Abstract

Social media has experienced rapid development and has had a significant impact on various aspects of life, including the broiler livestock industry. Social media plays an important role in increasing the practical skills needed for effective broiler livestock raising management, including playing a role in providing easy and fast access to information, education, and interaction between individuals. This research aimed to analyze the influence of social media roles as an information medium, educational medium, and networking & communication medium for mastering broiler management. The research method used a quantitative approach using a survey method. Data were collected through direct interviews using structured questionnaires with a Likert scale of 1-5, observation, and documentation. The data was then analyzed by multiple regression analysis and descriptive analysis. The results indicate that the variables of information media, educational media, and networking & communication media simultaneously significantly affect broiler management mastery. Specifically, variables of information media and networking & communication media have a significant influence on management mastery, while educational media does not. It can be concluded that social media plays a significant role in enhancing broiler management mastery, with information media being the most dominant variable. The findings of this study are expected to serve as a foundation for optimizing the use of social media in the broiler livestock industry, thereby improving the effectiveness and efficiency of management practices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pendapatan peternak sapi perah di Kelompok Ternak Margo Makmur Mandiri Dusun Brau, menganalisis peran kelompok ternak sebagai unit usaha, wahana kerjasama dan kelas belajar terhadap pendapatan peternak sapi perah, serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi peran kelompok ternak terhadap tingkat pendapatan peternak sapi perah di Kelompok Ternak Margo Makmur Mandiri, Dusun Brau. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu survey dengan observasi secara langsung dan wawancara menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur sebagai alat pengambilan data. Sampel responden yang digunakan peternak sapi perah yang tergabung sebagai anggota aktif dalam Kelompok Ternak Margo Makmur Mandiri sejumlah 50 orang. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis ekonomi, analisis regresi linier berganda, dan analisis descriptive. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata tingkat pendapatan peternak yang tergabung dalam Kelompok Ternak Margo Makmur Mandiri sebesar Rp. 1.607.798/bulan. Kelompok Ternak Margo Makmur Mandiri  dapat berperan dalam meningkatkan pendapatan peternak di Dusun Brau, Kota Batu, Jawa Timur khususnya dalam hal fasilitas kerjasama dengan pihak luar, pertemuaan berkala, dan berkelanjutan, serta fasilitas komunikasi dengan sumber informasi dan teknologi yang disediakan. Kata kunci: peran kelompok ternak, pendapatan peternak sapi perah, peternakan sapi perah The Role of Livestock Group Margo Makmur Mandiri Towards Dairy Farmer’s Income at Brau Village, Batu CityABSTRACTThis research purposes were to find out the income level of dairy farmer’s at Brau Village as well as to analyze the role of livestock group for business unit, cooperation facility, and study group towards dairy farmer’s income at Brau Village, Batu, and to identify factors influencing the role of livestock group to dairy farmers’s income. The research method used was survey method. Data were obtained from direct interview by using structured questionnaire. Sample used in this research determined by purposive sampling with a number of 50 respondents of dairy farmers. Data were analyzed by using economic analysis, multiple regression analysis, and descriptive analysis. The results revealed that the average income of dairy farmers member of Margo Makmur Mandiri livestock group was 1,607,798 IDR per month per farmer. In addition, Margo Makmur Mandiri livestock group can play a role in term of increasing the income of dairy farmer’s especially in cooperation facility with related outsider groups, periodic meetings, and also communication facilities with provided information and technology resources. Keywords: The role of livestock groups, dairy farmer’s income, dairy cattle

Abstract

Peningkatan produktivitas tanaman dipengaruhi oleh kandungan unsur hara yang salah satunya terdapat pada pupuk kotoran kambing. Mayoritas masyarakat Desa Sumberurip memiliki lahan perkebunan dan hewan ternak. Namun, hasil observasi secara langsung bahwa kotoran kambing di Desa Sumberurip digunakan langsung ke tanaman tanpa pengolahan. Sehingga, sangat penting dilakukan pelatihan melalui pemanfaatan dan pengolahan kotoran kambing menjadi pupuk organik yang bisa dimanfaatkan untuk pertanian-perkebunan. Tujuan utama kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah meningkatkan kesadaran, pengetahuan dan keterampilan peternak terhadap pentingnya pengolahan limbah kotoran kambing (feses) menjadi pupuk organik/kompos untuk meningkatkan produktivitas tanaman sekaligus penerapan konsep sirkular ekonomi. Kegiatan dilakukan selama bulan Juli - Agustus 2024. Metode yang digunakan adalah identifikasi masalah melalui observasi dan survey, penyuluhan, demonstrasi, diskusi-tanya jawab, serta monitoring evaluasi (monev). Capaian program kerja adalah kelompok tani mempunyai respon positif, bisa menerapkan pengolahan limbah kotoran kambing menjadi pupuk dengan proses fermentasi dilakukan dengan baik, namun didapatkan hasil monitoring bahwa 3/5 rumah masih belum menerapkan pengolahan limbah kotoran kambing menjadi pupuk organik.

