Abstract

This study aims to increase students' understanding of social studies subjects by using strategies or soft card techniques. The research subjects were conducted on all 33 students in class VI, with 19 male students and 14 female students accompanied by the class teacher. This research is a classroom action research with the Kemmis and McTaggart models. Kemmis and McTaggart's model has four stages with two cycles. The procedure for carrying out the actions at the research location was divided into two cycles accompanied by pre-cycles. Collecting data in this study, namely by interviews, observations, documentation and tests orally during learning takes place. The results showed that the increase in students' knowledge at the pre-cycle stage of the average value of students' understanding was at an average value of 47 in the "low" category. In cycle I the value of students' understanding has increased to an average value of 77 in the "Moderate" category. In cycle 2, the increase in students' understanding is said to be valid because it has reached an average value of 92 in the "High" category. It can be concluded that Soft Card strategies or techniques can improve students' understanding of class VI on social studies at SD Negeri Banyuajah 2

Abstract

Learning mathematics is an important aspect for students in everyday life. For that we need a very good method of learning mathematics so that students feel fun in learning takes place. This article aims to provide an overview of the effectiveness of the application of playing card learning media in mathematics during online learning at Banyuajuh 2 elementary school. This research is a mixed quantitative and qualitative research (mix method). Data were initially collected using quantitative methods followed by qualitative methods. The target population of this study were students at Banyuajuh 2 Kamal elementary school. In addition, the samples used by the researcher were 2 elementary school students in grades 3, 6 and 4. The instruments used by researchers are interviews and observation and documentation. The results of the study show that during online learning the teacher has used various media to be able to increase students' motivation and understanding of the mathematics subject in the distribution material. However, the media that is most popular and increases student motivation and understanding is playing cards. As many as 88% of students stated that they preferred playing card media compared to other media during online learning. This makes their motivation and understanding of the division material in mathematics subjects greater. From the results of this study it can be concluded that playing card media is effective in increasing students' motivation and understanding in the distribution of mathematics subject matter

Abstract

Science learning does not require that students only understand the material in theory, but students must be able to learn the theory they have learned. One of the facilities for carrying out practicum activities is the laboratory. Laboratory facilities certainly have elements of laboratory management and utilization which make all laboratory activities more systematic so that laboratory use can run optimally. The purpose of this research is to find out the management and utilization of laboratories at Banyuajuh 2 Elementary School before the pandemic and after the Covid-19 pandemic. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique used is interview. Based on the research results obtained, the Banyuajuh 2 Elementary School has a laboratory facility in which there are many laboratory tools that can be used in science learning. The school also has manuals or SOPs for laboratory management and use. During the Covid-19 pandemic, all students carried out courageous learning and carried out practical work independently at their respective homes

Abstract

One of the characteristics of elementary school students is that they like to play and get dirty. These characteristics can be taken into consideration to choose the right method of learning activities. This study aims to determine the relationship between farming activities and the naturalist intelligence of elementary school students. Naturalist intelligence is one of the 9 types of intelligence according to Gardner. The data collection method in this study was carried out by means of field observations and literature searches. As a result, farming activities are very suitable for elementary school children who basically like to play and get dirty. These activities will certainly make children more enthusiastic, active, and interactive. This makes learning more well-received by children when interspersed with direct practice such as farming. In addition, farming skills in children are able to stimulate cognitive aspects of children, especially about the types of plants about the parts of plants, get to know what things plants need to live, for example water, soil, sunlight, and so on. Knowledge of flora and how to plant and care for it will be able to shape children into individuals who are full of compassion for other living things. Thus, the application of farming is good in increasing children's naturalist intelligence

Abstract

This study aims to increase the activeness and competence of students in Indonesian class IV subjects at Banyuajuh 2 elementary school through the application of discovery learning methods. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR) with the Kemmis and Mc Taggart model which was carried out in two research cycles. The subjects of this study were the fourth grade students of elementary school Banyuajuh 2 for the 2022/2023 academic year, totaling 25 students. Data collection techniques in this study used observation for the implementation of learning and student activity, tests for cognitive competence, and documentation. The success indicator of this research is more than 70% activeness of students and 75% of students reach KKM of 76. The results show that through the application of the Discovery Learning learning method can increase student activity and competence in Indonesian subjects. This can be seen from: (1) an increase in student activity in each cycle. The activeness of students in the first cycle was 31.29%, and the second cycle was 71.83%; (2) an increase in class average and student learning completeness. The average class in the first cycle is 75.74, and the second cycle is 87.33. Students' learning mastery as measured by cognitive competency tests in the first cycle was 60%, and the second cycle was 92%.

Abstract

Mathematics is one of the compulsory subjects taught at all levels of education. Even so, mathematics is still considered the most difficult subject in the minds of many students. One of the causes of this is the learning model used by the teacher is not in accordance with the characteristics of students. This research is a classroom action research that aims to determine the increase in mathematics learning outcomes through the application of the teams tournament model in class III SDN Banyuaju 2. Data collection in this study used data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, tests, and documentation with quantitative qualitative data analysis techniques. . The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in student learning outcomes in mathematics in each cycle. In cycle I, the average student learning outcomes reached a score of 68 with the percentage of students completing 50%. These results have not reached the target of success. Therefore, repetition of actions is carried out, in which the teacher in cycle II is more motivating and monitoring students during learning so that students are more focused. The results obtained were that the average score of students increased to 84 with the percentage of students completing 100%. This shows that the application of the teams games tournament model can improve student learning outcomes
