Abstract

Storytelling method is one of method that was often used in early childhood learning. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the implementation of storytelling method in early childhood learning. This study used qualitative method through descriptive approach which is located in Ar-Raihan Kindergarten, Bireuen Regency, Aceh. This study selected three teachers as research sample. Data collection technique used interview, while the process of data analysis was carried out through recording and transcribing then was narrated in discussion by using coding technique. The discussion is narrated in three stages, namely understanding, teaching techniques and implementation. The result of understanding clarified that teachers understood on the storytelling method that was applied in learning process. In teaching technique, those teachers have chosen story books according to the topic and sub-topic based on the lesson plan. While at the implementation, teachers set rules in order that classroom condition was conducive and fun, and they used media which can help to achieve storytelling goal in order to develop children's early literacy, and children are able to apply values of stories in daily life.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengindentifikasi model pembelajaran dimasa pandemi Covid-19. Adanya Covid-19 yang mewajibkan peserta didik untuk belajar dirumah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk Mengetahui Upaya guru dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran daring di era Covid-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui pendekatan deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dukumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan Pheomenologinal Analysis dari Creswell yaitu data Managing, Reading dan Memoing, Describing, Classifiying dan Interpreting kemudian Representing dan Visualizing. Hasil penelitian ditemukan upaya guru dalam mengembangkan pembelajaran daring di era Covid-19 ada dua indikator yaitu melalui komunitas belajar Home Visit dan apresiasi bintang Star Board. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah guru dapat menggunakan berbagai upaya untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran anak usia dini dimasa pandemi covid-19.

Abstract

Pendidikan adalah salah satu keperluan dasar bagi pembangunan sebuah negara, karena setiap negara maju didasari oleh perkembangan pendidikan yang berkualitas. Pendidikan anak usia dini dilaksanakan secara menyeluruh dalam berbagai aspek melalui kegiatan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan, kreatif serta bermakna. Salah satu aspek yang dikembangkan dalam pendidikan anak usia dini adalah aspek bahasa, sehingga perlu adanya stimulasi dan pengembangan yang kaya terhadap bahasa yang dapat memberikan kontribusi penting dalam proses komunikasi anak dan membuat anak menjadi mahir berbahasa dalam berbagai kondisi dan situasi. Melalui penelitian ini peneliti telah meninjau proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode bercerita untuk mengembangkan bahasa anak usia dini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan bahasa anak usia dini melalui metode bercerita. Metode bercerita adalah sebuah strategi pembelajaran yang juga merupakan suatu keterampilan bahasa secara lisan yang bersifat produktif dalam mengembangkan bahasa anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan melalui observasi yang diamati pada tiga orang anak. Obsevasi dilakukan berdasarkan enam aspek perkembangan selama tujuh hari pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini telah menunjukkan bahwa dampak metode bercerita terhadap pengembangan bahasa anak meningkat yang mana hasil tersebut dapat dilihat dari nilai pencapaian yang meningkat pada tahap berkembang sesuai harapan (BSH) dan berkembang sangat baik (BSB). Implikasi penelitian ini adalah metode bercerita dapat digunakan untuk mengembangkan berbagai aspek perkembangan anak usia dini.

Abstract

Bullying behavior is an issue that is often discussed today. This behavior is often found in environments that are not supposed to be, such as in the school and family environment. Bullying behavior is an aggressive or violent action that can lead to conflict between the perpetrator and the victim. This community service activity is an act of outreach that aims to provide education and to prevent the students so they don't commit acts of bullying within the school environment or outside the school environment. The method used in this activity is in the form of giving material in the form of lectures and questions and answers. The results of socialization activities show that students are very motivated in the activity process and can understand the material and information conveyed by the speakers. The implication of this activity is that students are aware of the negative impact of bullying behavior and are responsible for efforts to prevent this behavior in their daily environment.

Abstract

It is very important to encourage the development of speech from an early age, because it is one of the most essential aspects of development. This research was conducted at Putroe Nahrisyah Kindergarten, Lhokseumawe City, this is because researchers found problems in group B children that children's speaking skills have not developed, this can be proven that children do not have the confidence to communicate, are quiet, less active, rarely express ideas and lack of interaction between teachers and children during the learning process. This study aims to improve the speaking ability of children aged five to six years through the application of puppet media. This study was conducted on 10 students consisting of six boys and four girls. This study is a classroom action research conducted in two cycles using observation sheets and documentation. The results of the study from cycle I showed that the percentage for Developing As Expected and Developing Very Well was 60%, while in cycle II there was an increase in the percentage value of Developing As Expected and Developing Very Well which was 80%, this proves that puppet media is able to improve children's speaking skills. The implications of this study are expected to be a reference in developing various aspects of early childhood abilities.