Abstract

The halal certification process for fresh beef faces challenges due to many non-certified slaughterhouses, as seen in Bondowoso Regency, which has a large cattle population but lacks halal certification. The objective of this study was to ascertain the impact of halal knowledge and awareness on purchasing decisions for fresh, unpackaged beef in the Bondowoso Regency area. Total 98 respondents were selected using the purposive sampling method. The collected data is statistically analysed through a descriptive analysis, research instrument testing, classical assumption testing, and multiple regression analysis. The findings revealed that the majority of respondents were civil servants, with an average education level of a bachelor's degree, and the majority fell within the 21-36 age range. The results of the F-test indicated that the calculated F-value (35.543) was greater than the tabulated F-value (3.09), thereby rejecting the null hypothesis. Similarly, the results of the t-test indicates that both variables exert a considerable positive influence on purchasing decisions for fresh, unpackaged beef products, with a total impact of 41.6%. The findings of the research indicate that halal knowledge and halal awareness have a significant impact on the purchasing decisions of consumers for unpackaged fresh beef products.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik peternak yang mengikuti program Sekolah Peternakan Rakyat (SPR) dan menganalisis tingkat kepuasan peternak terhadap program SPR Maju Bersama di Kecamatan Kedungadem Kabupaten Bojonegoro, dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari - Maret 2023. Metode penelitian menggunakan survei dengan pengamatan langsung di lapang dan interview berdasarkan kuesioner terstruktur dengan skala likert skor 1-5. Variabel penelitian meliputi 5 dimensi: tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, dan emphaty. Sampel penelitian ditentukan secara total sampling sebanyak 50 peternak yang aktif tergabung dalam Program SPR. Data selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan analisis Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) dan Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden berusia di atas 50 tahun dengan tingkat pendidikan SMA, memiliki ternak kurang dari 5 ekor dengan lama pengalaman beternak antara 5-10 tahun. Mayoritas peternak telah bergabung dengan Program SPR selama 7-9 tahun (70%). Berdasarkan perhitungan analisis CSI diperoleh skor 79,09% yang berarti bahwa peternak puas terhadap implementasi program SPR. Hasil analisis IPA menunjukkan bahwa Program SPR di Kecamatan Kedungadem Kabupaten Bojonegoro telah terlaksana dengan baik sesuai dengan harapan anggota SPR tetapi ada beberapa atribut pada Kuadran I yang menjadi prioritas utama untuk ditingkatkan kinerjanya meliputi atribut kelengkapan fasilitas SPR, atribut keakuratan petugas dalam memberikan solusi kepada peternak, atribut ketepatan dalam melakukan recording ternak, serta pelaksanaan edukasi melalui sosialisasi dan praktik langsung.

Abstract

Agro Tawon Rimba Raya Tourism Picking Honey Lawang is one of the locations for selling honey from Tawon Rimba Raya Lawang (TRRL). The Research objectives were: 1). To identify the consumer characteristics on honey purchasing decisions in the COVID-19 pandemic era, 2). To analyze the influence of the implications of the 7p marketing mix on the decision purchasing TRRL honey in the COVID-19 pandemic era, and 3). To analyzed factors influenced the decision to purchase TRRL honey in the pandemic COVID-19 era. The research method used survey method. The research sample was conducted through purposive and accidental sampling on 100 respondents. The data collection technique used direct observation, interviews with structured questionnaires as research instruments, and documentation. Data then analyzed with descriptive analysis, factor analysis and multiple regression analysis using IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The results indicated that the characteristics of TRRL honey consumers in the COVID-19 Pandemic era were male and female with an age ranging of 17-27 years old, with education level of Senior/Vocational High School/equivalent, have an occupation as entrepreneurial work, and having average income per month > IDR 3,000,000.-. 7p marketing mix that affects the purchase of TRRL honey consists of product including: price, process, promotion and place variables.

