Abstract

Company performance can be seen from financial ratios and market ratios. High financial ratios and market ratios will attract investor interest, thereby increasing company value. This research has two objectives, namely looking at the influence of financial ratios on company value and analyzing the influence of market ratios on company value in the food and beverage sector. The research sample consisted of 120 annual financial data from 30 food and beverage sector companies listed on IDX consecutively from 2019-2022. The analysis method uses multiple regression tests and classical assumptions with SPSS as an analysis tool. Financial ratios are measured from three ratios, namely the solvency ratio, profitability ratio and liquidity ratio. The market ratio is measured from earnings per share or EPS. The research results show that only financial ratios as measured by profitability ratios can influence company value positively and significantly, while other financial ratios have no effect on company value. The market ratio relationship shows significant and negative influence on company value.

Abstract

The study uses a quantitative approach with an online survey of 150 respondents aged at least 18 years who have access to digital financial services and an interest in sustainable investment, using purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using the Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results show that Financial Literacy and the use of Fintech have a positive effect on Green Investment Intention, while Risk Tolerance has a direct effect and strengthens the relationship between Financial Literacy and Fintech with Green Investment Intention. The research model was able to explain 70.2% of the variation in Green Investment Intention, confirming the importance of cognitive, technological, and psychological factors in encouraging sustainable investment. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of financial literacy, Fintech, and Risk Tolerance as moderating variables in the sustainable financial behavior model among the general public in Indonesia. These findings contribute to the development of sustainable finance literature and provide practical implications for governments, financial institutions, and Fintech providers in designing financial education policies and digital services that support the transition to a green economy.

Abstract

The growth of student entrepreneurship in Semarang City has not been fully accompanied by adequate financial management capabilities. Financial record-keeping problems, particularly the inability to separate personal and business finances, remain prevalent and tend to increase, potentially hindering the sustainability of student-owned MSMEs.  This study aims to examine the effects of Financial Attitude, Financial Self-Efficacy, and Love of Money on the financial management of student entrepreneurs in Semarang City. A quantitative approach with a survey method was employed, involving 182 student entrepreneurs selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) using SmartPLS 4. The results indicate that Financial Attitude, Financial Self-Efficacy, and Love of Money have a positive and significant effect on students’ financial management. The R-square value of 0.670 demonstrates the model’s ability to explain variations in financial management. In conclusion, psychological financial factors play an important role in improving financial management among student entrepreneurs.

Abstract

This study analyzes sectoral business and credit cycles in North Sumatra using quarterly data from 2012 to 2023. Techniques such as the Hodrick-Prescott Filter, Impulse Response Function, Variance Decomposition in a Vector Auto-Regressive framework, and ARDL are applied. The findings indicate that credit growth in agriculture, trade, and household sectors positively influences the business cycle, while manufacturing credit has a negative impact. The trade sector plays the most significant role in shaping the business cycle. Long-term analysis shows a strong link between economic growth and credit distribution in agriculture, manufacturing, and trade. However, the credit gap in productive sectors decreases while rising in households, highlighting the need for policies to manage short-term credit cycles and foster sustainable growth. The trends suggest opportunities to enhance credit distribution in productive sectors while ensuring financial stability.
