Abstract

The economics development in Banjarnegara regency have not maximum undertaken, therefore, the sector analysis is needed to formulate appropriate strategies. This study aims to know contribution, linkage and diffusion of agriculture sector to the other sectors, multiplier effect, and the priority sector in the economy of Banjarnegara regency. This research used input-output table of domestic transaction based on producer prices of Banjarnegara regency in 2013. The results showed that the agriculture sector which was dominated by subsector of food crop has high contribution to the economy of Banjarnegara regency. The agriculture sector has the highest forward linkage value after the industrial sector, but the backward linkage value is very low. The agricultural sector has the high enough for diffusion sensitivity value but the diffusion coefficient is very low. The highest sensitivity and coefficient in agricultural sector are the food crop. Multiplier income and employment in agricultural sector have the highest value while multiplier output is the second rank after industrial sector. The priority sector is industrial sector, then followed by agricultural sector which has subsector priority in food crop.

Abstract

Food security has meaning not only the availability of adequate food, but also providing security for producers and consumers and ensuring environmental sustainability for sustainable production. Organic farming systems are expected to solve the problem for realizing food security and enhancement of peoples welfare. The results of research indicated that, (1) The implementation level of Standard Operating Procedure-Good Agriculture Practice (SOP-GAP) of Organic Rice Farming in Bantul district was quite high, (2) The implementation level of SOP-GAP of Organic Rice Farming related to the availability of capital, the selling price and the purchase price of inputs (seeds and fertilizers), (3) The level of the farmers decision related to the implementation level of SOP-GAP of organic rice farming, and (4) development of organic rice farming required availability of sufficient capital. In this regard the government, particularly the agriculture authority and food security agency need to disburse or facilitate capital for farmers in revolving as well as low interest loans.

Abstract

Emping melinjo was one of the agroindustry-products that had great potential to be developed. The industry of emping melinjo contributed more on economic growth in the reason of creating jobs and alleviate poverty. The purpose of this study was to describe the performance of supply chain of emping melinjo from upstream to downstream and analyze the efficiency of supply chain of emping melinjo in Bantul regency. Field study to obtain primary data was done through interviews with the practitioners of emping melinjo supply chain (including farmers and merchants of melinjo as well as producers and retailers of melinjo chips). The results of field studies then tabulated and analyzed descriptively and quantitatively using Linear Programming. The analysis showed that there were 37 supply chain networks of emping melinjo in Bantul. The practitioners of upstream supply chain were melinjo farmers, middlemen, traders, wholesalers, and retailers, while in the downstream, were emping melinjo producers, traders, small traders, wholesalers, retailers and consumers. The activities of the doer of emping melinjo supply chain includes purchasing, sales, harvesting, packaging, packing, stripping, storage, loading and unloading, transporting, sorting and grading. The flow of products and money in the supply chain of emping melinjo run smoothly, while the flow of information was sluggish. Based on linear programming analysis the cost of supply chain of emping melinjo would reach minimum level at Rp33,969,264 per week if the production of emping melinjo as many as 25 361 kg per week wich was distributed using 22 networks.