Abstract

The study aims to determine consumers profile of klatak satay as well as the effect of product attribute, price, and store image towards purchasing decision of klatak satay at Mr. Bari's Klatak Satay Stall. The study was conducted Mr. Bari's Klatak Satay Stall, Wonokromo Market, Jalan Imogiri Timur number 5, Pleret, Bantul, Yogyakarta from November to December 2022. The research sample chosen by purposive sampling as much as 100 respondent. Data collected by direct observation, interviews using structured questionnaires, and documentation. Data then analyzed by using descriptive analysis, validity test, reliability test, factor analysis, classic assumption test, multiple regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results showed the characteristics of consumers who purchase Mr. Bari's Klatak Satay Stall dominated by male age ranging of 18-28 years old with education level graduated form bachelor degree and work as self-employed have an average income >IDR 5.000.000/month with the origin of domicile outside the Province of Yogyakarta and mostly got information about Mr. Bari's Klatak Satay Stall from recommendations from friends, relatives or family. It can be concluded that product attribute variables and store image variables affect the purchasing decision of klatak satay at Mr. Bari's Klatak Satay Stall, while the price variable did not affect the purchasing decision of klatak satay at Mr. Bari's Klatak Satay Stall. The most influential variable on the purchasing decision of klatak satay at Mr. Bari's Klatak Satay Stall is the store image variable

Abstract

ABSTRAK. Penelitian bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh sifat inovasi (meliputi relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, trialability, observability) terhadap tingkat adopsi inovasi peternak plasma broiler dalam penerapan sapta usaha peternakan yang tergabung dalam PT. Pitik Digital Indonesia pada Program Bertani Untuk Negeri (BUN) Batch 5. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode survei. Data primer diperoleh melalui observasi lapang, wawancara menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur dengan skala likert skor 1-5, serta dokumentasi. Penelitian dilakukkan pada bulan November – Desember 2022 kepada peternak dampingan FDA yang berada di Provinsi banten, Jawa Barat, dan Jawa Tengah. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive sampling) kepada 30 peternak responden, dengan kriteria merupakan peternak broiler binaan PT. Pitik Digital Indonesia Program BUN Batch 5. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dan analisis descriptive. Untuk melihat kelayakan instrumen penelitian dan kualitas data yang dikumpulkan, dilakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat adopsi inovasi berdasarkan sifat inovasi pada penerapan sapta usaha peternakan di BUN 5 dari keseluruhan skor memiliki nilai rataan skor sebesar 4,02 (kategori setuju) dimana masing-masing nilai variabel sifat inovasi sebagai berikut: keunggulan relative (4,01), kompatibilitas (4,04), kompleksitas (3,61), trialability (4,13), dan observability (4,19). Berdasarkan tingkat golongan adopter merupakan kelompok mayoritas awal (early adopter). Sedangkan hasil perhitungan analisis regresi berganda menunjukkan bahwa semua variabel sifat inovasi berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap adopsi inovasi penerapan sapta usaha ternak.Kata kunci: Adopsi inovasi, Farmers Development Associate (FDA), implementasi sapta usaha ternakAdoption of Innovation of Broiler Plasm Farmers at PT Pitik Digital Indonesia Under Bertani untuk Negeri Program Towards The Implementation of Seven Livestock BusinessABSTRACT. This research was conducted to determine the level of adoption of innovations in the application of seven livestock business as well as to analyze the influence of adoption innovation of five innovation characteristics including relative advantage, compatibility, complexity, trialability, observability towards the application of seven livestock business,in three provinces of Banten, West Java and Central Java. The research method use survey, while data collection was carried out by using direct observation, interview with a structured questionnaire, and documentation. Likert scale score 1-5 used to measure the farmers response of five characteristic of seven livestock business. The sampling technique was carried out by purposive sampling, with the criterion were broiler farmers assisted of PT. Pitik Digital Indonesia Bertani Untuk Negeri (BUN) Batch 5 as much as 30 respondents. Data were analysed by using multiple regression analysis and descriptive analysis. The results showed that the level of adoption of innovation based on characteristic innovation on the implementation of seven livestock business broiler farmers have an average score 4.02 (agree category) or moderate category, where each variable value was as follows: relative advantage (4.01), compatibility (4.04), complexity (3.61), trialability (4.13), and observability (4.19). Based on the adopter group classification, it include in the early majority group. Meanwhile, based on multiple regression analysis, it can be seen that five characteristics of innovation have no significant effect on broiler farmers of adoption innovation towards application of seven livestock busines.

Abstract

The performance of UPT PT HMT Batu employees plays a vital role in achieving successful cow milk production. Because whether a company is successful or not is greatly influenced by the performance of its human resources. UPT PT HMT Batu will not be able to run well if it does not have employees who can carry out their duties well. The time and location of the research were carried out from 6 – 27 November 2023 at UPT PT HMT Batu. The research method used is a mixture or combination of quantitative and qualitative methods in one study. The data collection technique was carried out using a Likert scale questionnaire given deliberately to 30 respondents selected using purpose sampling who were UPT PT HMT Batu employees. Research data was analyzed using multiple linear analyses to determine the relationship between the independent and dependent variables. The research results show that the independent variables, namely work quality, time discipline, and work experience, influence the success of cow's milk production, and the workload and working hours variables do not significantly influence.
