari 80% mengetahui kelompok usia rentan ISPA dan faktor penyebab ISPA. Kesimpulan: Pendidikan kesehatan meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa mengenai ISPA dan pemanfaatan rimpang sebagai alternatif pengobatan. Edukasi ini penting dilakukan secara berkelanjutan guna meningkatkan kesadaran dan pencegahan penyakit ISPA pada anak-anak.
