Abstract

Artikel ini mengangkat urgensi pemanfaatan potensi lokal dalam konteks pengembangan kewirausahaan melalui pelatihan pembuatan olahan jambu biji merah dan asinan jambu kristal di Desa Dukuh, yang dikenal sebagai daerah penghasil jambu biji besar di Karanganyar. Meskipun memiliki potensi yang besar, daerah ini menghadapi permasalahan serius terkait banyaknya jambu biji matang yang tidak terjual. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat terhadap proses pengolahan jambu biji merah menjadi produk bernilai tambah, serta untuk mendemonstrasikan potensi ekonomi yang dapat dihasilkan dari pengolahan jambu biji. Metode pelatihan melalui lima tahap, yakni persiapan, penyuluhan, pelatihan, pendampingan dalam pengemasan dan pemasaran, serta evaluasi kegiatan, publikasi, dan pelaporan. Peserta pelatihan melibatkan 40 orang warga Desa Dukuh. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan telah memberikan manfaat signifikan bagi peserta dalam hal peningkatan pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam pengolahan jambu biji. Selain itu, sebanyak 62,5% masyarakat sangat setuju dan tertarik untuk membuat Es Krim jambu merah dan kristal sebagai alternatif wirausaha baru, dan sisanya menyatakan setuju. Sebagai langkah evaluasi, warga mengungkapkan keinginan mereka untuk pelatihan yang lebih mendalam dan berkelanjutan guna memaksimalkan potensi pemanfaatan jambu secara berkesinambungan

Abstract

This study aims to obtain information and analyze the chemical literacy profile of class X students of one of public high school in Surakarta on chemical bonding material after carrying out differentiation learning with Culturally Responsive Teaching integrated with ethnochemistry. This research used descriptive qualitative approach with post-test only design. The research was conducted on 36 students of class X at one of public high school in Surakarta during 2 meetings. The results of the study showed that the literacy level of students after learning was carried out there were 25% of students classified as high, 56% classified as medium, and 19% classified as low. Based on the results of the analysis on each indicator of chemical literacy, students showed very good levels on all indicators, namely content, context, high-level learning skills, and affective. Therefore, the level of chemical literacy of students is classified as good after learning is differentiated with Culturally Responsive Teaching integrated with ethnochemistry because learning becomes contextual, meaningful, and in accordance with student learning readiness.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an e-module, test the feasibility of the e-module, and test the effectiveness of the guided inquiry-based e-module integrated with KingDraw on isomerism to improve motivation and learning outcomes. This research and development which refers to the Borg & Gall development model which consists of 10 steps and was conducted in three senior high schools in Surakarta. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews and test questionnaires. The effectiveness test used a pretest-posttest design group. Data on motivation and learning were analyzed using normalized gain and SPSS, including normality, homogeneity, and independent sample t-tests. The results show that the guided inquiry-based chemistry e-module integrated with KingDraw was successfully developed through ten Borg and Gall stages and declared feasible as supporting teaching material. Feasibility was demonstrated through expert validation using the Aiken index on media (V = 0.87), material (V = 0.85), and language (V = 0.88) aspects. Guided inquiry-based e-modules with the help of KingDraw have been proven to be more effective than conventional methods in improving students' motivation and learning outcomes, as shown by the higher N-gain value of the experimental class compared to the control class, both in learning outcomes (0.553 > 0.246) and learning motivation (0.673 > 0.216). In addition, the results of the independent t-test with a sig. value of 0.00 indicate that the use of e-modules provides a significant difference to students' motivation and learning outcomes.
