Abstract

Abstract

Abstract The Covid-19 pandemic that has occurred in recent years has had such a huge impact on all elements of society, including the Outer Baduy community in Ciboleger. In addition to the economic impact, changes in consumer attitudes have also changed. This research focuses on the empowerment of MSMEs in the Baduy Luar community in Cibologer by using the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) method. This study uses a qualitative approach. Data were collected using interview and observation methods. Based on observations, it was found that the Covid-19 pandemic that occurred did not have a significant effect on the MSMEs of the Baduy community. This is due to the existence of traditional values, culture and traditions that have been carried out and have colored the lives of the Baduy people. This valuable asset must always be preserved so that it does not become extinct due to changing times. For this reason, intensive training is needed for entrepreneurs in the Baduy community in order to provide maximum impact. Abstract

: Long-tailed macaque (LTM) are arboreal primates which have an ecological function as seed dispersers and as controllers of insect populations in their habitat. LTM populations were found in the Tapos National Park Management Resort forest area, MGPNP. The existence of food trees greatly influences the existence and activity of LTM, so knowledge about the diversity of LTM food trees in the Tapos National Park Management Resort area is very important to do. This research aims to determine the level of species dominance in the plant community and diversity of LTM food trees in the Pasir Koja and Pasir Beunyeng Forest Blocks, Tapos Management Resort Area.  Data collection on LTM food trees was carried out using the grid line method of vegetation analysis. Data processing was carried out by calculating the importance value index (IVI) of food tree vegetation and calculating the diversity index (H') of food tree species. The results showed that the highest IVI value in the Pasir Koja forest block was Bamboo (Bambusa sp.) with a value of 106.76%, while Ki acret (Spathodea campanulata) had the lowest IVI value of 10.65%. Meanwhile, the highest IVI value in the Pasir Beunyeng forest block was Kaliandra (Calliandra surinamensis) with an IVI of 166.60%, while reed bamboo (Gigantochloa atter) had the lowest IVI value of 17.62%. The food tree species diversity index in the Pasir Koja and Pasir Beunyeng forest blocks is categorized as low.

Abstract

Abstract

AbstractSoft corals (Nephthea sp.) produce secondary metabolites in their habitat and can be used as marine natural products (MNP). However, Nephthea sp. transplantation not done identified for secondary metabolites. The aim research to identify secondary metabolites and antioxidant activity assay in Nephthea sp. transplant. Samples of Nephthea sp. used from the transplant area of Ujung Kulon National Park (in situ) and from the aquarium as ex situ transplant samples. Both samples extracted by maceration with 70% ethanol (1:3, w/v). Identification of secondary metabolites was carried out qualitatively and using the GC-MS method for quantitative. Antioxidant activity using the DPPH (2,2-diphenyl-1-1 picrylhydrazyl) assay. with concentrations of each sample (10 ppm, 50 ppm, 100 ppm, 150 ppm, and 200 ppm). Nephthea sp. proven to have secondary metabolites from the alkaloids, tannins and steroids. The result of GC-MS showed that six types of active compounds from the benzene and fatty acid groups. Antioxidant activity obtained was 34.3–73.1% (in situ) dan 33.2–72.3% (ex situ) and was significantly different (P <0.05) at each concentration of the two samples. Antioxidant activity at different transplant locations (in situ and ex situ) in Nephthea sp. did not a significant (P >0.05). Thus, Nephthea sp. transplant were proven to contain six types of secondary metabolite compounds and has antioxidant activity.
