Abstract

Mutual respect and help others in learning are expected to improve students’ learning outcomes. The learning characteristics of elementary school thematic-integrative with scientific approach become challenges for teachers to develop learning activities that has to instilling noble values to the students. The purpose of this study is to develop the learning device that inserts the character values for the students through the learning activities. The type of this research is a Research and Development. The development model used is a four D Models that are: Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The subjects of this study are a teacher at SDN 03 Alai Padang, a teacher at SDN Percobaan Padang and IV.B grade students of SDN 03 Alai Padang. The finding of this Research and Development is a teacher’s handbook integrated with lesson plans and student learning books. The findings can be used in learning process to improve students' cooperative skills, instilling character values and improving students' learning outcomes.Keyword: Thematic Education, Character building.

Abstract

Kemajuan Teknologi merupakan faktor dalam menunjang usaha pembaharuan dalam pembelajaran. Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif untuk guru mata pelajaran di SMK. Dengan adanya teknologi modern dalam bidang komunikasi telah mempengaruhi berbagai sektor termasuk pendidikan. Pendidikan adalah kebutuhan pokok setiap manusia dapat meningkatkan harkat dan martabat manusia. Pendidikan menghadapi tantangan globalisasi yang menuntut manusia menguasia ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi. Dengan pamakaian media pembelajaran interaktif untuk Guru SMK diharapkan dapat membantu disaat guru tidak bisa hadir dalam menyampaikan materi di dalam kelas . Media pembelajaran interkatif ini dapat mengurai suasana statis dan dapat menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang efektif. Pemanfaatan komputer dalam media pembelajaran membutuhkan aplikasi pendukung yang sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran.

Abstract

Increasingly fierce competition cannot be avoided by every company that wants to develop its business. The increasing intensity of competition and the number of competitors requires companies to always pay attention to customer needs and desires and try to meet customer expectations by providing more satisfying services than competitors do. Thus, only quality companies can compete and dominate the market. The aim of the research is to see what strategies analysis are carried out by the Dadok Tunggul Hitam Padang Laundry to improve the quality and productivity of its services. This research uses qualitative methods and is classified as field research with semi-structured interviews and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings from this research are that the Dadok Tunggul Hitam laundry has several strategies to improve its quality and productivity in serving its customers

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh pembelajaran yang masih bersifat teacher center. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan hasil pelajaran siswa dalam mata pelajaraan matematika menggunakan metode demonstrasi dengan materi pembelajaran perkalian bilangan dua angka pada siswa kelas II SDMis Koto VIII Pelangai. Penelitian ini digolongkan ke dalam penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif serta menggunakan metode quasi experiment. Penelitian ini di laksanakan pada siswa kelas II SD MIS KOTO VII Pelangai. Intrumen penelitian ini dikembangkan untuk menilai keefektifan penggunaan metode demontrasi pada pembelajaran matematika. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pada tahap efektivitas menggunakan analisis statistika yaitu persamaan Paired Sample Test dengan hasil sig (2-tailed) 0,000 < nilai alfa 0,05 artinya bahwa nilai Sig.2 tailed (0,000) kecil dari nilai alfa ( 0,05) sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Hi diterima, artinya terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara hasil belajar matematika siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan metode demontrasi.

Abstract

Currently, competition in the world of work is getting tougher and unemployment is increasing. Forcing the government to immediately overcome unemployment by expanding job opportunities is impossible. Unemployment does not only come from people who do not have expertise in certain fields but also from employees who are retired early by companies, both large and small companies. Thus, you can imagine how many Indonesians do not have jobs. In this case there must be awareness from the whole community to play an active role in overcoming unemployment because the government only helps with government programs such as UKM (Small and Medium Enterprises). When running a small and medium business, you need a business analysis so that the business can run well, one of these businesses is a Padang restaurant. The aim of the research is to analyze small and medium Padang restaurant businesses. This research uses qualitative methods and is classified as field research with semi-structured interviews and documentation as data collection techniques. The findings from this research are that there are several things that need to be improved in managing a Padang restaurant business, including: the quality of the food must remain stable, the taste of the employees is friendly, the business premises are clean, prayer places must be provided and so on.
