Abstract

Study about entrepreneurial character of micro business processed foods maker in the province of Yogyakarta covering 5 districts was conducted. The sample used on this study was they who are have many firm in each district. The study aims to determine the character of the entrepreneurs and analyzed its relationship with business performance, especially in terms of the efficiency of their business. Descriptive analysis was used to find out entrepreneurial character based on data assessed with Liekert’s scales and use path analysis to determine the relationship between entrepreneurial character with efficiency in its business performance. The results of the analysis showed that the entrepreneurial character of the businessmen in general was less strong. External environmental factors were conducive, although the social environment factors were less supportive. Family support was the only one that high. Leadership has a strong influence on future orientation, character of ownership of the business, responsivity and creativity to facing change. Character of leadership was in a strong level so that, if improved, it will enhance the character of entrepreneurial capacity. Characters of future orientation also exist at the strong level.

Abstract

Kegiatan perintisan desa wisata ini dilakukan di Desa Seloharjo, Kecamatan Pundong, Bantul Yogyakarta. Inisiasidilakukan di tiga dusun penyangga di Desa Seloharjo yaitu Dusun Poyahan, Ngreco dan Jelapan. Kegiatan dilakukandengan perintisan berdasarkan konsep 4 A dalam pengembangan wisata yaitu perencanaan atraksi, pengorganisasianpelaku (aktor), perencanaan sarana-prasarana (akomodasi) dan peningkatan daya dukung masyarakat (atmosfer).Pendekatan kegiatan dilakukan dengan survei potensi wisata, focus group discussion (FGD), studi banding wisata,sosialisasi (kampanye) dan lomba dusun dalam rangka wisata. Hasil inisiasi ini menunjukan bahwa awalnyamasyarakat belum tahu tentang konsep desa wisata, tetapi setelah memperoleh penjelasan, meraka sangatmendukung. Masyarakat telah berhasil mengindentifikasi potensi yang layak disajikan dalam desa wisata dariaspek potensi alam, kesenian dan kuliner. Masyarakat juga telah menginisiasi model pengorganisasian pengeloladesa wisata serta memiliki berbagai rencana terkait sarana dan prasarana. Dukungan masyarakat sangat tinggidalam wujud partisipasi dan besarnya harapan bahwa desa wisata dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakatsetempat.Kata Kunci : Perintisan, Desa Wisata, Alam, Budaya

Abstract

Cabai adalah salah satu satu komoditas hortikultura yang umum di budidayakan secara komersial di daerah tropis seperti Indonesia. Kecamatan Sukamantri merupakan sentra tanaman cabai di Kabupaten Ciamis dengan luas tanam dan luas panen terluas yaitu 296 hektar serta nilai produksi terbesar di Kabupaten Ciamis sebesar 37.644 ton. Terdapat dua sistem penjualan cabai merah di Kecamatan Sukamantri, yaitu sistem penjualan mandiri dan sistem penjualan kelompok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis biaya, pendapatan, keuntungan dan kelayakan usahatani cabai merah pada sistem penjualan mandiri dan kelompok. Penentuan lokasi dilakukan secara sengaja di Kecamatan Sukamantri Kabupaten Ciamis. Pengambilan responden menggunakan dua metode yaitu snow ball sampling pada petani mandiri dan simple random sampling pada petani kelompok. Total sample yang diambil adalah 64 responden yang terdiri dari 30 petani mandiri dan 34 petani kelompok. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata biaya yang dikeluarkan petani cabai merah per 0,25 hektar dalam satu musim adalah Rp. 16.343.800 pada petani mandiri dan Rp. 18.592.545 pada petani kelompok dengan memperoleh pendapatan sebesar Rp. 27.983.625 pada petani mandiri dan Rp. 32.5507.004 pada petani kelompok. Masing-masing keuntungan yang diperoleh oleh petani mandiri dan kelompok adalah Rp. 24.015.175 dan Rp. 28.972.885. Kelayakan usahatani cabai merah pada sistem penjualan mandiri dan kelompok di Kecamatan Sukamantri dilihat dari R/C, produktivitas lahan, produktivitas tenaga kerja dan produktivitas modal layak untuk diusahakan dan dikembangkan. Nilai R/C yang diperoleh adalah 2,47 pada petani mandiri dan 2,56 pada petani kelompok, sedangkan nilai produktivitas lahan masing-masing petani adalah Rp. 94.877.540/ha dan Rp. 113.998.539/ha. Adapun perolehan produktivitas tenaga kerja masing-masing petani adalah Rp. 277.779/HKO dan Rp. 443.882/HKO serta nilai produktivitas modal adalah 194,1% pada petani mandiri dan 192,40 % pada petani kelompok.

Abstract

Inpari IR Nutri Zinc paddy is New Superior Variety (VUB) paddy which has a high potential content of Zn which can reach 34,51 ppm with an average of 29,54 ppm. This study aims to determine the average cost, revenue, income, and profit of Inpari IR Nutri Zinc, Ciherang, and Inpari 42 Paddy farming and to determine of comparison the average of feasibility of Inpari IR Nutri Zinc Paddy farming with Ciherang and Inpari 42 Paddy farming in Nanggulan Sub-district, Kulon Progo District. The basic method used is descriptive analysis. The sampling method is cluster sampling method with a non-proportional for determining the number of respondents in Jatisarono Village, Nanggulan Sub-district, Kulon Progo District with a total sample of 60 farmers. The average cost per 1.000 m2 of Inpari IR Nutri Zinc, Ciherang, and Inpari 42 Paddy farming in Nanggulan Sub-district respectively is IDR 2.001.362, IDR 1.937.718, and IDR 2.024.216. The average revenue per 1.000 m2 of Inpari IR Nutri Zinc, Ciherang, and Inpari 42 Paddy farming respectively is IDR 2.179.575, IDR 2.545.940, and IDR 2.551.111. The average income per 1.000 m2 of Inpari IR Nutri Zinc, Ciherang, and Inpari 42 Paddy farming respectively is IDR 817.141, IDR 1.171.901, and IDR 1.176.587. The average profit per 1.000 m2 of Inpari IR Nutri Zinc, Ciherang, and Inpari 42 Paddy farming respectively is IDR 178.213, IDR 608.222, and IDR 526.895. The average feasibility of Inpari IR Nutri Zinc Paddy farming in terms of R/C, land productivity, labor productivity, and capital productivity are still lower than the feasibility of Ciherang and Inpari 42 Paddy farming.
