Abstract

Martial athletes use the rapid weight loss (RWL) method as a strategy to lose weight quickly before competing. This study was conducted to examine the prevalence of the magnitude of the impact of the RWL method used as a way to lose weight by running using a sauna suit on the physical, physiological, psychological, and performance conditions of martial athletes. The population in this study were martial arts athletes throughout Indonesia. This study uses a descriptive method by collecting data through a questionnaire instrument on google Forms which is distributed to martial athletes, especially in the fighting class. The results of the identification through the instrument were then analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results n this study were 88 martial arts athletes using the weight loss method by running using a sauna suit. The impact that occurred on athletes all experienced more than one impact of RWL on the athlete's physical condition, physiological, psychological, and performance of martial athletes which included athletes experiencing 19% of martial arts athletes experiencing muscle cramps, 26% of athletes' body temperature increasing, 7% increasing heart rate, 1% athletes experience dyspnea, 3% athletes experience injuries, 8% athletes feel irritable/increased temperament, 49% athletes experience increased fatigue, 16% athletes experience decreased performance, 9% athletes experience stress, and 17% athletes feel their sports interest is reduced.

Abstract

Penulisan ini bertujuan untuk meninjau tercapainya pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani berbasis blended learning terhadap peningkatan aktivitas fisik siswa di sekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penulisan ini adalah tinjauan sistematis dengan mencari studi yang releven menggunakan google scholar sebagai bahan tinjauan. Referensi yang dimuat yaitu publikasi mulai tanggal 1 Januari 2017 sampai 30 November 2022. Hasil pada penulisan ini menunjukkan tiga penelitian menunjukkan hasil negatif dan dua penelitian menunjukkan hasil positif. Pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani berbasis blended learning memberikan dampak yang kurang terhadap aktivitas fisik siswa di sekolah, memberikan beban terhadap guru, dan masih erat kaitannya dengan dampak covid-19. Namun tidak dapat dipungkiri blended learning akan menunjang profesionalisme guru di masa depan. Hasil positifnya, pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani berbasis blended learning dengan meningkatkan literasi fisik pada siswa sehingga siswa mampu menerapkan untuk meningkatkan kebugaran, serta kepuasan minat belajar, dan memfasilitasi perkembangan olahraga pada siswa.

Abstract

This study is designed to determine the level of motivation rugby 7s athletes in Indonesia after the covid-19 pandemic. The research method used is a survey method with a quantitative descriptive type of research. Participants in this study included 76 female rugby 7s athletes (average athlete age = 19 ± 3.66 years, min = 13 years, max = 27 years, average height = 157.9 ± 6.45 cm, average weight = 54.6 ± 10.24 kg, training experience = 2.1 ± 1.72 years). The instrument used is a google form as a training motivation questionnaire that is distributed to all rugby 7s athletes throughout Indonesia. The results of this study showed the level of motivation of female rugby 7s athletes in Indonesia with results of 2.6% of athletes in the very high category, 11.8% of athletes in the high category, 48.7% of athletes in the medium category, 30.3% of athletes in the low category, and 6.6% of athletes in the very low category. There was a decrease in training intensity by 36.6%, a decrease in exercise frequency by 42.1%, and a decrease in exercise duration by 30.3%. These findings provide initial support as a benchmark in determining the training program that will be designed for the next target event so that it can contribute to increasing the motivation of 7s rugby athletes in Indonesia.
