Abstract

The current problem is that the Serdang Bedagai district communication and informatics office is experiencing difficulties in managing incoming and outgoing goods. Management is currently carried out manually and cannot be viewed online so that many errors occur, one of which is a mismatch between the stock of goods recorded and the physical stock of existing goods. The goods management system that will be built in this study uses the waterfall model and PHP and HTML programming languages as well as CSS to design the web appearance. The system has 9 entities, namely: officer, user, sender, person in charge, goods, recipient, detail_recipient, expenditure and data_dinas. The results of the implementation of the proposed system are more optimal management of goods and help the performance of the warehouse admin in making real-time stock update reports and borrowing goods

Abstract

The Free Nutritious Meals Program (MBG) requires data-driven evaluation to identify the regularity, diversity, and co-occurrence of menu components. This study aims to explore associations among MBG menu items and beneficiary groups using association rule mining with the Apriori algorithm. The research follows the Knowledge Discovery in Databases framework, covering data selection, preprocessing, binary transaction transformation, frequent-itemset mining, rule generation, evaluation, and visualization. The available dataset is a secondary illustrative transaction recap consisting of five menu-distribution records. A minimum support of 40% and a minimum confidence of 60% were applied; rule quality was assessed using support, confidence, and lift. Apriori was selected rather than FP-Growth or Eclat because the dataset is small, the item vocabulary is limited, and the level-wise candidate process is easier to audit and interpret for exploratory policy evaluation. The analysis produced 31 frequent itemsets and 67 association rules before redundancy filtering. Representative positive associations included Fish → Fruit, Milk → Elementary School, and Elementary School → Green Vegetables, while Rice → Green Vegetables had the highest support but a neutral lift of 1.00. Scatter and network visualizations clarified the strength and structure of the rules. The results demonstrate the usefulness of Apriori for transparent exploratory analysis, but the small illustrative dataset means that the findings should not be generalized to national MBG implementation. Larger multi-period datasets and direct comparisons with FP-Growth and Eclat are recommended.

Abstract

The manual process of evaluating security guard performance presents various challenges, such as subjective assessments, inaccurate results, and a lengthy decision-making process. This study aims to design and develop a web-based decision support system using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to facilitate the evaluation of security guard performance in an objective, rapid, and measurable manner. The SAW method was chosen because it is capable of conducting evaluations based on multiple criteria through a simple, systematic, and effective weighting process. The criteria used include attendance, honesty and responsibility, cleanliness and neatness, cooperation and leadership, as well as theoretical knowledge and the application of that knowledge. The research methods employed were observation, interviews, and literature review. The results indicate that the developed system can automatically calculate scores, generate performance rankings and ratings for security guards, and provide evaluation reports that are faster, more accurate, and more transparent. This system assists management in decision-making regarding promotions, contract renewals, issuing verbal warnings, written warnings, and even termination of employment. Thus, the implementation of the web-based Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method can enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, and objectivity of security guard performance evaluations at PT. Army.
