Abstract

Millennials have active and creative characters, including in choosing jobs. They choose jobs that are attractive, according to their competencies, provide high income and have the opportunity to develop their careers. Competition in the world of work does not always provide opportunities for everyone to get a job according to their passion and competence. Therefore, it is not uncommon for an employee, including millennial employees, to end up receiving a job that is not in accordance with his expectations and finds it difficult to adapt to the culture of the company where he or she works. This situation can hinder his or her performance. Low performance may cause an employee to face job insecurity and work stress. In every job there is the possibility of work stress, which, if not addressed, may lead to burnout. This study aims to prove and analyze the influence of organizational culture and job insecurity on millennial employee burnout of CV. Mapan Jaja in Surabaya. This research was conducted on millennial employees at CV. Mapan Jaya which has eleven branches in Surabaya with 428 employees. Using purposive multistage sampling, 156 respondents aged 11-30 years were determined. Results of the study prove that organizational culture and job insecurity have a significant effects on burnout of employees of CV. Mapan Jaya in Surabaya.

Abstract

Company leaders have different potential and planning strategies. To develop a company requires leadership and team support. Many of the work teams do not experience positions alternately so that it affects the company's performance commitment. the research method uses library research by collecting several leadership theories and company The purpose of this study is to analyze the leadership model of the exchange of working team members to develop private companies in Indonesia. The results of the study explain that a company led by an entrepreneurial spirit, charismatic, democratic model is able to improve team performance so that the company can develop quickly through planning strategies and periodic evaluations from leaders and members of the work team. To thrive in the future and be profitable, teams and organizations can work alternately in a job title in a team member exchange leadership system.

Abstract

PT Perkebunan Nusantara I (PTPN I) is an Indonesian State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) specializing in plantation operations, particularly the cultivation and processing of primary commodities, including rubber, coffee, and tea. Additionally, the company engages in secondary ventures such as tobacco production, plastic sack manufacturing, and asset optimization. As of December 1, 2023, PTPN I functions as a subholding entity with regional offices strategically located in Sumatra, Java, and Sulawesi to enhance operational efficiency. The company was originally established in Aceh in 1961 as PPN Kesatuan Aceh, marking the beginning of its long-standing presence in the industry.This study aims to analyze the impact of transformational leadership, internal communication, and work ability on both organizational commitment and organizational performance at PTPN I’s Surabaya region. Utilizing a quantitative causal-explanatory approach, primary data was collected through structured questionnaires. The target population comprised employees of PTPN I in Surabaya, with 100 respondents selected via purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques included descriptive statistics and SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares). Findings reveal that transformational leadership, internal communication, and work ability significantly and positively influence organizational commitment. Likewise, transformational leadership, work ability, and organizational commitment exhibit a significant positive relationship with organizational performance. However, although internal communication has a favorable effect, its impact on organizational performance is not statistically significant in this context.
