Abstract

Abstract : Engklek game is a type of traditional children’s games are quite popular in his time. engklek become the most widely played game, the many variants, both the name and form. In this paper we study about the importance of maintaining engklek game in the middle of the rapids game paced modern luxury. Engklek game is not meant to get rid of the modern game, not antipathy to the modern game. The game is intended as a counterweight engklek between the modern game and traditional games. The analysis in this paper includes the values contained in the game engklek seen from the pattern drawing and playing techniques. The expected result is the kids have fun in the play engklek especially able to absorb the values contained in the game engklek like sportivity, hard work, creativity, and sense of community

Abstract

Abstract

The application of the blended learning model in learning listening skills described to know the learning outcomes and student responses is the aim of this study. The equivalent type of time series quasi-experimental design is the design model used in this study. The samples of the study were twenty one students from the S1 Indonesian Language and Literature Education in the academic year of two thousand nineteen by a purposive sampling method. The outcomes showed that there was an increase in the average student learning outcomes at each level. The result is evidence of improved learning outcomes. From the results of stude nt responses as a whole, students feel enthusiastic due to the blended learning model application which makes them enjoy the process of the learning more. There are eighty-five percent of students enthusiastic due to the blended learning model application which makes them enjoy the process of the learning more, which makes students more motivated, their interest increases, and there is also an increase in students' learning awareness by the application of the blended learning model in listening skills.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 memaksa sekolah berpindah ke pembelajaran daring, menciptakan tantangan dalam menjaga keterlibatan siswa, khususnya dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Jawa. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru-guru Bahasa Jawa tingkat SMP di Yogyakarta dalam merancang dan menerapkan game edukatif sebagai metode pembelajaran inovatif. Melalui workshop daring yang melibatkan MGMP Bahasa Jawa SMP Yogyakarta dan diikuti oleh 45 guru Bahasa Jawa, pengabdian ini mendorong guru untuk mengembangkan dua game edukatif, Flippity dan Educandy. Evaluasi dilakukan berdasarkan keterampilan yang dikembangkan para guru dalam merancang game. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan kompetensi guru dalam integrasi teknologi pendidikan ke dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Jawa. Keberhasilan ini menandai langkah awal yang signifikan dalam adaptasi metode pembelajaran yang responsif dan menarik di era digital.
