Abstract

The Student Teams Achievement Division is one of the simplest cooperative learning methods, and is the best model to start with for teachers who use a cooperative approach. This type of research is classroom action research. The aim of this research is to find out the improvement of students' mathematics learning outcomes in trigonometry by applying the Student Teams Achievement Division type of cooperative learning model. The research subjects were students of class XI MIPA 1 SMA Taman Rama Denpasar in the academic year 2021/2022. The object of the research is the application of the Student Teams Achievement Division type of cooperative learning model and the students' mathematics learning outcomes. In this study through four stages of the activity process which includes (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) evaluation and reflection. Data collection techniques using test and observation methods. The results showed that the application of the Student Teams Achievement Division learning model could improve the mathematics learning outcomes of students in class XI MIPA 1 SMA Taman Rama Denpasar in the 2021/2022 academic year.

Abstract

Problem solving learning model is a learning model that presents material by confronting students with problems that must be solved. The aims of this study are (1) to determine whether there is a response and whether the application of the problem solving learning model with the zoom application can improve learning outcomes in answering questions in linear algebra courses. This type of research is classroom action research. The subjects of this research are 6th semester students of the Mathematics Education Study Program, Universitas PGRI Mahadewa Indonesia for the academic year 2021/2022, and the object of this research is a study of understanding linear algebra courses and student responses to problem solving learning models. In this study through four stages of the activity process which includes (1) planning, (2) action, (3) observation, and (4) evaluation and reflection. Data collection techniques using test and observation methods. The results showed that (1) the application of the problem solving learning model could improve the ability to answer questions in linear algebra courses. (2) There is a positive response from students towards the application of problem solving learning models to improve the ability to answer questions in linear algebra courses for 6th semester students of the Mathematics Education Study Program, Universitas PGRI Mahadewa Indonesia for the 2021/2022 academic year.

Abstract

Classroom Action Research (CAR) is a study that raises actual problems faced by teachers in the field. By implementing CAR, teachers have a dual role as practitioners and researchers. The purpose of this service is to provide socialization and deepening in the writing of PTK and scientific articles to be published in ISSN and accredited journals. HTA training is carried out at SMK Negeri 3 Sukawati starting with a systematic study of the problem. CAR is very useful for teachers to improve the quality of the process and learning outcomes in the classroom. The methods used are socialization and mentoring. Components in the action research cycle (1) plan, (2) action, (3) Observation (4) Reflective. In accordance with book 4 and book 5 teacher professional guidance and development, journal requirements that can contain scientific articles include: published by universities, professional organizations, ministries, non-ministerial government agencies, research and development institutions, educational institutions, involving qualified bestari partners. with journals from various universities, has e-ISSN, maintains consistency in writing style and appearance format, has a DOI or digital object identifier. There is one thing that must be considered so that the HTA and Journal articles can pass the Credit Score assessment by the Assessment Team, namely the principles of APIK (Original, Necessary, Scientific, and Consistent).

Abstract

The times, students and teachers are required to be creative, innovative and know all the information that can be received through ICT-based learning media. The purpose of this service is to overcome the problem of lack of teacher knowledge in the development of information communication and technology (ICT)-based learning media. Activities are carried out in two stages, namely socialization activities, and mentoring. ICT-based learning does not always have advantages but also disadvantages in its application. One of the applications of ICT in learning is the use of learning media that can improve the quality of students' abilities. Multimedia-based learning such as technology that involves text, images, sound and video can present subject matter that is more interesting, not monotonous, and facilitates delivery. Through mentoring activities, the development of ICT-based learning prepared by teachers can improve its quality, so that the learning process is in line with the demands of skills according to the development of the times based on science and technology. The use of the internet in the world of teaching will help the world of teaching increase the quantity of students. The results of PKM socialization and mentoring at SMA Taman Rama Denpasar, resulted in outcomes and achievement targets 1) The preparation of an ICT-based Learning Implementation Plan (RPP) for each subject. 2) certificates for teachers who participate in socialization and mentoring.

Abstract

Era 5.0 or Super Smart Society (society 5.0) was introduced by the Japanese Government in 2019. After entering the era of the industrial revolution, Indonesia will enter the era of society 5.0. There are three main abilities in dealing with society 5.0, namely the ability to solve complex problems and become a problem solver for oneself and also many people, the ability to think critically in everyday life in the environment and society. Society 5.0 can be interpreted as the integrity of virtual and physical space, so that everything becomes easy. In welcoming the era of society 5.0, education plays an important role in producing human resources (HR). Apart from education, there are several elements that have a role to support, such as the government, community organizations (ormas) and the entire community also taking part in welcoming the upcoming era of society 5.0. In this case, we as students also need to have the readiness and ability to think Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS), develop soft and hard skills to be able to answer the global challenges of the era of society 5.0. This is done to minimize the gap in the mindset and technology of each individual. In the era of society 5.0, humans are required to more quickly produce solutions to meet their needs. This has an impact on humans to continue to explore information, as well as create new innovations to support survival.

