Abstract

Aloe Vera (Aloe Vera) is a plant native to the African continent which is highly rated as a versatile herbal plant that is easy to find and is still used today as a traditional medicine. Aloe Vera (Aloe Vera) has very beneficial functions for the body, one of which is to accelerate wound healing with properties as anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, and increase tissue granulation. The research method used was observational with a cross-sectional survey analytic descriptive research type.

Abstract

Perineal wounds are perineal injuries to the urogenital diaphragm and laterol ani muscles, postpartum period after delivery is complete up to 6 weeks or 42 days. Care for perineal wounds must be paid close attention because the 60% maternal mortality rate occurs during the puerperium. The relationship between culture and health is very closely related. Trust is a belief in one of the psychological states when someone considers a rationale or reason to be correct. Purpose To find out whether there is a relationship between Javanese Culture and Belief in Perineal Wound Care in Post Partum Mothers. The research design is analytic with a cross-sectional design, in this study the researcher made observations or measured variables at one particular moment. Research Methods The author's research collected data through primary secondary data by conducting interviews with the research instrument in the form of a questionnaire.

Abstract

Luka adalah rusaknya integritas kulit. Untuk mempercepat proses penyembuhan luka ini dapat digunakan obat kimia secara farmakologi maupun bahan alami secara herbal. Salah satu bahan alami yang dapat digunakan adalah jahe merah yang mudah didapat dimasyarakat. Berdasarkan survey lapangan didapatkan di desa bakaran batu banyak terjadi luka yaitu baik luka akut maupun luka kronik maka solusi yang ditawarkan adalah membuat demonstrasi pembuatan air rebusan jahe merah (Gingiber Officinale Var.Rosc.Rubrum) untuk mempercepat penyembuhan luka. Tujuan: Agar masyarakat Desa Bakaran Batu mengetahui manfaatnya dan mampu secara mandiri untuk membuat air rebusan jahe merah (Gingiber Officinale Var.Rosc.Rubrum) sebagai bahan alami untuk mempercepat penyembuhan luka. Metode: Melakukan demonstrasi pembuatan air rebusan jahe merah (Gingiber Officinale Var.Rosc.Rubrum). Hasil kegiatan: Peserta pengabdian masyarakat mengetahui guna air rebusan jahe merah dan mampu membuat air rebusan jahe merah ditandai dengan peserta mampu memperagakan kembali tahap demi tahap cara pembuatan air rebusan jahe merah.

Abstract

Diabetes is a carbohydrate metabolic disorder in the body caused by reduced insulin hormone from pancreatic beta cells as a result of the body's inability to respond to insulin. High glucose levels in the blood while lacking in cells can cause cells to become damaged, organ function is disrupted, resulting in injuries, kidney and retinal damage and neuropathy. Purpose: to improve the quality of life of diabetics by preventing diabetes complications Methods: Giving pre and post activity questionnaires, Providing material about diabetes and namely Demonstration of Diabetes Exercise and doing diabetes exercises once a week for 1 month at the Tiara Medistra Clinic. Results: For knowledge before giving the material the average score was 48.13 while after giving the material the average score was 68.75. For physical and psychological complaints: before the diabetes exercise the average score was 65.75 after the diabetes exercise the average score was 33.25. Conclusion: There was an increase in the quality of life of the participants after being given materials and demonstrations of diabetes exercise at the Tiara Medistra Clinic.

Abstract

Background: 30% of women are still married under 18 years. Law No. 1 of 1074 concerning marriage states that men and women can marry after the age of 19. The reasons why teenagers marry early are knowledge, education, economics, the role of peers and promiscuity. The impacts of early marriage include giving birth to low birth weight babies, abortion and others. Objective: Increase teenagers' knowledge about the risks of early marriage. Method: Providing Reproductive Health education to 30 teenagers aged 15-19 years in Bangun Rejo Village. Results: 15 people (50%) had good knowledge before the education was carried out, but after the education was carried out the knowledge and good knowledge was 24 people (80%) in the same group. Conclusion: There is an increase in adolescent knowledge after being given reproductive health education regarding the risks of early marriage in adolescents 15-18 years in Bangun Rejo Village.