Abstract

The objective of this research is determine the profit of red chili farming coastal land, the factors that influence of red chili production and efficiency used of production factors on red chili farming on coastal land in Temon subdistrict Kulon Progo Regency. Selection of the location is used purposive method.Fourty farmer sampling were taken as simple random sampling. The analysis method is used Multiple Regression Analysis with Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The result showed that the income of red chili farming in coastal land is Rp 9.278.430/0,38 ha and the profit is Rp 3.094.504/0,38 ha. The production factors concists of the soil of area, number of seeds, amount of labors, manure fertilizer, dunk fertilizer, Za chemic fertilizer, SP 36 fertilizer, NPK Mutiara fertilizer, Phonska fertilizer, Furadan insecticide, Ampligo fungicide, Anthracol fungicide, Confidor insecticide, the kind of seeds and used of mulch aggregated influences to red chili production. The production factors number of seeds, amount of labors, manure fertilizer, NPK Mutiara fertilizer, Ampligo fungicide, kind of seeds and used mulch partially influences to red chili production on coastal land. Seed applied on red chili farming on coastal land is efficient.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengkaji pengaruh berbagai probiotik cair terhadap konsumsi pakan, konsumsi protein, kecernaan protein, bobot badan dan bobot telur puyuh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan rancangan acak lengkap. Materi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah burung puyuh betina berumur 30 hari sebanyak 100 ekor, 3 jenis probiotik cair komersial, dan pakan dengan kandungan protein 22,16%, Ca 0,11%, P 0,55% dan energi metabolisme 3032,5 kcal / kg. Perlakuan yang diberikan adalah P0: air minum tanpa probiotik, P1: air minum diberikan probiotik Probio 2ml/l, P2: air minum diberi probiotik Vitanimal 2ml/l, dan P3: air minum diberi probiotik EM4 2ml/l.  Setiap perlakuan diulang 5 kali. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis variansi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa puyuh perlakuan P0 mengkonsumsi air minum rata-rata 49,03 ml / ekor / hari, P1 sebanyak 51,83 ml / ekor / hari, P2 sebanyak 50,68 ml / ekor / hari dan P3 sebanyak 48,66 ml / ekor / hari. Perlakuan  berbagai probiotik cair berpengaruh tidak nyata (P> 0,05) terhadap konsumsi pakan, konsumsi protein, kecernaan protein dan berat telur puyuh. Kesimpulannya, probiotik cair komersial sebanyak  2ml/liter air minum belum mampu mengoptimalkan  konsumsi pakan, konsumsi protein, kecernaan protein dan bobot telur puyuh.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi ranting ‘Aisyiyah yakni pemanfaatan pekarangan umumnya untuk fasilitas umum, tanaman yang diusahakan di pekarangan kurang bernilai ekonomi, pengetahuan, wawasan dan ketrampilan anggota ‘Aisyiyah dalam pemanfaatan pekarangan dan teknik budidaya tanaman masih terbatas.. Tujuan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini, yaitu meningkatkan pengetahuan, wawasan dan ketrampilan kelompok Aisyiyah Wedomartani dan Argomulyo dalam pemanfaatan pekarangan. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan, meliputi penyuluhan, pelatihan dan praktik serta fasilitasi material penunjang. Teknologi budidaya yang dit erapkan dalam pemanfaatan pekarangan, yaitu hidroponik, vertikultur, whick pot dan penanaman dalam pot.Hasil pengabdian pada masyarakat menunjukkan bahwa penerapan teknologi budidaya tanaman secara hidroponik dan penanaman dalam pot dapat diterima dan dilakukan dengan baik oleh kelompok Aisyiyah di Wedomartani, dan Argomu lyo. Pemanfaatan pekarangan dengan tanaman sayuran, buah dan obat dilakukan dengan sungguh-sungguh oleh masyarakat, khususnya kelompok Aisyiyah di Wedomartani dan Argomulyo sebagaimana hasil monitoring da n evaluasi selama kegiatan dan paska kegiatan.Kata kunci : Kemandirian pangan, Pemanfaatan Pekarangan, ‘Aisyiyah, Hidroponik, Tabulampot

Abstract

Masyarakat di Desa Karang Tengah selain menjadi petani mempunyai pekerjaan lain sebagai pengrajin olahan pangan (agroindustri pangan) dengan bahan baku dari daerah sekitarnya. Para pengrajin belum mempunyai wadah berkelompok guna membahas permasalahan yang dihadapi. Sebagian besar pengrajin belum menerapkan sistem administrasi keuangan dan jaminan terhadap produk olahannya masih terbatas. Tujuan pemberdayaan masyarakat ini yaitu 1) mengidentifikasi peran kelompok agroindustri olahan pangan, 2) mengaplikasikan sistem administrasi keuangan yang sesuai kebutuhan, 3) meningkatkan jaminan mutu produk olahan pangan sesuai standar Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM). Metode pendekatan yang digunakan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, diperlukan sosialisasi dan pendampingan pembentukan kelompok, pendampingan dan fasilitasi terkait pengelolaan administrasi keuangan, penjaminan mutu produk yang meliputi proses sertifikasi mutu produk dan pengemasan. Hasil pendampingan menunjukkan, bahwa peran kelompok pengrajian olahan pangan Karang Rejek sebagai wahana belajar, kerjasama maupun unit produksi masih terbatas. Sebanyak 6 pengrajin menerapkan sistem administrasi keuangan sederhana sesuai standar UKM. Produk olahan pangan yang sudah memperoleh sertifikat P-IRT ada 3 produk, yaitu Bakpia Sri Lestari, Ceriping Pisang Wulandari dan Keripik Telo Anisa. Sebanyak 8 pengrajin melakukan pengemasan produk sesuai standar UKM. Guna mengembangkan agroindustri pangan lokal di Desa Karang Tengah, pendampingan terhadap pengrajian perlu dilakukan terus-menerus dengan melibatkan institusi terkait.Kata Kunci: agroindustri, sistem administrasi keuangan, P-IRT, kemasan