Abstract

Higher order thinking skills or Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) are thinking skills that are not just remembering, restating, and also referring without processing, but the ability to think critically, creatively, and be able to solve problems. The objectives of this PKM activity were (1) to understand the principles of making modules based on HOTS questions, (2) to find out the technical steps for making modules based on HOTS questions, (3) to understand the components contained in modules based on HOTS questions. The method used is socialization and mentoring. Material presentation on the principles of making modules based on HOTS questions by the Service Team from UPMI. The participants in this activity were 12 teachers of Public Elementary Schools 1, 2 and 4 of Kaba-Kaba, Kediri sub-district, Tabanan district. The results of this PKM activity are: (1) the trainees understand the principle of making HOTS question-based modules, (2) to understand the technical steps of HOTS question-based modules, (3) understand the components contained in HOTS question-based modules, ( 4) The team from each school produced 1 module based on HOTS questions, and (5) the training participants were very enthusiastic about participating in socialization activities and mentoring in writing HOTS question-based modules and responded positively, so this PKM activity was very useful in relation to improving the quality of teacher competence in learning in school.

Abstract

STAD type cooperative learning emphasizes collaboration in groups, student-centered learning and awards for the best team will make students more active and enthusiastic, especially activities in communicating with fellow study groups. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in learning outcomes with the application of cooperative learning models in flat and spatial geometry courses in improving student learning outcomes. This type of research is action research with qualitative data. In this action research done collaboratively. The subjects of this study were students of Mathematics Education in the fourth semester of PGRI Mahadewa University, Indonesia, for the 2023/2024 academic year. The object of research is the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model and student learning outcomes in the subject of flat and spatial geometry. The research was carried out in two cycles and each cycle consisted of four stages, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The results of the action show that the results of cycles I and II and their supporting factors so that the application of the STAD type cooperative learning model in flat and spatial geometry courses can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The problem-based learning model is a learning model that presents a problem that is closely related to the real world, especially in students' daily lives. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of applying the Problem Based Learning learning model on students' critical thinking skills in trigonometry learning at 10 SMA Taman Rama students. The population in this study were all students of SMA Taman Rama class X for the academic year 2023/2024, totaling 79 students. The sampling technique in this study used simple random sampling. The sample in this study was 40 students by taking 2 classes, namely class 10.1 as an experimental class totaling 19 students and class 10.2 as a control class totaling 21 students. This research instrument uses a test sheet. Data analysis techniques in this study used prerequisite tests and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the application of the problem-based learning learning model had an effect on students' critical thinking skills, because the results of the t-test analysis obtained a significance value (sig.2-tailed) of 0.000 <0.05, then Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. The results of data analysis obtained on average after being given treatment using the problem-based learning model in the experimental class, namely 80.5. Meanwhile, students in the control class on average without being given a problem-based learning model were 72.5.

Abstract

Maximum achievement will be shown by the birth of qualified and highly competitive science competition champions who are ready to compete at the national level. This activity aims to provide guidance and training to improve students' abilities in Mathematics in order to prepare students for Olympiad activities. This activity is expected to increase students' understanding and competitive spirit in solving math olympiad questions. In achieving this goal, coaching and training activities on material and Olympic questions were held in order to prepare students to face city-level competitions in mathematics. This Community Service activity in the form of coaching and training, began with a discussion with the head of SMA Negeri 7 Denpasar which was then followed by the submission of an Olympic supervisor from the school to the chairman of the LPPPM Universitas PGRI Mahadewa Indonesia. Coaching activities are carried out for eight meetings which are held every Friday at 12.00-13.30 WITA. This activity is carried out from the beginning of August to the second week of October. Step by step in intensive guidance activities can be done smoothly according to plan. The results of guidance, observation and evaluation during the process of this activity showed that there was interest and a good response from the participants towards the material presented

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan E-Book matematika berbasis model pemecahan masalah pada materi statistika untuk kelas VIII SMP. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan adalah model pengembangan ADDIE yang terdiri dari analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini bersumber dari 2 validator, kemudian terdapat guru mata pelajaran matematika, serta peserta didik kelas VIII A, VIII B dan VIII C. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan, yakni menggunakan angket validitas untuk uji validitas, angket respon guru dan angket respon peserta didik untuk uji kepraktisan, serta tes untuk uji keefektifan. Hasil analisis data kevalidan 81% untuk validator ahli media dan untuk validator ahli materi 84% sehingga dapat dikategorikan valid. Hasil analisis data kepraktisan saat uji coba lapangan 2 sebesar 93% untuk angket respon guru serta 91% untuk angket respon peserta didik, sehingga dapat dikategorikan sangat praktis. Hasil analisis data keefektifan 91% diperoleh dari hasil tes peserta didik dengan nilai di atas KKM yaitu 70 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-Book matematika “sangat efektif”. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-Book yang dihasilkan valid, praktis, dan efektif.
